  I think every business person would like to have excel UI, however they are forced into using web applications that sometimes look like really bad excel. Are there any frameworks that help build excel ui without VB? I dont mean framework like POI or JExcel that allows you to generate excel reports.

  In a B- tree you can store both keys and data in the internal/leaf nodes. But in a B+ tree you have to store the data in the leaf nodes only. Is there any advantage of doing the above in a B+ tree? Why not use B- trees instead of B+ trees everywhere? As intuitively they seem much faster. I mean why do you need to replicate the key(data) in a B+ tree?

  I don't understand Access Modifiers in OOP. Why do we make for example in Java instance variables private and then use public getter and setter methods to access them? I mean what's the reasoning/logic behind this? You still get to the instance variable but why use setter and getter methods when you can just make your variables public? please excuse my ignorance as I am simply trying to understand why? • how to access locally deployed webapp on ipodtouch ?

  Hi, I have a wifi network at home with a couple of laptops. I am running a Tapestry webapp on my machine. I can access this webapp from the other laptop if I use the IP address of my machine (I mean enter something like : http://192.168.1.53:8080/webapp/index.html). However, when I try to do so in Safari on my iPodTouch, it fails. Could someone point out what's the problem here ? Thanks, Abhinav.

For multiple signature i mean not countersignature, but a double independent sign to the same document, the resulting signature will have 2 or more signature object. • Android multiple screen sizes with same density

  I'm confused regarding the densities. I see that with medium density, the screen resolution could be either 320x480, 480x800, or 480x854. So if I have an image thats 300px wide in the mdpi folder, how is it going to look the same size on all 3 different screen sizes (mainly 320x480 vs the other 2)? And by look the same size, I mean scale to be bigger or smaller depending upon the screen size. Thanks.

Every time I've tried to learn a language and stuff by looking through tutorials or books I'd never get past the part where I use the syntax to make something. And by interest, I mean that I read stack overflow a lot, coding horror, and stuff but the actual coding part is hard for me to get into. Did anybody start this way? How did you get past this block?
