  • Bubbling scroll events from a ListView to its parent

    In my WPF application I have a ListView whose ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollBarVisibility is set to Disabled. It is contained within a ScrollViewer. When I attempt to use the mouse wheel over the ListView, the outer ScrollViewer does not scroll because the ListView is capturing the scroll events. How can I force the ListView to allow the scroll events to bubble up to the ScrollViewer?

  • Which GUI toolkit would you use for a touchscreen interface?

    The only experience I have so far with a touchscreen interface was one where everything was custom drawn, and I get the feeling it's not the most efficient way of doing it (even the most basic layout change is hell to make). I know plenty of GUI toolkits intended at keyboard & mouse interfaces, but can you advise something suited for touchscreens? Target platform is Windows, but cross-platform would be nice.

  • One click to trigger several search forms?

    Hello, I have 1 main search form with a submit button and several secondary search forms with submit buttons. What I would like to do is when I enter text and click on the submit button of the main search form, the same text gets copied in all of the secondary search forms and all the submit buttons of the secondary search forms get automatically hit. I thus figured out how to do that. The problem is to "simulate" an "Enter" keystroke or a click on the "GO" button with the mouse on the secondary search form when the user hits the Enter key or hits the "SEND" button with the mouse on the main search form.   • MouseUpEvent stops working while Dragging MovieClip

    There is a mouseUpEvent listener attached to the stage, while dragging the movieClip the mouseUpEvent doesnot trigger the handler somehow the mouseUp gets lost. While the item is being dragged and the mouse is moved away from the movieClip i.e somewhere not on the item but on the stage the mouseUp is detected. Any ideas!!

    I'm looking for something like VNC, but with some extra features: The server should send only the part of the screen the client is looking at. It would be great if we could have 2 mice on the client's desktop. Or at least if the client could point to somthing without interrupting the server's mouse. A shared whiteboard would be great. Some extra notes: My friend lives far away, and we are using WinXP.

  • VS 2008 hangs(slow) when I select "File > Open > Web Site..."

    When I try to select the following "File Open Web Site" or use the shortcut key "Shift + Alt + O" (which does the same), Visual Studio 2008 hangs with the loading mouse icon for about 8-10 seconds then the file. But if I do "File Open Project/Solution.." or "File Open File..." the explorer window comes up in under a second, instantly most times. Computer Specs: Windows 7 x64 Visual Studio 2008 Pro Edition with Service Pack 1 Intel Core2 Due e6420 @ 3.2GHz 4GB DDR2

    Question: What command do you type in to the "Run Application" box on ubuntu to open the terminal? Info: I'm having horrible horrible driver issues on my netbook.     I have a menu set up that has about 20 menu items in a circle. When you mouse over each item, a title comes up. The only problem is that because of the depth order, it's hidden behind the other menu items. Is there a way to bring this item to the front when moused over? I'm pretty actionscript illiterate so any help would be awesome.

    Here are the ways the Eclipse documentation states you can navigate the Content Assist list: You can use the mouse or the keyboard (Up Arrow, Down Arrow, Page Up, Page Down, Home, End, Enter) to navigate and select lines in the list. But all of the options require you to move your hands significantly away from their natural place on the keyboard! Are there any other, quicker ways I can navigate this list? Something like tab, or the j/k from vi?

    I have a submit button that changes when the user hovers his mouse over it. Right now the image is taking a while to load and you get a half second where there is white screen instead of the other button. Is there anyway to improve this using just CSS and HTML or do I need to do some JS work?
