  Hi. I'm writing a game in C++, and I'm trying to get it to recognize keyboard and mouse events. Google tells me that boost.signal is suitable for event handling, but none of the code samples or tutorials I've found tell me how to associate a keypress or mouseclick with a function. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I want it it so that if you drag an element out of the container (when the mouse crosses the border of the containing div) the element you're dragging to change.   Hey guys, I am trying do write an application(server) which receives the keyboard instructions from the client and execute them on the server end. It's more like those screen recorders which records your keyboard and mouse events and replay them. For example, you pull up a textedit on the server, type whatever you like on the client and you can see those letters on the server. I have no clues what materials I should look into, any suggestions?

  I'm using Terminal.app on Mac OS10.6.3, with gnu screen and zsh. What I want to do is, see pwd(or an URL) in Terminal.app and double click on it, and select the whole path, to copy and paste after that. But what I get now is a single directory name, because '/' is not treated as a word. I found that iTerm has a setting to change it(iTerm - Preferences - Mouse - Characters considered part of a word), but is there any way to do this on my environment?

  I like for the textbox to change the background when the textbox has focus (if clicked with a mouse, tabbed into, etc). • Login screen delay in CentOS 5.4 x64

  I was happily running my CentOS 5.4 before something bad happened that somehow corrupted the 'nautilus' package. It stopped me from using the default Gnome Desktop. Then I installed (using yum) the KDE and nautilus later on. Now, KDE is running perfectly with one exception that it takes around 10 minutes before showing up the Login Screen and only a blue screen with mouse pointer keeps showing during those 10 minutes. • How to prevent leaving an Icon in System Tray on exit?

  My program puts an icon in the system tray because the user may minimize to it. However, if the application crashes, or I stop the app from running in VS it leaves the icon in it until I hover over it with the mouse.   I'm trying to put together a game for Mac OS X which involves a lot of fast action and flinging around of the mouse cursor. If the user wants to play in windowed mode, I'd quite like to lock the cursor to the inside of the window to avoid accidentally changing programs in the heat of battle (obviously this will cancel itself if the user changes programs or hits escape for the pause menu.) On Windows, this can be accomplished easily with ClipCursor(). I can't find an equivalent on Mac OS X. Is there one?
