• Is there any WinSCP equivalent for linux?

  I love WinSCP for Windows. What are the best equivalent softwares for linux? I tried to use sshfs to mount the remote file system on my local machine, but it is not as user friendly as simply launching a GUI, plus it seems to require root access on the client machine, which is not very convenient. Of course command line tools such as scp are possible, but I am looking for a simple GUI. Thanks!

The closest I've come across are escape(), encodeURI(), and encodeURIComponent() (and their corresponding un-encoding functions), but they don't encode/decode the same set of special characters as far as I can tell.   Can you figure out the numeric equivalent of an Excel column string in the shortest-possible way, using your favorite language? For example, the A column is 1, B is 2, so on and so forth. Once you hit Z, the next column becomes AA, then AB and so on. Rules: Here is some sample input and output: A: 1 B: 2 AD: 30 ABC: 731 WTF: 16074 ROFL: 326676 I don't know if the submitter is allowed to post a solution, but I have a Perl solution that clocks in at 125 characters :).

  I have a table and I'd like to pull one row per id with field values concatenated... In my table, for example, I have this: TM67 | 4 | 32556 TM67 | 9 | 98200 TM67 | 72 | 22300 TM99 | 2 | 23009 TM99 | 3 | 11200 And, I'd like to output: TM67| 4,9,72 | 32556,98200,22300 TM99 | 2,3 | 23009,11200 In MySQL, I was able to use GROUP_CONCAT, but that doesn't seem to work here... Is there an equivalent or another way to accomplish this?

If the answer is no, how do you handle creating something like a customer number or order number that will prevent the creation duplicate numbers? That same method returns a complex type which WSC converted into nested NSDictionaries, so no problems there. So I assumed I'd be able to convert my local TestItemResponse class into an NSDictionary and then use that as the complex type param. It almost worked, but unfortunately WSC set the object's type as "Dictionary", instead of "TestItemResponse", and the server complained. <TestItemResponse xsi:type=\"SOAP-ENC:Dictionary\"> <ErrorFullDescription xsi:type=\"xsd:string\">foo</ErrorFullDescription> ... I can't seem to find anything that allows you to override the type WSC assigns to the element in the SOAP XML. I've been using code adapted from here, I'm happy to list it, it's just quite long and this is already the longest SO question I've ever posted.

• SHAREPOINT: Custom Field type property storage defined for custom field

  ok here is a great question. I have a set of generic custom fields that are highly configurable from an end user perspective and the configuration is getting overbearing as there are nearly 100 plus items each custom field allows you to perform in the areas of Server/Client Validation, Server/Client Events/Actions, Server/Client Bindings parent/child, display properties for form/control, etc, etc. Right now I'm storing most of these values as "Text" in my field xml for my propertyschema. I'm very familiar with the multi column value, but this is not a complex custom type in sense it's an array. I also considered creating serilzable objects and stuffing them into the text field and then pulling out and de-serilizing them when editing through the field editor or acting on the rules through the custom spfield. • Try-Catch equivalent in Objective-C / xcode

  I get an app crash in main.m in my app and have no idea why the error is happening because xcode doesn't show me where the crash occurs, it shows me that it crashes at return UIApplicationMain(argc, argv ...) which tells me nothing. Is there a way to have in xcode / Objective-C the equivalent of a try/catch in Visual Studio to see exactly where the error is occuring? I'm using latest xcode (4.6 I believe). Thanks in advance.
