• Java JPanel not showing up....

    - by user69514
I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, but the text for my JPanels is not showing up. I just get the question number text, but the question is not showing up. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? import java.awt.*; import java.awt.event.*; import javax.swing.*; import javax.swing.event.*; class NewFrame extends JFrame { JPanel centerpanel; // For the questions. • GWT with JDO problem

    - by Maksim
I just start playing with GWT I'm having a really hard time to make GWT + JAVA + JDO + Google AppEngine working with DataStore. I was trying to follow different tutorial but had no luck. For example I wend to these tutorials: TUT1 TUT2 I was not able to figure out how and what i need to do in order to make this work. Please look at my simple code and tell me what do i need to do so i can persist it to the datastore: 1. • Parsing google feed with linq to xml

    - by the_V
Hi I'm trying to parse XML feed that I get via Google Contacts API with LINQ 2 XML. That's what feed looks like:

My Contacts

Contact name

<gd:email rel="http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#other" address="[email protected]" primary="true" />

I've tried a number of things with linq 2 sql, but they didn't work. Even this simple code snipped doesn't work: using (FileStream stream = File.OpenRead("response.xml")) { XmlReader reader = XmlReader.Create(stream); XDocument doc = XDocument.Load(reader); XElement feed = doc.Element("feed"); if (feed == null) { Console.WriteLine("feed not found"); } XElement id = doc.Element("id"); if (id == null) { Console.WriteLine("id is null"); } } Problem is that both id and feed are null here. What wrong am I doing?

  • Google Code + SVN or GitHub + Git

    - by Nazgulled
Let me start by telling you that I never used anything besides SVN and I'm also a Windows user. I have a couple of simple projects that are open-source, others are on there way when I'm happy enough to release their source code but either way, I was thinking of using Google Code and SVN to share the source code of my projects instead of providing a link to the source on my website. This as always been a pain cause I had to update the binaries and the code every time I released a new version. This would also help me out to have a backup of my code some where instead of just my local machine (I used to have a local Subversion server running). What I want from a service like this is very simple... I just want a place to store my source code that people can download if they want, allows me to control revisions and provide a simple and easy issue system so people can submit bugs and stuff like that. I guess both of them have this. But I don't want to host any binaries in their websites, I want this to be hosted on my website so I can control download statistics with my own scripts, I also don't have the need for wiki pages as I prefer to have all the documentation in my own website. Does anyone of this services provide a way to "disable" features like wiki and downloads and don't show them at all for my project(s)? Now, I'm sure there are lots of pros and cons about using Google Code with SVN and GitHub with Git (of course) but here's what it's important for me on each one and why I like them: Google Code: As with any Google page, the complexity is almost non-existent Everyone (or almost) as a Google account and this is nice if people want to report problems using the issues system GitHub: May (or may not) be a little more complex (not a problem for me though) than Google's pages but... ...has a much prettier interface than Google's service It needs people to be registered on GitHub to post about issues I like the fact that with Git, you have your own revisions locally (can I use TortoiseGit for this or?) Basically that's it, not much I know... What other, most common, pros and cons can you tell me about each site/software? Keep in mind that my projects are simple, I'm probably the only one who will ever develop these projects on these repositories (or maybe not, for now I will)

  • In Google Glass, Menu Items are not shown after XE 17.2 Update, any Solutions?

    - by Amalan Dhananjayan
This worked when the Glass in on XE12, I have opened the solution after about 2 Months and now with XE17 the menu items are not shown when tapped on the Live card, instead the live card is disappearing. I have updated the GDK, I have changed the code to support the latest GDK sneak peek version 2 changes according to this (https://developers.google.com/glass/release-notes#xe12) This is the code public class MenuActivity extends Activity { private static final String TAG = MenuActivity.class.getSimpleName(); private VisionService.VisionBinder mVisionService; private ServiceConnection mConnection = new ServiceConnection() { @Override public void onServiceConnected(ComponentName name, IBinder service) { if (service instanceof VisionService.VisionBinder) { mVisionService = (VisionService.VisionBinder) service; openOptionsMenu(); } // No need to keep the service bound. unbindService(this); } @Override public void onServiceDisconnected(ComponentName name) { } }; private boolean mResumed; @Override protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); bindService(new Intent(this, VisionService.class), mConnection, 0); } @Override protected void onResume() { super.onResume(); mResumed = true; openOptionsMenu(); } @Override protected void onPause() { super.onPause(); mResumed = false; } @Override public void openOptionsMenu() { if (mResumed && mConnection != null) { super.openOptionsMenu(); } } @Override public boolean onCreateOptionsMenu(Menu menu) { getMenuInflater().inflate(R.menu.menu, menu); return true; } @Override public boolean onOptionsItemSelected(MenuItem item) { int id = item.getItemId(); if (id == R.id.action_send) { mVisionService.requestWorkOrderCard(); finish(); return true; } else if (id == R.id.action_refresh) { mVisionService.requestTopWorkOrders(); finish(); return true; } else if (id == R.id.action_finish) { stopService(new Intent(this, VisionService.class)); finish(); return true; } else { return super.onOptionsItemSelected(item); } } @Override public void onOptionsMenuClosed(Menu menu) { super.onOptionsMenuClosed(menu); } } It would be great if any body could help on this. Thank You

In the previous post JMS Step 1 - How to Create a Simple JMS Queue in Weblogic Server 11g I showed you how to create a JMS queue and its dependent objects in WebLogic Server. In this article, we will use a sample program to write a message to that queue. Please review the previous post if you have not created those objects yet, as they will be required later in this example. The previous post also includes useful background information and links to the Oracle documentation for addional research. The following post in this series will show how to read the message from the queue again. 1. Source code The following java code will be used to write a message to the JMS queue. It is based on a sample program provided with the WebLogic Server installation. The sample is not installed by default, but needs to be installed manually using the WebLogic Server Custom Installation option, together with many, other useful samples. You can either copy-paste the following code into your editor, or install all the samples. The knowledge base article in My Oracle Support: How To Install WebLogic Server and JMS Samples in WLS 10.3.x (Doc ID 1499719.1) describes how to install the samples. QueueSend.java package examples.jms.queue; import java.io.BufferedReader; import java.io.IOException; import java.io.InputStreamReader; import java.util.Hashtable; import javax.jms.*; import javax.naming.Context; import javax.naming.InitialContext; import javax.naming.NamingException; /** This example shows how to establish a connection * and send messages to the JMS queue. How to Use This Class 2.1 From the file system on UNIX/Linux Log in to a machine with a WebLogic installation and create a directory to contain the source and code matching the package name, e.g. $HOME/examples/jms/queue. Copy the above QueueSend.java file to this directory. Set the CLASSPATH and environment to match the WebLogic server environment. Go to $MIDDLEWARE_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/bin and execute . ./setDomainEnv.sh Collect the following information required to run the script: The JNDI name of a JMS queue to use In the Weblogic server console > Services > Messaging > JMS Modules > (Module name, e.g. TestJMSModule) > (JMS queue name, e.g. TestJMSQueue)Select the queue and note its JNDI name, e.g. jms/TestJMSQueue The JNDI name of a connection factory to connect to the queue Follow the same path as above to get the connection factory for the above queue, e.g. TestConnectionFactory and its JNDI namee.g. jms/TestConnectionFactory The URL and port of the WebLogic server running the above queue Check the JMS server for the above queue and the managed server it is targeted to, for example soa_server1. Now find the port this managed server is listening on, by looking at its entry under Environment > Servers in the WLS console, e.g. 8001 The URL for the server to be given to the QueueSend program in this example will therefore be t3://host.domain:8001 e.g. t3://jbevans-lx.de.oracle.com:8001 Edit QueueSend.java and enter the above queue name and connection factory respectively under ...public final static String JMS_FACTORY=" jms/TestConnectionFactory "; ... public final static String QUEUE=" jms/TestJMSQueue "; ... Compile QueueSend.java using javac QueueSend.java Go to the source’s top-level directory and execute it using java examples.jms.queue.QueueSend t3://jbevans-lx.de.oracle.com:8001 This will prompt for a text input or “quit” to end. In the WLS console, go to the queue and select Monitoring to confirm that a new message was written to the queue. 2.2 From JDeveloper Create a new application in JDeveloper, called, for example JMSTests. When prompted for a project name, enter QueueSend and select Java as the technology Default Package = examples.jms.queue (but you can enter anything here as you will overwrite it in the code later). Leave the other values at their defaults. Press Finish Create a new Java class called QueueSend and use the default values This will create a file called QueueSend.java. Open QueueSend.java, if it is not already open and replace all its contents with the QueueSend java code listed above Some lines might have warnings due to unfound objects. These are due to missing libraries in the JDeveloper project. Add the following libraries to the JDeveloper project: right-click the QueueSend project in the navigation menu and select Libraries and Classpath , then Add JAR/Directory Go to the folder containing the JDeveloper installation and find/choose the file javax.jms_1.1.1.jar , e.g. at D:\oracle\jdev11116\modules\javax.jms_1.1.1.jar Do the same for the weblogic.jar file located, for example in D:\oracle\jdev11116\wlserver_10.3\server\lib\weblogic.jar Now you should be able to compile the project, for example by selecting the Make or Rebuild icons If you try to execute the project, you will get a usage message, as it requires a parameter pointing to the WLS installation containing the JMS queue, for example t3://jbevans-lx.de.oracle.com:8001 . You can automatically pass this parameter to the program from JDeveloper by editing the project’s Run/Debug/Profile. Select the project properties, select Run/Debug/Profile and edit the Default run configuration and add the connection parameter to the Program Arguments field If you execute it again, you will see that it has passed the parameter to the start command If you get a ClassNotFoundException for the class weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory , then check that the weblogic.jar file was correctly added to the project in one of the earlier steps above. Set the values of JMS_FACTORY and QUEUE the same way as described above in the description of how to use this from a Linux file system, i.e. ...public final static String JMS_FACTORY=" jms/TestConnectionFactory "; ... public final static String QUEUE=" jms/TestJMSQueue "; ... You need to make one more change to the project. If you execute it now, it will prompt for the payload for the JMS message, but you won’t be able to enter it by default in JDeveloper. You need to enable program input for the project first. Select the project’s properties, then Tool Settings, then check the Allow Program Input checkbox at the bottom and Save. Now when you execute the project, you will get a text entry field at the bottom into which you can enter the payload. You can enter multiple messages until you enter “quit”, which will cause the program to stop. The following screen shot shows the TestJMSQueue’s Monitoring page, after a message was sent to the queue: This concludes the sample. In the following post I will show you how to read the message from the queue again.

  • Countour Mapping API

    - by Crash
I have done some searching on Google, but haven't come up with much as of yet. I am wanting to take a set of point data, which I had previously been using to create weighted points for a heat map through the Google API, and turn them into a contour map to overlay on the Google Maps API. I haven't seen anything in Google's code that would let me do this. Does anyone know of a good API to create such an overlay? Or is there possibly something I have overlooked that Google offers?

  • Cannot get Google Analytics API to register page views on iPhone

  • Using Google Spreadsheet API on Blackberry

    - by Dev
I am trying to build a Google spreadsheet synchronization feature on a blackberry application that I am building. Not being a pro I was hunting for some sample code to get a grasp of the flow but I could not. When I am using the API from Google to access spreadsheets, it suggests to use the SpreadsheetService class. try{ SpreadsheetService service = new SpreadsheetService ("MRythm"); service.setUserCredentials("username", "password"); service.getFeed(new URL(""), arg1) }catch(Exception e){ } Now the problem is J2ME or Blackberry does not feature the URL class from java.net library. I am just looking for a sample approach to connect to a Google spreadsheet from Blackberry. Thanks in advance

  • Custom Icon for Marker Clusterer

    - by Nyxynyx
    I am using Marker Clusterer library for Google Maps API V3. Now that I have the clusterer working, I want to change the default icon to a custom one. Prorblem: When I try to set the style property of the marker clusterer, the default icon still appears. Where did I go wrong? JS Code // Marker Clusterer var styles = {styles: [{ height: 53, url: "http://localhost/mywebsite/images/template/markers/cluster.png", width: 53 }, { height: 56, url: "http://google-maps-utility-library-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/markerclusterer/images/m2.png", width: 56 }, { height: 66, url: "http://google-maps-utility-library-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/markerclusterer/images/m3.png", width: 66 }, { height: 78, url: "http://google-maps-utility-library-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/markerclusterer/images/m4.png", width: 78 }, { height: 90, url: "http://google-maps-utility-library-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/markerclusterer/images/m5.png", width: 90 }]}; var mcOptions = {gridSize: 50, maxZoom: 15, styles: styles[styles]}; mc = new MarkerClusterer(map, [], mcOptions);

  • Setting marker title in Google Maps API 3 using jQuery

    - by bateman_ap
Hi, I am having a couple of problems with Google Maps and jQuery. Wondered if anyone can help with the smaller of the two problems and hopefully it will help me to fixing the bigger one. I am using the below code to populate a google map, basically it uses generated HTML to populate the maps in the form:

(0.62km away)

BOOK NOW

Metro Bar and Grill

73 Cornwall Street, Birmingham, B3 2DF
2 courses £14.50

Diner Rating:

7.8

(0.97km away)

BOOK NOW

Filini Restaurant - Birmingham

Radisson Blu Hotel, 12 Holloway Circus, Queensway, Birmingham, B1 1BT
2 for 1: main courses

Diner Rating:

7.8

(1.05km away)

BOOK NOW

B1

Central Square , Birmingham, B1 1HH
25% off food

Diner Rating:

7.9

The JavaScript loops though all the divs with class mapSearch and uses this to plot markers using the div ID to get the lat/lon and ID of the venue: var locations = $(".mapSearch"); for (var i=0;i<locations.length;i++) { var id = locations[i].id; if (id) { var jsLonLat = id.substring(3).split(":")[0]; var jsId = id.substring(3).split(":")[1]; var jsLat = jsLonLat.split("_")[0]; var jsLon = jsLonLat.split("_")[1]; var jsName = $("h2").text(); var jsAddress = $("p.address").text(); var latlng = new google.maps.LatLng(jsLat,jsLon); var marker = new google.maps.Marker({ position: latlng, map:map, icon: greenRestaurantImage, title: jsName }); google.maps.event.addListener(marker, 'click', function() { //Check to see if info window already exists if (!infowindow) { //if doesn't exist then create a empty InfoWindow object infowindow = new google.maps.InfoWindow(); } //Set the content of InfoWindow infowindow.setContent(jsAddress); //Tie the InfoWindow to the market infowindow.open(map, marker); }); bounds.extend(latlng); map.fitBounds(bounds); } } The markers all plot OK on the map, however I am having probs with the infoWindow bit. I want to display info about each venue when clicked, however using my code above it just puts all info in one box when clicked, not individually. Hoping it is a simple fix! Hoping once I fix this I can work out a way to get the info window displaying if I hover over the div in the html.

  • Google Maps 'API key' problem

    - by Decbrad
I finally got this google maps page working however, it seems that everybody except the client can see it? They're saying the following error message appears "This web site needs a different Google Maps API key. A new key can be generated at..." Here's the page: http://www.sportingemporium.com/google-map.htm When I sign-up for a new key Goggle gives me exactly the same one that I am already using! If anyone can shed any light on why I (and colleagues in many different countries) can see the map, but the client can't, it would be greatly appreiciated? Kind regards, Declan Bradley

  • Google Chrome never renders fonts properly / no smoothing etc

    - by Christian Ivicevic
A while ago I started using Chrome and no longer Firefox, however I found out something weird which maybe force me to return to Firefox if I can not fix this. I am coding a homepage and the output was in Chrome ugly, in Firefox not. I thought "ok this is maybe due to bad code"... however I found out that the same problems occurs on different sites like Facebook too. The font is not smoothed and it is not nice to read. Here is an example, although I have censored nearly everything... Bad Chrome Rendering Good Firefox Rendering You may need to open up in a new tab to see the errors in detail. Now I want to know, whether this is just Chrome trolling me or maybe something else. EDIT I tried it out under Ubuntu on my PC and it works well... seems to be an error on Windows/Chrome on Windows.

  • Change font size macvim?

    - by Alex
Hi there, I'm using macvim and I love it. I also happen to really like the default font. My question is: How do I change the font size in my .gvimrc? I want it to be bigger, without changing the font from the default. All the examples I've seen specify a font then a ':' then the size. So how do I just change the size not the font itself? Thanks!

  • JLabel not displaying all the characters even after dynamically changing font size

    - by wniroshan
Hi all, I am trying to fit a sentence that changes often, in to a few jlabels. Widths of my 3 jlabels stay unchanged all the time. What I am doing is changing the font size so all the characters can fit with out non being out of the display range of the labels. What I do is call below code snippet when ever sentence is changed. Here is my code String sentence = "Some long sentence"; int SentenceLength = sentence.length(); int FontSize = 0; // sum of widths of the three labels int TotalLblLength=lbl_0ValueInWords.getWidth()+lbl_1ValueInWords.getWidth()+lbl_1ValueInWords.getWidth(); /*decide the font size so that all the characters can be displayed with out exceeding the display renge(horizontal) of the 3 labels Inconsolata -> monopace font font size == width of the font*2 (something I observed, not sure if this is true always) */ FontSize=(TotalLblLength/SentenceLength)*2; // max font size is 20 - based on label height FontSize=(FontSize>20)?20:FontSize; lbl_0ValueInWords.setFont(new java.awt.Font("Inconsolata", 0,FontSize)); lbl_1ValueInWords.setFont(new java.awt.Font("Inconsolata", 0,FontSize)); lbl_2ValueInWords.setFont(new java.awt.Font("Inconsolata", 0,FontSize)); int CharCount_lbl0 = width_lbl0 / (FontSize / 2); int CharCount_lbl1 = width_lbl1 / (FontSize / 2); int CharsCount_lbl2 = width_lbl2 / (FontSize / 2); /*Set texts of each label if sentence has more than the number of characters that can fit in the 1st label, excessive characters are moved to the 2nd label. same goes for the 2nd and 3rd labels*/ if (SentenceLength > CharCount_lbl0) { lbl_0ValueInWords.setText(sentence.substring(0, CharCount_lbl0)); if (SentenceLength > CharCount_lbl0 + CharCount_lbl1) { lbl_1ValueInWords.setText(sentence.substring(CharCount_lbl0, CharCount_lbl0 + CharCount_lbl1)); lbl_2ValueInWords.setText(sentence.substring(CharCount_lbl0 + CharCount_lbl1, SentenceLength)); } else { lbl_1ValueInWords.setText(sentence.substring(CharCount_lbl0, SentenceLength)); } } else { lbl_0ValueInWords.setText(sentence); } But even after resetting font size sometimes the last character goes out of the display range. I have removed margines from the jlabels that may cause this. This happens for random length sentences. I can solve the problem for the application by reducing label width used for the calculations(hopefully) Can anyone explain me the reason? Could be because of some defect in the fonts symmetry?

  • Is it possible to expose an API for my own WebSite ... but use oAuth for the api authentication?

    - by Pure.Krome
Hi Folks, currently I expose an api for my website. Works great .. and i use Basic Authentication to authenticate users to get access to the data. eg. http://www.MyWebSite.com <-- main site. http://api.MyWebSite.com <-- my api website. sample api RESTful url http://user1:[email protected]/games?type=battlefield2 (yes yes i know browsers stop people from putting in user1:pass1 (Basic Auth) into the url directly .. cause of security . but it's to highlight that we're using Basic Auth)). So .. how can i do this with oAuth?

  • Google and Bing Map APIs Compared

    - by SGWellens
At one of the local golf courses I frequent, there is an open grass field next to the course. It is about eight acres in size and mowed regularly. It is permissible to hit golf balls there—you bring and shag our own balls. My golf colleagues and I spend hours there practicing, chatting and in general just wasting time. One of the guys brings Ginger, the amazing, incredible, wonder dog. Ginger is a Portuguese Pointer. She chases squirrels, begs for snacks and supervises us closely to make sure we don't misbehave. Anyway, I decided to make a dedicated web page to measure distances on the field in yards using online mapping services. I started with Google maps and then did the same application with Bing maps. It is a good way to become familiar with the APIs. Here are images of the final two maps: Google: Bing: To start with online mapping services, you need to visit the respective websites and get a developers key. I pared the code down to the minimum to make it easier to compare the APIs. Google maps required this CSS (or it wouldn't work): html { height: 100%; } body { height: 100%; margin: 0; padding: 0; } Here is how the map scripts are included. Google requires the developer Key when loading the JavaScript, Bing requires it when the map object is created: Google: Bing: Note: I use jQuery to manipulate the DOM elements which may be overkill, but I may add more stuff to this application and I didn't want to have to add it later. Plus, I really like jQuery. Here is how the maps are created: Common Code (the same for both Google and Bing Maps): Bing: Note: I use jQuery to manipulate the DOM elements which may be overkill, but I may add more stuff to this application and I didn't want to have to add it later. Plus, I really like jQuery. Here is how the maps are created: Common Code (the same for both Google and Bing Maps): var gTheMap; var gMarker1; var gMarker2; $(document).ready(DocLoaded); function DocLoaded() { // golf course coordinates var StartLat = 44.924254; var StartLng = -93.366859; // what element to display the map in var mapdiv = $("#map_div")[0]; Google: // where on earth the map should display var StartPoint = new google.maps.LatLng(StartLat, StartLng); // create the map gTheMap = new google.maps.Map(mapdiv, { center: StartPoint, zoom: 18, mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.SATELLITE }); // place two markers marker1 = PlaceMarker(new google.maps.LatLng(StartLat, StartLng + .0001)); marker2 = PlaceMarker(new google.maps.LatLng(StartLat, StartLng - .0001)); DragEnd(null); } Bing: // where on earth the map should display var StartPoint = new Microsoft.Maps.Location(StartLat, StartLng); // create the map gTheMap = new Microsoft.Maps.Map(mapdiv, { credentials: 'XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX', center: StartPoint, zoom: 18, mapTypeId: Microsoft.Maps.MapTypeId.aerial }); // place two markers marker1 = PlaceMarker(new Microsoft.Maps.Location(StartLat, StartLng + .0001)); marker2 = PlaceMarker(new Microsoft.Maps.Location(StartLat, StartLng - .0001)); DragEnd(null); } Note: In the Bing documentation, mapTypeId: was missing from the list of options even though the sample code included it. Note: When creating the Bing map, use the developer Key for the credentials property. I immediately place two markers/pins on the map which is simpler that creating them on the fly with mouse clicks (as I first tried). The markers/pins are draggable and I capture the DragEnd event to calculate and display the distance in yards and draw a line when the user finishes dragging. Here is the code to place a marker: Google: // ---- PlaceMarker ------------------------------------ function PlaceMarker(location) { var marker = new google.maps.Marker( { position: location, map: gTheMap, draggable: true }); marker.addListener('dragend', DragEnd); return marker; } Bing: // ---- PlaceMarker ------------------------------------ function PlaceMarker(location) { var marker = new Microsoft.Maps.Pushpin(location, { draggable : true }); Microsoft.Maps.Events.addHandler(marker, 'dragend', DragEnd); gTheMap.entities.push(marker); return marker; } Here is the code than runs when the user stops dragging a marker: Google: // ---- DragEnd ------------------------------------------- var gLine = null; function DragEnd(Event) { var meters = google.maps.geometry.spherical.computeDistanceBetween(marker1.position, marker2.position); var yards = meters * 1.0936133; $("#message").text(yards.toFixed(1) + ' yards'); // draw a line connecting the points var Endpoints = [marker1.position, marker2.position]; if (gLine == null) { gLine = new google.maps.Polyline({ path: Endpoints, strokeColor: "#FFFF00", strokeOpacity: 1.0, strokeWeight: 2, map: gTheMap }); } else gLine.setPath(Endpoints); } Bing: // ---- DragEnd ------------------------------------------- var gLine = null; function DragEnd(Args) { var Distance = CalculateDistance(marker1._location, marker2._location); $("#message").text(Distance.toFixed(1) + ' yards'); // draw a line connecting the points var Endpoints = [marker1._location, marker2._location]; if (gLine == null) { gLine = new Microsoft.Maps.Polyline(Endpoints, { strokeColor: new Microsoft.Maps.Color(0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF, 0), // aRGB strokeThickness : 2 }); gTheMap.entities.push(gLine); } else gLine.setLocations(Endpoints); } Note: I couldn't find a function to calculate the distance between points in the Bing API, so I wrote my own (CalculateDistance). If you want to see the source for it, you can pick it off the web page. Note: I was able to verify the accuracy of the measurements by using the golf hole next to the field. I put a pin/marker on the center of the green, and then by zooming in, I was able to see the 150 markers on the fairway and put the other pin/marker on one of them. Final Notes: All in all, the APIs are very similar. Both made it easy to accomplish a lot with a minimum amount of code. In one aerial view, there are leaves on the tree, in the other, the trees are bare. I don't know which service has the newer data. • n900 - SIP - Google Voice - DTMF

    - by Walter White
Hi all, I've been using Google Voice on my n900 and it works reasonably well, but DTMF tones do not work whatsoever. According to this page, it is fixed and has been for quite some time. https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5505 Has anyone had any luck with SIP on the n900 and DTMF tones? An earlier version of Skype on the n900 didn't support DTMF, but that was fixed. I would have thought this bug would have been fixed for some time now. Thanks, Walter

  • Firefox/Google Chrome extension to darken pages & reduce eye strain

    - by megafish
Is there an extension or add-on like Stylish which lets you easily toggle back and forth between affected (Stylish) and standard (or untainted) view? I've tried changing colors in Firefox (Settings Content Colors) but there is no quick toggle between the states. Firefox or Google Chrome, whichever one has the extension. Doesn't matter since I'll switch to using that as my primary development browser.
