Ideas for how to structure a developer class/course? [on hold]
- by Andy
Let's say I need to teach a 3-8 week course in programming/development at a technical school (no kids) (regardless of language or technology and the target audience is beginners).
I need ideas to make it a awesome class where I :
Maximize the students learning and experience
Make sure they don't fall a sleep
Engage the students
Make it exciting!
I can always do traditional lecture+exercises and repeat this pattern over and over, but I think this is to old-school.
Things I have considered to add to the course are:
- Require pair programming
- Code-review together with the students
I would like suggestions on how to make a modern training class state really awesome?
