We have reasons to beleive that your account may have been accessed by someone else. Please run attached file and Follow instructions. My question is how to save an attachment into the file system from the source. For example, if I isolate the section below, how do I need to process it before saving it into a gif file to create a valid gif? I assume I need to change the encoding, or otherwise process it, but does anyone know exactly? • Out of memory exception during scrolling of listview

  I am using facebook data like postedpicture,profile picture,name,message in my listview.I am getting an OOM error while doing fast scrolling of listview. I am also having scrollviewlistener in my application that loads more data when the scrollbar reaches the bottom of the screen.I just want to know whether I need to change anything in this class. imageLoader.DisplayImage(postimage.get(position).replace(" ", "%20"), postimg) ; I am using the above line to call the method in this imageloader class to set the bitmap to imageview. • Why Java servlet can't get Paypal IPN messages everytime ?

  I have a Java servlet running on my notebook with Windows Vista, I set up a static IP, did port forwarding and registered for a free DDNS service, now my servlet is running, I gave the url to Paypal to send me IPN messages, I went on to it's sandbox site got to the test tools page, tried to send test messages by clicking the "Send IPN" button, most of the time it would fail, the error is : "IPN delivery failed. Unable to connect to the specified URL. Please verify the URL and try again." But maybe 1 in 10 times, it might be successful and my servlet would get the message, and I looked at the messages I got, they are in correct format. So I called Paypal asking why, he said I shouldn't run the servlet on my notebook, in stead I should run it on the web server, but I told him my ISP doesn't support Java on their server, and since I did all the above steps, shouldn't it be the same to run the servlet on my notebook ? He said his test showed he couldn't get to my servlet, but I asked why maybe 1 in 10 times it could get through ? If there is something wrong with running it on my notebook, then 100% times it should fail, am I correct on this point ? But anyway he said that's all he could do, and I should troubleshoot it myself.   I'm running on a Mac (version 10.6.3) and am struggling to understand what is going on with my Perl installation. I let the system do a copy from my previous mac, and I appear to have a second perl installed, which appears earlier in my path. I can't tell (or remember) if I might have installed it with fink, macports or CPAN or what. type -a cpan cpan is /opt/local/bin/cpan cpan is /usr/bin/cpan I'm seeing two oddities. (To start with!) When I run cpan, and let it configure in ~lcuff/.cpan, each time I run it, it wants to reconfigure, giving the message: Sorry, we have to rerun the configuration dialog for CPAN.pm due to some missing parameters... • Configure Windows firewall to prevent an application from listening on a specific port [closed]

  The issue: there are many applications struggling to listen on port 80 (Skype, Teamviewer et al.), and to many of them that even is not essential (in the sense that you can have a httpd running and blocking the http port, and the other application won't even squeak about being unable to open the port). What makes things worse, some of the apps are... Well, I suppose, that it's okay that the mentally impaired are being integrated in the society by giving them a job to do, but... Programming requires some intellectual effort, in my humble opinion... What I mean is that there is no way to configure the app not to use specific ports (that's what you get for using proprietary software) - you can either add it to windows firewall exceptions (and succumb to undesired port opening behavior) or not (and risk losing most - if not all - of the functionality). Technically, it is not impossible for the firewall to deny an application opening an incoming port even if the application is in the exception list. And if this functionality is built into the Windows firewall somewhere, there should be a way to activate it. So, what I want to know is: whether there exists such an option, and if it does how to activate it.

• Am I Writing Assembly Or NASM?

  I'm fed up with this. I've been trying to just get a grip on assembly for awhile, but I feel like I'm coding towards my compiler rather than a language. I've been using this tutorial, and so far it's giving me hell. I'm using NASM, which may be the problem, but I figured it was the most popular one. I'm simply trying to learn the most general form of assembly, so I decided to learn x86. I keep running into stupid errors, like not being able to increment a variable. • Algorithm possible amounts (over)paid for a specific price, based on denominations

  In a current project, people can order goods delivered to their door and choose 'pay on delivery' as a payment option. To make sure the delivery guy has enough change customers are asked to input the amount they will pay (e.g. delivery is 48,13, they will pay with 60,- (3*20,-)). Now, if it were up to me I'd make it a free field, but apparantly higher-ups have decided is should be a selection based on available denominations, without giving amounts that would result in a set of denominations which could be smaller. Example: denominations = [1,2,5,10,20,50] price = 78.12 possibilities: 79 (multitude of options), 80 (e.g. 4*20) 90 (e.g. 50+2*20) 100 (2*50) It's international, so the denominations could change, and the algorithm should be based on that list. The closest I have come which seems to work is this: for all denominations in reversed order (large=>small) add ceil(price/denomination) * denomination to possibles baseprice = floor(price/denomination) * denomination; for all smaller denominations as subdenomination in reversed order add baseprice + (ceil((price - baseprice) / subdenomination) * subdenomination) to possibles end for end for remove doubles sort Is seems to work, but this has emerged after wildly trying all kinds of compact algorithms, and I cannot defend why it works, which could lead to some edge-case / new countries getting wrong options, and it does generate some serious amounts of doubles. As this is probably not a new problem, and Google et al. could not provide me with an answer save for loads of pages calculating how to make exact change, I thought I'd ask SO: have you solved this problem before? Which algorithm? Any proof it will always work?

• Problem storing a hash in DB using Storable::nfreeze in Perl

  I want to insert a hash in the db using Storable::nfreeze but the data is not inserted properly. My code is as follows: %rec=(); $rec{'name'} = 'my name'; $rec{'address'} = 'my address'; my $order1 = new Order(); $order1->set_session(\%rec); $self->createOrder($order1); sub createOrder { my $self = $_[0]; my $order = $_[1]; # Retrieve the fields to insert into the database. my $st = $dbh->prepare("insert into order (session,.......) values(?,........)"); my $session = %{$order->get_session()}; $st->execute(&Storable::nfreeze(\%session),.....); $st->finish(); } sub getOrder { ... my $session = &Storable::thaw( $ref->{'session'} ); ..... } The thaw is working fine because I tested it withe some rows that have been inserted correctly, but when I try to get a row that was inserted using the createOrder subroutine, I get an error saying: Storable binary image v36.65 more recent than I am (v2.7) at blib/lib/Storable.pm (autosplit into blib/lib/auto/Storable/thaw.al) line 415 The error comes from the line that have thaw. The nfreeze did not store the hash properly. Can someone point me to what I'm doing wrong in the createOrder subroutine? I know the module version have nothing to do with the problem.

• Python - Why use anything other than uuid4() for unique strings?

  I see quit a few implementations of unique string generation for things like uploaded image names, session IDs, et al, and many of them employ the usage of hashes like SHA1, or others. I'm not questioning the legitimacy of using custom methods like this, but rather just the reason. If I want a unique string, I just say this: >>> import uuid >>> uuid.uuid4() 07033084-5cfd-4812-90a4-e4d24ffb6e3d And I'm done with it. I wasn't very trusting before I read up on uuid, so I did this: >>> import uuid >>> s = set() >>> for i in range(5000000): # That's 5 million! >>> s.add(uuid.uuid4()) ... ... >>> len(s) 5000000 Not one repeater (I didn't expect one considering the odds are like 1.108e+50, but it's comforting to see it in action). You could even half the odds by just making your string by combining 2 uuid4()s. So, with that said, why do people spend time on random() and other stuff for unique strings, etc? Is there an important security issue or other regarding uuid?

• firefox lead dot in cookie issue

  Hi all, We are having an annoying issue with Firefox and cookies. We have the following domains: sub1.mydomain.com sub2.mydomain.com sub3.mydomain.com otherdomain.com We have converting our framework to be multilingual and providing a drop down to change the language at any point during site. The code base is shared across all the domains above. We can not set a cookie across all "mydomain.com" sites, they have to be on each of the sub domains. To get this to work we set a JavaScript cookie when the users chooses a new language. When the page posts back to the server the code picks this up and sets the users preferences to that new language code, (this is all C# and ASP.NET). We have to set the host to be "subX.mydomain.com" and the path to be "/" in the cookie so that it is just for the subdomain and all parts of that domain. This works great on all browsers apart from FireFox. It seems that firefox will pre append a DOT to the beginning of domain so ".subX.mydomain.com". When the code posts back with FireFox the cookie is always null. Has anyone had this situation, (I imagine it is not al that uncommon). I have read a lot of people saying, remove the domain from the cookie, but that can not work for us as we have multiple subdomains that need their own cookie values. Thanks

However, the login view does not display the users name. i actually cant figure out how to pass the users name that i had picked from the database to the login name control to be displayed. taking a close look i also noticed the logout text that should be displayed after successful log in does not show. that leaves me wondering if the loggedin template control on the masterpage even fires at all or its still the anonymous template control that keeps displaying.? How do i get this to work as expected? Please help....

  Hello, I want to insert a hash in the db using Storage::nfreeze but the data is not inserted properly. the code is as follow: %rec=(); $rec{'name'} = 'my name'; $rec{'address'} = 'my address'; my $order1 = new Order(); $order1->set_session(\%rec); $self->createOrder($order1); sub createOrder { my $self = $_[0]; my $order = $_[1]; # Retrieve the fields to insert into the database. my $st = $dbh->prepare("insert into order (session,.......) values(?,........)"); my $session = %{$order->get_session()}; $st->execute(&Storable::nfreeze(\%session),.....); $st->finish(); } sub getOrder { ... my $session = &Storable::thaw( $ref->{'session'} ); ..... } the thaw is working fine because I tested it withe some rows that have been inserted correctly. but when I try to get a row that was inserted using the createOrder subroutine, I get an error saying" Storable binary image v36.65 more recent than I am (v2.7) at blib/lib/Storable.pm (autosplit into blib/lib/auto/Storable/thaw.al) line 415 the error comes from the line that have thaw. the nfreeze did not store the hash properly. Can someone point me to what i m doing wrong in the createOrder subroutine? Thanks in advance. I know the module version have nothing to do with the problem.
