    I'm using http://json.codeplex.com library.Im trying to convert XML to JSON and vice-versa. However they have an example,using "JsonConvert" class XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument(); doc.LoadXml(xml); string jsonText = JsonConvert.SerializeXmlNode(doc); I cant find "JsonConvert" in namespace "Newtonsoft.Json".Only class i've found is "JavaScriptConvert". Any ideas?

    My boyfriend does coding (Rails/C?/PHP) for a job and I don't know what he would appreciate on our first anniversary. Does anyone have any ideas? Yes, he's stereotypical geek, but I'd rather not give a pack of Bawls for an anniversary gift. He dislikes going anywhere, so "experiences" like going to an event are out. Maybe I should just have a giant LAN party in the house.

    Hi I have a piece of code that does not seem to do what it is expected to do. VBA Arrays are mutable by all means, but it seems that when they are stored into a Dictionary as values of some keys, they are not mutable anymore. Any ideas?   • iPhone: Compressing .app files in command line (Mac OS X) removes CodeSigning

    I am trying to do a simple build automation of my iPhone apps with TeamCity, but having this nagging issue.. When I manually pickup and install .app file from the build folder it works great (syncs smoothly with iTunes and I can see the app on my phone) But when I try to zip this with /bin/zip or ditto...then the zipped contents loose the CodeSigning (iTunes says that it cannot install this app because its not signed) I have tried different combinations of these.. ditto -ck --rsrc --keepParent HelloWorld.app HelloWorld.zip Any more ideas?

  • MKMapView Not Loading When Called on an NSThread?

    I am creating a MKMapView in a method named "generateMap". From inside viewDidLoad, this works: [self generateMap]; but this causes the map to quickly load and then disappear, leaving only the blank grey grid: [NSThread detachNewThreadSelector:@selector(spinTheSpinner) toTarget:self withObject:nil]; Any ideas why this might be happening when I call the method through a thread?

    I'm using a custom pixel font on the iPad SDK, and I'm trying to find a way to disable font anti-aliasing for UIFont. Pixel fonts usually work best when they don't have Anti-aliasing. I disable it easily in Photoshop when I create static resources, but this time I need a dynamic output with the custom font. Any ideas? Thanks.

    I'm trying to design a database to record game histories for a game I'm working on. I have 3 different tables: users, gamehistories, and gamescores. Columns for tables: users: uid, displayname, email gamehistories: gid, pubID, start (datetime), end (datetime) gamescores: gid, uid, score I am trying to produce the following result set given a userID (uid): Opponent's displayname, my score, opponent's score, duration Any ideas? Is my design ok? How can I query these tables to get game histories for a given uid?

    Why does this line of code <TextBlock Text="{Binding Net, StringFormat=c}"/> Output the result as $xx.xx when all my regional settings are set to UK. I expect it to output it as £xx.xx. Any ideas? I have tried different variations of the stringformat including StringFormat={}{0:C} but still get the same result. Thanks for looking.

    Hi I'm currently developing a cross-plataform virtual keyboard. In linux i was able to do whatever i want, but in Windows i'm having problems to prevent the widget to obtain the keyboard focus. In linux, using the window flag Qt::X11BypassWindowManagerHint the widget never gets the keyboard input, but of course, that flag does not work on Windows Is there something equivalent to that flag or some method i can use instead? any ideas would be appreciated thanks in advance

The following works: $category = ORM::factory('category')->join_table('product'); But this doesn't: $category = ORM::factory('category'); $category->join_table('product'); The documentation uses the second as an example, but it returns 0 while the first example returns "categories_products" which is correct. Any ideas?

I'm looking for an algorithm which would be able to generate the coordinates of all points given the count of them.     Hi all! Do you have any idea how to covert different Unicode characters to their closest ASCII equivalents? Like Ä - A. A googled but didn't find any suitable solution. Trick Encoding.ASCII.GetBytes("Ä")[0] didn't work. (Result was ?). I found that there is class Encoder that has Fallback property that is exactly for cases when char can't be converted, but implementations (EncoderReplacementFallback) are stupid and convert to ?.     Hey guys, I'm almost finished developing my large project, however I would love it if I could make it so instead of having the users profile pages at: http://example.com/profile/username/USERNAME (i'm currently using .htaccess to rewrite the GET data into forward slashes and profile(.php) being read as just 'profile' profile.php also parses the url correctly to retrieve the GET data) But it would be some much better if I could do it so that it's like http://www.example.com/USERNAME (preferred) or http://www.USERNAME.example.com Any ideas or resources?
