• important question on Android 2.2

  Hi guys, I've just updated my nexus one to 2.2...now all of my (own and some from the market) apps throw exceptions and were closed... It's weird, in the app i'm developing atm, there it displays only my start page with buttons, but when i tap on one button to fire an intent to another activity my app gets closed with an exception. Yesterday before the update everything worked fine... The same thing in my emulator: I have two devices, one with API level 7 and one with level 8...Level 7 worked fine, but level 8 killed my app :( What is the problem and how can I solve this? I'm desperatly trying to get it working again :( I hope someone can help me fixing this

• Wordpress meta data is written on top of page instead of the loop

  i'm building a wordpress webpage based on the Skeleton Wordpress theme. I have 2 posts showing on a page and each of these posts have custom fields values (meta data). Im using the shortcode from the skeleton theme to get a post-feed from a specific category and in that loop i have inserted this tag that displays the custom fields data <?php the_meta(); ?> I am getting the data - but the problem is, the data is shown on TOP of the page instead of inside the in the post. What could've ive possibly done wrong? or is it something with skeleton i am doing wrong? I can tweak my PHP code but I think the operation would be way simpler if I could just retrieve the rows in such an order that all parents come before their children. I could do that if I knew the level for each node: SELECT category_id, category_name, parent_id FROM category ORDER BY level -- No `level` column so far :( Can you think of a way (view, stored routine or whatever...) to calculate the node level? I guess it's okay if it's not real-time and I need to recalculate it on node modification.

  Hello I would need to get tweets from my twitter account on my wordpress site. Okey, the basics i could do, but there is one special need. I would need to get only certain tweets. Tweets that have some #hashstag for example only tweets with hashtag #myss would show up on my wordpress site. Is there ready made plugin for this? I have been googlein for hours but have found only basic/normal twitter plugins. Also i would need to able style the feed to look same as my current site. Cheers!

  I have a partial view that is rendered within a main view. The partial view takes advantage of System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations and Html.EnableClientValidation(). A link is clicked, and div containing the partial view is displayed within a JQuery.Dialog(). I then click the save button without entering any text in my validated input field. This causes the client side validation to fire as expected, and display the '*required' message beside the invalid field. When the cancel button is clicked, I want to reset the client side MVC validation back to it's default state and remove any messages, ready for when the user opens the dialog again. Is there a recommended way of doing this?

• How do I execute an action in drupal after each time a node is saved?

  I'm developing an Action in Drupal which is supposed to activate after saving a node, exporting content to XML (which includes data from the node that was just saved), using the "Trigger: After saving an updated post" trigger. Unfortunately this action actually happens right before the information from the recently saved post is saved to the database. ie. when looking at the XML later, I find that the most recent change I made was not included. Saving after editing a different node will restore the previously missing data. How can I get my action to fire after the saving process is complete?

  Here is my situation and my constraints: I am using Java 5, JDBC, and DB2 9.5 My database table contains a BIGINT value which represents the primary key. For various reasons that are too complicated to go into here, the way I insert records into the table is by executing an insert against a VIEW; an INSTEAD OF trigger retrieves the NEXT_VAL from a SEQUENCE and performs the INSERT into the target table. I can change the triggers, but I cannot change the underlying table or the general approach of inserting through the view. I want to retrieve the sequence value from JDBC as if it were a generated key. Question: How can I get access to the value pulled from the SEQUENCE. Is there some message I can fire within DB2 to float this sequence value back to the JDBC driver?

  I am trying to redirect an old website that was on Godaddy's website builder and Quick Blogcast to a new site on Wordpress. I have no problems redirecting from the old page structure to the new one. For example: For example: http://sapientservicesllc.com/About_Us.html redirected to http://sapientservicesllc.com/about-us/ I used: 301 redirect /About_Us.html http://sapientservicesllc.com/about-us/ In the htaccess file. My problem is that I need to redirect all of the blog posts that were on a subdomain to the new wordpress site.   I am reading a txt file for strings that represent integers. The file is space delimited. I have created an array[10,2]. Everytime the strings 1~10 is found in the file I increment array[n,0] by 1. I also feed array[n,1] with numbers 1~10. i.e. txt file contents: 1/1/1 10/1/2001 1 1 10 2 2 3 1 5 10 word word 3 3 etc.. streamreader reads 1/1/1 and determines that is is not 1~10 streamreader reads 10/1/2001 and determines that it is not 1~10 streamreader reads 1 and ++array[0,0] streamreader reads 1 and ++array[0,0] streamreader reads 10 and ++array[9,0] etc.. The result will be: '1' was found 3 times '2' was found 2 times '3' was found 3 times '5' was found 1 time '10' was found 2 times My problem is that I need this array placed in order(sorted) by value of column 0 so that it would be: 1 3 2 10 5

• [.net] Treeview prevent Node collapse (weird problem)

  Hey guyz! I have a .net 2.0 C# Project. I have a Treeview with 2 Nodes, each of them has many child nodes. When you click on a child node, a PDF is displayed in a webbrowser control depending on the properties of the node. Fine, but the problem is that when both Nodes are expanded, and I click on a child node, the other node gets collapsed! I don't have any code that collapses any node of the treeview, but somehow it happens! I also had a look at the BeforeCollapse Event, but somehow it doesn't fire, alltough the other node collapses! Can anyone imagine why this happens? I would be very grateful if anyone can teach me how to prevent this happening! Thank you very much!

• Limiting Subscriptions to be emailed using SSRS

  Currently, our system will do a "foreach" over all Subscriptions which are returned from the ListSubscriptions method of ReportingService and fire a Timed Subscription event so that they receive the report as an email. In our dev environment, I don't want every subscription of these reports to be sent out when we are testing. Is there a way I can create a new subscription with my own email address being used so that I receive the report? The temp subscription could then be deleted after sending. Any ideas on how to do this?

  I have an encryption algorithm (AES) that accepts file converted to array byte and encrypt it. Since I am going to process a very big size files, the JVM may go out of memory. I am planing to read the files in multiple array byte. each containing some part of the file. Then I teratively feed the algorithm. Finally merge them to produce encrypted file. So my question is: there any way to read a file part by part to multiple array byte? I thought I can use the following to read the file to array byte: IOUtils.toByteArray(InputStream input). And then split the array into multiple bytes using: Arrays.copyOfRange(). But I am afraid that the first code that reads file to byte will make the JVM to go out of memory. any suggestion please ? thanks

Now for my question: Does anyone know how I can dump the terminal to a file and save it on the phone or sdcard? The program is tying into the terminal to feed it commands, I want to know a way to open a connection the otherway and access the (what is normally visual on a terminal screen) output.

  Hi I am having trouble with the onmouseout function in a absolute positoned div. When the mouse hits a child element in the div, the mouseout event fires, but I do not want it to fire until the mouse is out of the parent, absolute div. How can I prevent the mouseout event from firing when it hits a child element WITHOUT jquery. I know this has something to do with event bubbling, but I am having no luck on finding out how to work this out. • Pass off execution to different/specific thread in Java

  I have about 4 threads. One thread keeps checking some data that the other thread is updating. The others are doing some processing in the background. All have been started at this point. My question is when the checking thread sees that the data has not been updated yet I currently sleep for a little bit but is there any way for me to tell the system to back to executing the thread that does the updating? That or is there any way I can put something like a listener on the data(a String) and once its updated an event will fire that will do what it needs to do? I tried using yield() and it seemed to just keep returning to the thread I called yield() from. Thanks

• Load big XML files to mySQL database (PHP)

  Hello There, For a new project I need to load big XML files (200MB+) to a mySQL database. There are +- 20 feeds i need to match with that (not all fields are the same). Now when i want to catch the XML I get this error: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 171296569 bytes) in E:\UsbWebserver\Root\****\application\libraries\MY_xml.php on line 21 Is there an easy solution for this? It's not possible to get te feed in parts of a few MB's each. Thank you very much! P.s. has somebody an idea to match xml-feeds easy?

• Removing the default <a href> action

  Is there any way to stop the page from loading the next page when someone clicks on a <a> tag instead i want it to give the href value so for example "www.google.com" and then do a jquery .load() which is like this $(".window").load(hrefvalue); i know i could just change all the href values to fire up a javascript function but that takes a bit of time so im just looking for the easiest way. so i want it to do stop the page loading the next part on a <a href click. get the href value e.g http://www.google.com. and then do a jquery (.load() or $.ajax()) call for the href page.
