  • How to prevent Firefox from putting shadows around input boxes which have had their background colou

    Hi there, I'm creating a set of input fields and using javascript's .style.backgroundColor = "red" to change the colour of any invalid fields. In Chrome, there is no problem. However, in Firefox, as soon as I touch the backgroundColor (even if I set it to white) then I get these strange shadow effects.     I want to add a WHERE clause to a full text search query (to limit to past 24 hours), but wherever I insert it I get Low Level Error. Is it possible to add the clause and if so, how?   • YouTube .Net API - Not getting correct View Counts

    I've managed to plug away through the YouTube documentation, and have managed to successfully implement the majority of what I want to work. My question is, I get the video View count and it comes back lower than the actual video on YouTube. It was fine this morning and both showed correctly, but now my version is out by 4 views. Does anyone have any experience with this? Or can tell me if they update the values every 5/10/15/24 hours?

    Sometimes I want a filename instead of what zsh guesses for me. For example, I have a PNG file without a proper .png suffix, which makes zsh think it isn't a picture and won't list it when I type Tab to complete arguments of display. I am wondering if there is a key sequence that completes for a filename wherever the context is, like ^XC for _correct_filename, or how to configure zsh to do the thing?

    Using the pysnmp framework i get some values doing a snmp walk. Unfortunately for the oid 1.3.6.1.21.69.1.5.8.1.2 (DOCS-CABLE-DEVICE-MIB) i get a weird result which i cant correctly print here since it contains ascii chars like BEL ACK When doing a repr i get: OctetString('\x07\xd8\t\x17\x03\x184\x00') But the output should look like: 2008-9-23,3:24:52.0 the format is called "DateAndTime". How can i translate the OctetString output to a "human readable" date/time ?

  • Different positioning in Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari?

    Hello, I believe this question has been asked a lot of times, and I have managed to overcome this problem before whenever it occurred. Just now, I feel stuck with it and can't find a proper solution to make it work in all browsers: it does work properly only in Firefox, while in IE and Safari its elements are somehow apart from each other.
