Hi, I have a web application with bunch of HTML code. There are some style-attributes that I can't get rid of, but I was wondering if it's worth the cleanness to get rid of class-names and use CSS selectors instead. Do CSS selectors perform slowly?

Can XmlMassUpdate be used to delete an attribute?

For example, I have this line: <forms loginUrl="/redirecttosignin.aspx" name="NAME_HERE" requireSSL="false" timeout="60" domain=".blah.com" /> And I want to delete the "name" attribute altogether. I know I can do this to blank it: <forms xmu:key="loginUrl" loginUrl="/redirecttosignin.aspx" name="" /> But, I literally want to get the name attribute out, and leave the other attributes in tact. Couldn't find any examples of that. Thanks!

You can supply a PATH (directory name only) in the Visual Studio "Build Options". But where can a file name be specified?

Changing the appearance of a custom android checkbox without the image scaling?

I have a custom checkbox with these attributes: android:id="@+id/map_toolbar_details" android:layout_width="80px" android:layout_height="106px" android:scaleType="center" macro:selectedResource="@drawable/map_toolbar_details_selected" android:button="@drawable/map_toolbar_details" When I load it up, the image gets stretched, even though it's set to scaleType center. If I set a background, I do not have this problem.

DataForm Control like in SL3 for WPF

Hi Im looking for a control like the DataForm which is new in Silverlight 3 for handling the whole binding and validation logic (declarativly with property attributes etc) for WPF. I always thout of SL as a subset of WPF but there seems to bee no DataForm control, at least not in the System.Windows.Controls namespace like in SL (I know SL uses another CLR) Have i overlooked something? What is the best way to set a database entry so that it expires after n hours using Ruby/Rails?

My app has a token model as such: class Token < ActiveRecord::Base # The model include a few attributes including created_at end I want entries linked to this model to expire after 6 hours, meaning that they should get automatically deleted. I know that I could set a cronjob or something similar to do this, but isn't there a better/simpler way? Note: I'm using Rails 3.0.0beta3, mysql (in dev) and postgres (in prod)

How do you specify a redirect URL for the adobe flash express install? I'm using swfobject 2.2, and while I thought MMredirectURL in the flashvars might be what I needed, this just doesn't work. I also tried setting redirectUrl in the attributes object before embedding the swf, but this doesn't work either. What is the proper way to specify a redirect URL to go through after the Express Install occurs with swfobject 2.2?

In WPF, What is the best way to create toolbar buttons so that the images are properly scaled?

Specifically, I'm looking to use the 16*16 32-bit png images included with the VS2008ImageLibrary. I've tried manually setting the Height and Width attributes of the image, adjusting margins and padding, adjusting Stretch and RenderOptions. My attempts to create toolbar buttons have all led to either Improper Scaling (blurry icons), the bottom row of pixels on the icon being truncated, or the toolbar button being improperly sized - not to mention the disappearing icons already mentioned Here. Has anyone found the best way to make standard, VisualStudio/WinForms-style toolbar buttons that display properly in WPF?

Custom title bar without padding (Android)

So I am using the techniques in this thread to use a custom background for my titlebar. Unfortunately the framework places my layout inside a FrameLayout which has padding and so the image doesn't cover the whole bar, but instead has gray borderes. Is there anyway to remove this padding? I can't just set the padding attributes because I do not create the frame layout.

Is there a way to clean this up, say with a named template for bicycle fields, for wheel fields and for reflector fields? In the real world example this is based on, there are many more attributes to a "bicycle" than just color, and I want to make this XSL easy to change to include or exclude fields without having to change the XSL in multiple places.
