    Hello everybody, I try to find out, how to access the Effect-Class and it's decendants of GDI+ in C#. Especially, I'm interested in these: * Blur * Sharpen * Tint * RedEyeCorrection * ColorMatrixEffect * ColorLUT * BrightnessContrast * HueSaturationLightness * ColorBalance * Levels * ColorCurve Can anybody give me a hint, how to access them in C#? I even can't find them in the .net documentation. Do I have to access the gdilus.dll directory? Ciao! Christian

    Hi All, I was trying to upload large size file on Sharepoint. And got following code sample (i.e FrontPage RPC (Remote Procedure Calls)) I am not getting use of "put document: 12.0.0.4518" and "string serviceName = "http://servername/sitename/_vti_bin/_vti_aut/author.dll";". I have worked on code but it is showing " Response time Out" error. But since i can't understand the code.It is not possible for me to solve this or any future problem.

    Well, the rule "For money, always decimal" isn't applied inside the Microsoft development team, because if it was: Namespace: Microsoft.VisualBasic Assembly: Microsoft.VisualBasic (in Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll) Financial.IPmt and all the other methods would receive/return decimal and not double as it is. Now I wonder if I can use this methods without worry with round mistakes? Should I use some other libraries to work with finances? If yes, could you point me some good ones (for C# use) ? Thank you.

  • What's the point of delay signing of an .NET assembly?

    I noticed that after I use AssemblyDelaySignAttribute to indicate that an assembly is in development and does not need to be signed now, I'll have to use sn -Vr foolib.dll to register for strong name verification to be turned off for this assembly. What's the point of doing this circle? Why not just leave the assembly unsigned until it's fully done? Isn't that less bothering?

After installing the addin one of the user's outlook crashes when a contact is opened, i.e, when ItemProperties of the contact are read.Some theses properties are read using MAPI.There is no exception being logged even though we have try/catch and logging in all methods.     Is there a simple way to recursively find all files in a directory hierarchy, that do not end in a list of extensions? E.g. all files that are not *.dll or *.exe UNIX/GNU find, powerful as it is, doesn't seem to have an exclude mode (or I'm missing it), and I've always found it hard to use regular expressions to find things that don't match a particular expression. I'm in a Windows environment (using the GnuWin32 port of most GNU tools), so I'm equally open for Windows-only solutions.

    I have a class library(abc.dll) in which i have used a settings file. An exe (app.exe) references this class library. At runtime if i want to change the values of the settings without having to rebuild the class library/application, what is the best way to approach this problem ? In my current approach the setting values get embeded in the library, and thus i dont see any way to update them without rebuilding the whole thing.

    When I run my asp.net mvc 2 site (shared hosting) I get the following error: Method not found: 'Void System.Web.Mvc.DataAnnotationsModelValidatorProvider.set_AddImplicitRequiredAttributeForValueTypes(Boolean)'. In the bin directory I have System.Web.Mvc.dll version 2.0.50217.0 On my local dev machine it runs fine. Is it possible that if the hosting provider has a different mvc 2 version installed it would cause this error? Thank you!

If I want to add classes from a new dll that didn't exist when I compiled the project, there is any way to do that without recompiling?
