  • Is it possible to use the WP7 Panorama or Pivot in SL4?

    I'm making pretty heavy use of the Panorama and Pivot controls in my WP7 applications. Is it possible to use these same controls in a standard Silverlight (4) application? http://phone.codeplex.com/ I added the dll's, was able to compile and create the controls in my views. However; I was not able to "Scroll". I thought they used the "LeftMouseDown" event handlers but I guess I'm wrong.

    I need a copy of the Myriad-Roman font that is the default font for Adobe Illustrator. I have Illustrator installed but I need to put the font on my sever so my PDF DLL can read the font since my PDF is using that Myriad-Roman font. Please don't get distracted about the PDF part - I just need to know how to find the font wherever Adobe installs it when I install Illustrator (CS5). TIA!

    We have a usb device and the drivers (.inf, libusb.dll, libusb.sys) and can install it using Windows' Device Installation Wizard (by pointing to the .inf file). However, we need to install the drivers without using the wizard (passively, so the user doesn't need to do anything). Does anyone know how this can be achieved?

I'm trying to add a custom field to sort and I basically want to re-sort after the initial sort. I don't know if this can be done but before the GridView is displayed, I need to intercept the code and sort the way I want to sort. Any ideas? I'm lost.

    Hi, I've downloaded the dll's for ImageMagick and am wondering if anybody knows of some example code to accomplish a simple task: I have generated an image in C++ and have the buffer in RGB format. I need to convert it to PDF format (without writing to a file) before sending it over a TCP socket. Is this doable with ImageMagick (or any other library)?

I do dev work on a Win7/IIS7 box so had to learn early how to set up HTTP Handlers in this newer environment.     The regular expression class (rxregexp.dll) that comes with ooRexx (I'm on 4.0.0) is relatively low on function compared, say, with Python's re module (even at 2.5.2). It appears to have no assertions, no facilities for group extraction, or for substitution. Greedy or lazy matching is a global pattern option, rather than flagged by an additional "?". Basically, a pre-PCRE regular expression engine. Does anyone know if anything with more up-to-date function is available?
