  Hi, Having difficulty understanding why my function is being called twice. I'm trying to detect when a radio button is called (intRev_yes), check if a div is empty, slide down another div and then call a custome function which dynamically creates a date field. if(this.id=="intRev_yes"){ if($('div#mainField').is(':empty')){ $('.intRevSections').slideDown('slow',function(){ current=-1; addIrField(); }); } } When I alert out at each stage, after getting to the end (i.e. addIrField()), the script seems to go back to the slideDown() section and recalls addIrField(). I can't understand why, there are no loops. current is used as an index for the date field.

Something like this: {{ form.myfield.0 }}} Or perhaps hanging it onto widget itself: {{ form.myfield.field.widget.0 }} What bugs me is that RadioFieldRenderer already implements __get_item__ to get just one RadioInput. The problem is that the renderer does not contain data, neither does the widget. And I'd really hate to mess with Field and BoundField. I need this to inject html before/after each radiobutton and I'd like it to be done in the template. From the code it would be easy. Any ideas are welcome.

  Hey I am looking for theory, algorithms and similar for how to compare music. More specifically, I am looking into how to dupecheck music tracks that have different bitrates or perhaps slightly different variations (radio vs album version), but otherwise sound the same. Use cases for this include services such as Grooveshark, Youtube, etc. where they get a lot of duplicate tracks. I am also interested in text comparisons (Britney Spers vs Britney Spears, how far they deviate, etc.) although this is secondary and I already have some sources to go on in this area. I am mostly interested in codec-agnostic comparison techniques and algoritms (assuming a "raw" stream), but codec-specific resources are appreciated. I am aware of projects such as musicbrainz.org, but have not investigated it further, and would be interested if such projects could be of help in this endeavor.

  Hello every one :) I wont to create a pdf from a form on my page, but the Problem is, I need it excactly like the page with form, all entires. So I have for example 2 Input Fields, 7 Radio, 2 Checkboxes, and as result i need a PDF with the same sructure, but if someone check the checkbox, it must be saved in pdf. I have tryed to save the html content of the page on submit, and save it first in html file, but the problem is, my selections woundn't be saved. The result must have the same as i would print my form. I hope someone can help. PS: I using PHP and jQuery

• Customising event delegates in the jQuery validation plug-in

  I am currently setting up the jQuery validation plug-in for use in our project. By default, there are some events automatically set up for handling. I.e. focus in/out, key up events on all inputs fire validation. I want it to only fire when the submit button is clicked. This functionality seems to be in-built into the plug-in, which is making it difficult to do this (without modifying the plug-in code, Not What I Want To Do). I have found the eventDelegate function calls in the plugin code prototype method: $(this.currentForm) .validateDelegate(":text, :password, :file, select, textarea", "focusin focusout keyup", delegate) .validateDelegate(":radio, :checkbox, select, option", "click", delegate); When I remove these lines from the plug-in I get my result, however I would much rather do something Outside the plug-in to achieve this. Can anybody please help me? If you need any more details, please let me know. I have searched google with little success. Thanks

I have to set a variable based on which one was selected.. and I've produced some very ugly code doing this.. private void Foo_CheckedChanged(object sender, EventArgs e) { convertSource = 1; } private void Bar_CheckedChanged(object sender, EventArgs e) { convertSource = 2; } private void Baz_RadioButton_CheckedChanged(object sender, EventArgs e) { convertSource = 3; } Now, I've been thinking about it and to be honest I thought there might have been a way to do it with a switch.. I just can't conceptualize it in my mind. If anyone could show me a more efficient way of doing this, I'd really appreciate it.   I have some clients who are requesting for some of their reasonably complex paper-based forms to be converted in to web forms. There's straight Q&A text input stuff, there's questions based around checkboxes, radio boxes, select boxes, maybe the occasional attached image, there's data that has to be entered in a tabular fashion, etc. I am deciding whether I should build a "platform" with properly normalised tables to store all types of form data. But before that, I thought I had better check and see if there is anything like that already on the market. I am looking for a product that can: * Easily create web forms of all types * Store all data in a database * Extensive reporting capability I have had a bit of a look around but there's not a whole lot I can see.   I am trying to programmatically change a value of a wxRadioButton in a way the user would do it. A value change doesn't call the event corresponded to the button, and it make sense since the documentation says it clearly: wxRadioButton::SetValue void SetValue(const bool value) Sets the radio button to selected or deselected status. This does not cause a wxEVT_COMMAND_RADIOBUTTON_SELECTED event to get emitted. So the question is how can I call an programmatically generated event for a wxRadioButton ? I guess that it's something to do with: wxWindow window->AddPendingEvent(wxEvent *event ) A simple example would be greatly appreciated.

  SO I am trying to create a way to structure my database to be able customize forms. I looked into EAV pattern and here is my db structure: Table form - form_id - form_name - form_added_on - form_modified_at Table: form_fields - field_id - form_id - field_type (TEXT, RADIO etc..) - field_default_value - field_required Table: form_data - data_id - field_id - form_id - field_value so now I can store any custom form into the database and if I want to get the values for an individual form I can simply join it by "form_id" .. the problem: I want to be able to search through all the forms for a specific field value. How can I do that with EAV model? Also, I thought about just storing the custom data as a serialized (JSON) object but then I am not sure how can I query that data. Please note that I am using Codeigniter with MYSQL. So if conversation can use Codeigniter libraries if needed.

  I have a couple of questions about connectivity on Android, if anyone has any insight it would be great. What is the default when an application wants to wirelessly connect? Is it wlan? And if wlan is switched off or there is no access points around is it 3g or gprs? Is a device always ip connected? Or when its disabled from wlan or 3g does it lose its ip address? Is an application, for example the browser only ever connected to one ip address? Or can it be connected to multiple addresses for each radio such as gprs or wifi (wlan)? Can an application decide which connection to open a socket to? For example can I create an application and decide whether to connect the socket to the wlan or gprs? Or does the OS decide? Finally how do native applications handle connectivity? In the same manner?

• Set value in controller using nested resource

  I have two models, product and order. Product - cost - id Order - cost - product_id Each time someone places an order, it captures the product_id through a radio button value in the "new order" form. In the controller when creating the new order it needs to set order.cost to order.product.cost. Logically I thought the code should be something like this: def create ... @order.cost == @order.product.cost ... end However I can't seem to make it work at all, hence me asking the question here.   probably something simple how do i get google analytics to detect traffic that comes from a website that redirects to another? i.e someone visits www.abc.com, and are redirected to another site <?php header("Location:www.cde.com"); ?> how do i track these hits? nothing comes up..as i guess it's not strictly a "referrer". hope this makes sense..thanks or is there a better way to do this? I want to track hits on anyone visiting domain X, which redirects to another site. Essentially we are doing a radio campaign with this new domain and would like to measure its effectiveness. thanks

• MVC2 Client-Side Validation for injected Ajax response

  Hi, I have the following scenario for an MVC 2 website. The user checks a radio. I make a jQuery GET to retrieve some html (partial view + view model). The view-model is annotated with validation attributes. I need client-side validation for the new html's inputs. I tried placing the following line in the partial view: <% Html.EnableClientValidation(); % I was naive. Also for the obtained html I use jQuery's .html to populate my placeholder, which also would execute the javascript. Not that there is any. Is is possible to update the page's validation logic and metadata after the ajax call ? Any ideas (beside remote client side validation) ? Thanks in advance.

• How do I set a VB.Net ComboBox default value

  I can not locate the correct method to make the first item in a combo box visible. The app starts with an empty combo box. The user makes a radio box selection then clicks Go! (how original). The combo box is loaded via an LDAP query. All this is working just fine. The problem is the combo box still appears to the user to be empty. They must click the arrow to see the options. How do I make the first option 'visible' after the users clicks Go!? I thought it would be simple... Thanks, Ed

• Magento: How do I retrieve values from fields submitted with the payment method?

  Ok. This is getting a little frustrating. I am trying to create a custom payment module for Magento. The purpose is to use Authorize.net's CIM so that we don't have to worry so much about PCI compliance. The issue I am having is that the users need to be able to access their previous credit cards and use those for purchasing. I have the previous cards being stored in the database. They are also being displayed in the form in the checkout process. My issue comes when I click continue after selecting the payment method. How do I get the values I submitted in the form? Specifically, the value of the radio button the saved code is attached to? I am not sure what if any code is needed for me to post, so let me know if you need anything in particular. Thanks.

• Efficient way to create/unpack large bitfields in C?

  I have one microcontroller sampling from a lot of ADC's, and sending the measurements over a radio at a very low bitrate, and bandwidth is becoming an issue. Right now, each ADC only give us 10 bits of data, and its being stored in a 16-bit integer. Is there an easy way to pack them in a deterministic way so that the first measurement is at bit 0, second at bit 10, third at bit 20, etc? To make matters worse, the microcontroller is little endian, and I have no control over the endianness of the computer on the other side.
