  • CI pagination, POST problem

    Okay, I am pretty new in CI and I am stuck on pagination. I am performing this pagination on a record set that is result of a query. Now everything seems to be working fine. But there’s some problem probably with the link. I am displaying 10 results per page. Now if the results are less than 10 then it’s fine. Or If I pull up the entire records in the table it works fine. But in case the result is more than 10 rows, then the first 10 is perfectly displayed, and when I click on the pagination link to get to the next page the next page displays the rest of the results from the query as well as, other records in the table. ??? I am confused.. Any help??     Hi, I can now if a session contain any changes which must be synchronized with the database with session.isDirty() But i have a simple field (modification date) that i would like to be ignore by it. Example: object Person( name,age,datemodification). if i just modify the datemodification field i would like that session.isDirty() or othermethod like this to return false so at the end no sql update will occur.     Why is the ( ) mandatory in the SQL statement select * from gifts INNER JOIN sentgifts using (giftID); ? The ( ) usually is for specifying grouping of something. But in this case, are we supposed to be able to use 2 or more field names... in the example above, it can be all clear that it is 1 field, is it just that the parser is not made to bypass the ( ) when it is all clear? (such as in the language Ruby).

    Folks, Im using MSCRM 4 and I have a contact entity with an actual job title and a normalized job title field. I would like to populate the normalized job title field based on the actual job title. I created a seperate entity which is a table that corelates the nomalized job title with the actual job title eg Administrative CFO equals CFO. I have a location field (which I've just created) and want to run a query to populate it with either 'Building 1' or 'Building 2' depending on which room number it has in the 'Room' field. However, i noticed that when i run my reports, it does not show the last record for every group (even though this total line is in the Group Footer).
