• Gmail.com detect mail as spam, but the server is not on any BlackList

  I have an issue with Google. (GMail to be exact) About 1 month ago, we had a security breach, and mail was relayed through our servers. we got listed in almost ALL Black-Lists :( we fixed the problem, and requested removal from Black-lists, which was granted easily. currently (over 3 weeks), we are not sending any spam anymore. furthermore, we got clear from all the Black-lists (MxToolBox Black-List Search Result) But, GMail still refuse to get Anything from the server, stating '550 Spam'. • Robustly killing Windows programs stuck reporting 'problems'

  I am looking for a means to kill a Windows exe program that, when being tested from a python script, crashes and presents a dialog to the user; as this program is invoked many times, and may crash repeatedly, this is not suitable. The problem dialog is the standard reporting of a Windows error: "Foo.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" and offers a Debug, Send Error Report, and Don't Send buttons. I am able to kill other forms of dialog resulting from crashes (e.g. a Debug build's assert failure dialog is OK.) I have tried taskkill.exe, pskill, and the terminate() function on the Popen object from the subprocess module that was used to invoke the .exe Has anyone encountered this specific issue, and found a resolution? I expect automating user input to select the window, and press the "Don't Send" button is one possible solution, but I would like something far simpler if possible

  Hello. I'm just wondering how some e-mails get past the spam filter, and some don't? Everyday I get World of Warcraft phishing emails that get past the filter... Here, the spammer specified "blizzard.com". And he sent his email through Hotmail using Outlook Express. I just don't understand how this gets past the spam filter? There's this SPF thing that seems to exist... but it doesn't seem to be used by blizzard? I'm on Windows, and if I use nslookup to look for the TXT records of blizzard.com and worldofwarcraft.com, I don't see a thing.... so blizzard is not using SPF? Why would that be?

  Hi, I'm trying to run a batch file as admin. I found that I can use runas command which corresponds sudo command in Linux I think. I tried runas /noprofile /user:computername\adminuser "blah.bat start" But it gives an error, saying : Logon failure: user account restriction.. (msdos window doesn't allow me to coppy damn thing I hate dos anyway .. ) is there anyway, I can run this batch file as admin, right click doesn't work me because I can't give any parameter to it. Any help, I really really apreciated that.

• How to validate HTTP request headers before receiving request body using WCF

  I'm implementing a REST service using WCF which will be used to upload very large files. The HTTP headers in this request will communicate information which will be validated prior to allowing the upload to proceed (things like permissions, available disk space, etc). It's possible this validation will fail resulting in an error response. I'd like to do this validation prior to the client sending the body of the request, so it has a chance to detect failure before uploading potentially gigabytes of data. RESTful web services use the HTTP 1.1 Expect: 100-continue in the request to implement this. For example Amazon S3's REST API can validate your key and ACLs in response to an object PUT operation, returning 100 Continue if all is well, indicating you may proceed to send your data. I've rummaged around the WCF documentation and I just can't see a way to accomplish this without doing some pretty low-level hooking into the HTTP request processing pipeline. How would you suggest I solve this problem?

  I have a windows desktop application whose application data is stored in the All Users/Application Data/ My Company folder. Now when I install my application on an Windows XP machine using an Administrator login. If I run my application using that administrator's login it works well but when I tried to run my application using a normal users login on that machine it fails. The reason for failure is that the normal user is not able to write anything in the All Users/Application data/ My Company folder. Now is any kind of permission is required for All Users folder on Windows XP machine. If yes then from where I can set that permission.

• How to include javascript/css once with Struts 1.x

  If this is the wrong approach, please suggest something better, but my current efforts have been trying to find something that exists for a single page load, such that I can cache which javascript/css files have been included so as to only include them once. I thought in a TagSupport subclass I could use (HttpServletRequest)pageContext.getRequest().getParameterMap().put(srcKey,true) but the request is per jsp, not per page load so it was a failure. I could set up a filter in web.xml, but it seems I would have to search the response for duplicates and rewrite the response...pain. I could try to store things in the session, but there are headaches with clearing values... Any help would be appreciated.

• Stack calling convention between .NET & C on WinCE 6.0

  Hi there. I'm porting a DLL written in C from WinCE 5.0 to WinCE 6.0 on an ARM target. This DLL is called by a .NET software. On WinCE5.0, everything runs fine. On WinCE6, I have the following problem: on InitInstance() of my DLL, I can call anything without problem (for example MessageBox()) or uses recursivity. Passed that point, the DLL is called by .NET code. And then it fails: even the arguments passed by .NET code seem weird. I can call MessageBox() once, but I can't call a function that calls MessageBox() and then that calls itself: recursivity is broken. It seems that the .NET code uses the stack in a different way than my C code. I'm very unfamillar with the Windows world and the company that gives me the .NET application does not understand yet why there is such a failure. Any pointer/hint/advice welcome! Thanks!

  I recently had an issue after upgrading my .net framework to 4.0 from 3.5, I did this because in 4.0 the SMTPClient finally sends a QUIT command to the SMTP server.   I have a Silverlight solution that I want to create a build script for. I have a simple script that looks like this call "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\bin\vcvars32.bat" msbuild %CD%\V1\Incentive.sln /target:Rebuild /property:Configuration=DEBUG;WarningLevel=2 msbuild %CD%\UI\IncentiveUI.sln /target:Rebuild /property:Configuration=DEBUG;WarningLevel=2 pause However when I run this I get a failure, with some complaints about classes that are in a project with linked files: http://pastebin.com/JRE3tWfh This solution compiles fine in VS2008 so I can't figure out what the problem is. I have to guess something is wrong with the way I am using msbuild here.

  I am writing a tool which communicates with more than one version control system, either subversion or clearcase, and has various utilities which can be plugged into it. I though of using MEF to load the version control providers, and utiilities, both of which have interfaces definied for them. I've started to use MEF for this. But if loading any plugin fails (on half my clients machines, the ClearCase COM bindings won't be present, so loading will fail, on the other half SVN won't be installed, so the SVN plugin won't load) though, MEF throws an exception and no plugin works; I was hoping that the rest of the plugins would load. [ImportMany(AllowRecomposition = true)] public IEnumerable<IVersionControl> RegisteredProviders { get; private set; } Instead, if any providers fail to construct themselves, then RegisteredProviders is null. Is there a simple way of configuring MEF to achieve this (reporting exceptions but loading other instances), or do I have to change the interface to delay their intialisation failure until after MEF has instantiated the objects?

• Non-interactive command-line FTP client alternative to weex

  Hi, I'm looking for a good non-interactive, command line FTP client to be run from a Rakefile. Like Weex, but better. Weex has different problems (for me): It stores its config file in my home dir. I want the FTP config to be part of my project and weex doesn't have a --config-file option or something. The behavior of ignoring files seems to be completely buggy. It doesn't remove files which it should, it doesn't let me specify relative paths, even though I do it according to the man page's instructions, etc. I've been struggling with it for an hour now and it is just completely inexplicable. I tried running rsync over FTPFS/FUSE, but that is dead slow because FTP doesn't store mtimes, which makes rsync diff every file. Plus, there are some refresh problems and other bugs that cause access failure (http://bugs.gentoo.org/208168). I'm stuck with FTP, unfortunately. Any help is appreciated.

• can I see all SQL statements sent over an ODBC connection?

  I'm working with a third-party application that uses ODBC to connect to, and alter, a database. During certain failure modes, the end-results are not what I expect. To understand it better, I'd like some way of inspecting all the statements sent to the database. Is there a way to do this with ODBC? I know with JDBC I could use http://www.p6spy.com/ to see all statements sent, for example when debugging hibernate. p6spy is a "proxy" driver that records commands sent and forwards them on to the real JDBC driver. Another possibility might be a protocol sniffer that would capture statements over the wire. Although, I'm unsure if ODBC includes a standard wire protocol, or only specifieds the API. Does anyone know of existing tools that would allow me to do either of these things? Alternatively, is there another approach I could take?

  Hi People who talk about loggers here never talke about EventLog, I think this is good for windows system. Is it reliable, or I found it dead in some bad morning? Why not logging everything at SQLServer, I am creating E-Commerce website, if SQL server down the website will be down anyway. but I am worry about temporally connection failure, what do u think? Why everyone like files, it can be in great size, too big to handle, or maybe I will create another file when a file is too big, and I can create a file with a date.   Hi, I got a crash dump (both mdmp and hdmp) for my application (written in C++) captured using dr. watson. After analyzing the dumps through windbg, I concluded that the crash had occurred in the catch() itself :) What I need to know is what exception caused the the failure in the first place i.e. I need that penultimate(last but one th) exception that had occurred. I know I could get the same by some other ways, but is there a specific command with which we could get the list of errors\exceptions occurring from the dump file. Thanks. --Samrat Patil

• emails not sending from CentOS 5.6 VM on Win7 via PHP code

  I am experiencing an issue where my CentOS 5.6 (Final) VM running on Windows 7 has stopped sending emails from my PHP code. I'm confident this isn't a coding issue as I have the exact same code running in my office and emails send correctly from there, hence why I believe this to be a networking/configuration issue. In my /etc/hosts/ file on my VM I have the following: 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost 192.168.0.9 crmpicco.co.uk m.crmpicco.co.uk dev53.localdomain When I run setup on my VM the DNS configuration is set to dev53.localdomain and my Primary DNS is 192.168.0.1. • Verify my form workflow

  I have a form, with some sensitive info (CC numbers). My work flow is: One page to take all form items Upon submission, values are validated. If all is well, all data is stored in a session variable, and the page reloads and displays this info from the session variable. If everything is ok on the review page, the user clicks submit and the session variable is sent to another form for processing (sending payment). Upon success, the session is destroyed. Upon failure (bad CC number, for example) - the user is sent back to the form, with all of the fields filled in just like before, so that they can check for errors and try again (session is NOT destroyed). Does anyone see anything wrong with this, from a security or best practices stand point? UPDATE I'm thinking I can get rid of a step - storing the info in a session EVER. Just have a one page checkout, no review page... makes sense.

• CSRF error when trying to log onto Django admin page with w3m on Emacs23

  I normally use Firefox and have had no problems with the admin page on my Django website. But I use Emacs23 for writing my posts, and wanted to be able to use w3m in Emacs to copy the stuff across. When I try to log into my admin pages, it gives the CSRF error: CSRF verification failed. Request aborted. Help Reason given for failure: No CSRF or session cookie. ... Is there a way that I could get w3m to work with my admin page? I am not sure if the problem lies with the way the admin is set up on Django or with the Emacs or w3m settings.

EJB reference is required for communication between Ear2 and Ear1.i am setting the below value to Target Resource JNDI Name: corbaloc::ClusterServer1:2810,:ClusterServer2:2810/cell/clusters/Cluster1/ejb/com/mycompanyName/projectName/ejb/facade/EjbFacadeHome But i am getting the below error Caused by: javax.naming.ServiceUnavailableException: A communication failure occurred while attempting to obtain an initial context with the provider URL: "corbaloc::mums00100251.in.net.intra:2810,:mums00100392.in.net.intra:2810/cell/clusters/Cluster1/ejb/com/bnpparibas/tradefinance/ejb/facade/EjbFacadeHome".
