  • Where is the definition of Global_NS in a BizTalk schema?

    - by SteveC
I'm trying to use a distinguished property but I get an error "Cannot implicitly convert type ... to Global_NS ... " I've googled/bing'ed but I've found only 4 references, none of which help I can't see anywhere that this is set :-( I've been trying to remove the tempuri namespaces from a WCF service and all seemed OK, until I tried to access a distinguished property

  • Azure storage - double decimal point ignored on save

    - by Fabio Milheiro
I have a value that is correctly stored in a property of an object, but when I save the changes to the Azure storage database, the double value is stored to the database ignoring the point (7.1000000003 is saved as 711). Also, the property is changed to 711.0. How do I solve this problem? The field is already set to double in the class and the database table.

  • How can I flip/rotate a PrintDocument in .NET ?

    - by Simon_Weaver
I have a document that I want to be flipped / rotated 180 degrees when printed. (This is due to the orientation of label stock in the printer). There is a property PrintDocument.PrinterSettings.LandscapeAngle but it is read only. I think this property is influenced by the printer driver and therefore not 'settable'. Is there a nice way i can rotate the print by 180 degrees without having to do anything too nasty?

  • Automatically truncate to MaxLength during mapping

    - by aceinthehole
I have a schema that has the max length property set on all of its elements, of various size. I am mapping to it and expect that the max length will be exceeded quite often. Is there a way tell BizTalk to automatically truncate without having to go in and manually configure a functoid for each element? Is there a purpose for the max length property other than validation?

    - by zaidwaqi
Hi, I use the following code to get thumbnail of image in Resources, and display on Picturebox. Image tmp = (System.Drawing.Image)myManager.GetObject(tempImage); cfgPassPicture[m].Image = tmp.GetThumbnailImage(40, 40, new System.Drawing.Image.GetThumbnailImageAbort(ThumbnailCallback), System.IntPtr.Zero); How do I do this for images in directory (instead of resources), given only the URL? I can load image into PictureBox via ImageLocation property, but not sure how to use Image property of PictureBox for this. Thanks

  • DataGridView Autosize but restrict max column size

    - by aaginor
Hi folks, in my C# 4.0 Application, I have a DataGridView to display some data. I want the Columns size accordingly to the content, so I set the AutoSizeColumnsMode to AllCellsExceptHeader. But I want to restrict the columns to grow beyond a certain value. There is a MinimumWidth Property ... but unfortunately no MaximumWidth Property. Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks in advance, Frank

  • NHibernate: inserting additional calculated column

    - by Andrey Shchekin
What would be your approach with NHibernate to do the following: When Comment is inserted into DB, and its property Text is inserted into column Text (due to a mapping), insert into column TextHash a hash of this property value. It seems trivial if I map TextHash, but how should I do this without mapping it? I do not need it in the domain model, its a DB-level optimization (I would use computed HashBytes if not for the length limit).

  • What would be the best .NET 2.0 type to represent .NET 3.5 HashSet<T>?

    - by Will Marcouiller
I'm writing myself a class library to manage Active Directory. I have an interface: Public Interface ISourceAnnuaire(Of T as {IGroupe, ITop, IUniteOrganisation, IUtilisateur}) Readonly Property Changements As Dictionary(Of T, HashSet(Of String)) End Interface This Changements property is used to save in memory the changes that occur on a particular element that is part of the source. However, I am stuck with .NET Framework 2.0. What would be the closest .NET 2.0 for HashSet(Of String)?

  • How to parse a midlet JAD file in C#?

    - by codemonkie
Besides doing it manually using regular expression search, is there other better ways to parse a JAD file? I need to be able to search for and replace/insert a new MIdlet-Install-Notify property to a JAD file given, also updating the value of the MIDlet-Jar-URL property. Using ANTLR or TinyPG is a bit overkill for my case. TIA

  • How should Application.Run() be called for the main presenter of a MVP WinForms app?

    - by Mr Roys
I'm learning to apply MVP to a simple WinForms app (only one form) in C# and encountered an issue while creating the main presenter in static void Main(). Is it a good idea to expose a View from the Presenter in order to supply it as a parameter to Application.Run()? Currently, I've implemented an approach which allows me to not expose the View as a property of Presenter: static void Main() { IView view = new View(); Model model = new Model(); Presenter presenter = new Presenter(view, model); presenter.Start(); Application.Run(); } The Start and Stop methods in Presenter: public void Start() { view.Start(); } public void Stop() { view.Stop(); } The Start and Stop methods in View (a Windows Form): public void Start() { this.Show(); } public void Stop() { // only way to close a message loop called // via Application.Run(); without a Form parameter Application.Exit(); } The Application.Exit() call seems like an inelegant way to close the Form (and the application). The other alternative would be to expose the View as a public property of the Presenter in order to call Application.Run() with a Form parameter. static void Main() { IView view = new View(); Model model = new Model(); Presenter presenter = new Presenter(view, model); Application.Run(presenter.View); } The Start and Stop methods in Presenter remain the same. An additional property is added to return the View as a Form: public void Start() { view.Start(); } public void Stop() { view.Stop(); } // New property to return view as a Form for Application.Run(Form form); public System.Windows.Form View { get { return view as Form(); } } The Start and Stop methods in View (a Windows Form) would then be written as below: public void Start() { this.Show(); } public void Stop() { this.Close(); } Could anyone suggest which is the better approach and why? Or there even better ways to resolve this issue?

  • Using GQL to check if BlobProperty is NULL

    - by Joel
Hello, I have a db.BlobProperty property (called "Icon") in my entity which contains an image binary. I want to run a GQL query to retrieve all entities with an image (i.e. their "Icon" property is not NULL). Trying to use the following query: "SELECT * FROM Names WHERE Icon!=NULL" did not work... Trying to use .filter("Icon!=",None) did not work as well... Any ideas? Thanks! Joel

  • Injecting Annotated Bean into Regular Bean

    - by jboyd
AppContext.xml <bean id="myBean" class="com.myapp.MyClass"> <property ref="myService"/> </bean> MyService.java @Service public class MyService { ... } This will throw an exception stating that no bean can be found for property "myService", which I understand because it can't be found in the context files, but I can autowire that field in other spring managed beans, but I need to explicitly build the bean in my context because the POJO is not editable in the scope of my project.

  • Interface Builder Does Not Recognize Toolbar Buttons

    - by Sheehan Alam
I created 4 UIButton's that are Custom and Plain in IB. I added a background image to them and then placed them onto my UIToolbar. I created IBActions and hooked up all of the buttons I did not create @property for the buttons, but 3/4 of them appear on my toolbar and they work. Why isnt my 4th button appearing? If I need to declare an @property for them, will it be a UIToolbarButtonItem or a UIButton?

  • [Iphone-Dev] Assigning values : difference between properties and class variables ?

    - by gotye
Hey guys, I noticed that I rarely use properties, due to the fact that I rarely need to access my object's variables outside my class ;) So I usually do : NSMutableArray *myArray; // not a property ! My question is : even if i don't declare myArray as a property, does iphone make a retain anyway if I do myArray = arrayPassedToMe; I think so but I just wanted to confirm ;) Any thoughts welcome ! Gotye
