That camera stores the videos on mini DVD and at the moment I copy the videos from the camera to my computer via a batch file. • Is it better to use N WiFi or Cat5e ethernet for large file transfers?

  I have a network containing 802.11 N WiFi Devices and gigabit ethernet devices, however using only Cat5e wiring. I know that if I used Cat6, the ethernet would be much faster however if I need to transfer a large file between a device thats connected normally connected via ethernet and a device thats normally connected via WiFi, would it be advantageous to bother plugging the WiFi device in to the network? or should I switch the ethernet device to WiFi? or does it really matter?

  I am trying to play Netflix videos (which only play via Silverlight), but they play choppy because Silverlight's hardware-accelerated playback is disabled. (video playback on WMP11 and VLC is flawless, so I know beyond certainty that my built-in video card's hardware is perfectly capable of hardware-accelerated playback) I have the latest & greatest Silverlight version: 5.1.10411.0 And I tried to "un-grey-it-out" via the Registry's GPUVideoDecodeEnabled and UpdateMode, but that didn't help. Is there any way to "un-grey-it-out"?

  I would like to look at some log files solely via the console on a standard Windows 7 machine. The logs are created by schedulded tasks and I find it a hazzle to use VNC for this purpose. What technology should I look at? Powershell, Cygwin via ssh or something else? The log files are written using log4Net - thus there might also be an easy way to reconfigure it to create events or something else for remote display.

I can not figure out how to reinstall the default website to reinstall OWA and settings? I also can't log into Exchange Mangement Console. The attempt to connect to... using "kerberos" jauthenication failed (probably because it does not exist).

I want to get a call in number based in England and was wondering if receiving calls via the call in number on my mobile via wifi would use any of my callout credit?   Using two servers with NLB, each box contains IIS and a mail server. Server1 is the primary Server2 runs the backup mail server The problem is the web app sends email to ourselves. When mail is sent from Server2 (via its own SMTP server) to ourselves, it tries to contact Server1, as its the mail server IP. But under Unicast mode of NLB, it cant reach the host via the public dedicated IP address. How can we get round this?

  To facilitate automation of guest VM provisioning, how do I set (in a script) the IP address on a guest VM's NIC (or NIC's) once a new VM has booted? Is there a way to "inject" netsh commands via the Citrix guest OS tools (for Windows for example) once the host has started? Or can this be done via the Citrix API/SDK or the xe tools? These are windows 2008 servers that have been sysprep'd so when the boot for the first time they have no IP address.

  I'm running OS X 10.6.8 on a MacBook Pro 13" 2011 version, trying to use Dropbox 1.4.7 Camera Upload. When I connect my Sony HDR-XR260 video camera or my Blackberry Torch 9800 via USB or even an SD card via the built-in reader, Dropbox never recognizes any of it and the pop-up dialog box never pops up to ask me if I want to import my videos or not. I do have the option enabled in DB preferences. Any solutions?

  I have an Ubuntu serve that I'm connecting to via SFTP (and also an SSHFS mount locally). When I move a file to the server via the mount I need it to have permissions set to 777. I've added umask 000 to the .bashrc file at the advice of a friend and it doesn't appear to be working. Basically I'm working completely in a restricted folder and need the root to always leave the permissions open - wether I'm SSH'ed in or moving files to the server.
