• Use a certain select statement in a stored procedure depending on the Exec statement

  I'm creating a flip clock (clock where you always see in airport), but I can't seems to get the time to show at the correct timing. After the flip, then will see the number changing. And post because I need to access the mysql database in relation to that input. When I execute a find all, this filter seems to get hit twice. The first time, $entity contains a count() of the results and only on the second hit does it contain the Records object. What am I doing wrong? How do I alter this so that simply doing <?= $tag->created; ?> in my view will format the date the way I want? This, essentially, needs to be an 'after filter', of sorts. EDIT If I can find a way to access the current model entity object (not the full namespaced path, $self contains that), I can probably solve my problem.

• Boxy Submit Form

  I am using the boxy jQuery plugin in my page to display a form on a clickEvent for the fullCalendar plugin. It is working all right , the only problem I have is that the form in boxy brings up the confirmation dialog the first time the dialog is opened and when the user clicks "Ok" it submits the form a second time which generates 2 events on my calendar and 2 entries in my database. • Excel: Is it possible to have rows with sub-totals that doesn't ruin the total-total?

  I have an excel sheet which looks something like this: date text value other-value date text value other-value date text value other-value date text value other-value totals sum other-sum The sum is of course a sum of all the values above it. What I am wondering is if there is a way I can add rows with a sub-total at random places through out that list. For example if I would like to have a sub-total for each new month. My problem is of course that the total sum will become way to large because it will also sum the rows with the sub-totals. Does Excel have a feature that can help me so I can have the sub-totals and a correct total-total? I'm using Excel 2010.

• MDT 2010 Litetouch.vbs Fails to Launch

  I have the custom image captured. Import the image and files. Prepare the customsettings.ini and the boot.ini to minimize the questions the deployment team will need to answer. Everything works like a charm on virtual machines but when I map to the scripts folder on the deployment share and double-click litetouch.vbs it creates the c:\minint folder, subfolders, and a couple of log files then nothing.   Hi, Long story: My MacBook's hard drive failed one year ago, just a month after its warranty ended or: a year and a month after I bought it. After about ten phone calls to Apple's service, they agreed to extend the warranty for another year, so that I got it replaced free of charge. In the mean time, I got to know that many MacBook users that experience/report hard drive failures. Every reported crash was preceded by a slowdown of system performance, an increased occurrence of the spinning beach ball wait courser, and frequent crashes of applications that used to run very robust until then. It happened (as far as I know) with MacBooks from 2006/2007. All these MacBooks additionally suffer from a recurring wearing down of their "top case". Many heavy users had to replace their HDDs three time since 2006/2007 resulting in an head crash, making it impossible to recover data (diagnosis of recovery specialists) in most but not all cases HDD was Seagate (doesn't necessarily have to be the cause, if majority of the MacBook charge contained Seagate drives) And right now (one year after my first disk crash), these symptoms are cumulating on my system, again ... Short version: prevalent hard drive failure on MacBook charge from 2006/2007 (i.e. 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Due) I am looking for any (preferable open source) tool for checking the hard drive condition, especially to detect the known "MacBook problem". So, that I can replace the disk on time. If any Mac user found a solution to prevent the repeated failure of heir hard drive, I would be very glad to get to known it. I really enjoy my old MacBook, but I hate to get interrupted every year by an HDD crash. BTW, the issue is already in discussion for a long time, but there seems to be no solution, so far. Example: 2014 : sum of all amounts that are in 2014 2015 : sum of all amounts that are in year 2015 Sep2014 oct2014 Nov2014 Dec2014 Jan2015 Feb2015 ... 100 200 250 150 20 50 I know that 2014 = 100+200+250+150 = 700, but I need a formula to search for all cells that include that year and sum up the numbers.

• Need leading zero for batch script using %time% variable

  Hi, I came across a bug in my DOS script that uses date and time data for file naming. The problem was I ended up with a gap because the time variable didn't automatically provide leading zero for hour < 10. So running echo %time% gives back: ' 9:29:17.88'. Does anyone know of a way to conditionally pad leading zeros to fix this? More info: My filename set command is: set logfile=C:\Temp\robolog_%date:~-4%%date:~4,2%%date:~7,2%_%time:~0,2%%time:~3,2%%time:~6,2%.log which ends up being: C:\Temp\robolog_20100602_ 93208.log (for 9:23 in the morning). • Excel 2007 pivot table does not aggregate properly

  I am using a an excel pivot table to summarize some data and just found a problem. The problem deals with how aggregate values are calculated. Let's say I have a table of data with three columns: Name, Date, Value. If I create a table where Name and then Date are used as Row Labels and Value is the aggregate value, ie Average. The pivot table will look something like this: +John .3450 5/14/2010 1.234 5/15/2010 3.450 5/16/2010 -3.25 What I think should be happening here is that the values for each date are averaged and then those values are averaged to come up with the value in the same row as the Name, John. But that is not what it does. It takes the average for each date, which it shows across from the date, but then instead of taking the average of those numbers, it actually uses the raw data and computes the average for all of John's values. It should show the average of the daily averages to correspond with the tree hierarchy, but instead just shows me the average for all of John's values. It essential will only aggregate at one level, but visually creates sub levels that it is not using. Does anyone know how to change this or understand by what logic this makes sense? Why would I create any sub groupings if I cannot compute aggregates on them?

• How does one make sure or even guarantee server time are sync correctly between dozens of servers across multiple datacenter on different location?

  Currently our web applications contain a logic to check if the data sent to the web server is expired or not by comparing the timestamp of the data with the date/time of the server. Everything goes will, until some dude from data center accidentally modify one of the web server date/time and causes some disruptions in our web services. My managers are of course not happy with this, and said we shouldn't use timestamp to check expiry in the first place...anyway.... Network Time Protocol is implemented, because of data centers are spread across different continents so we have one NTP server in each data center. The servers within the data center will have cron jobs to check against the time with their NTP server from the same data center. If time is out of sync it will auto update the server date/time. But then with our managers not happy with it, and think it could still easily causes the same problem. e.g. what if someone accidentally modify the NTP date/time? what if all the NTP servers are out of sync with each other? which NTP servers we can really trust? and blah blah.. So my questions are: What are the current practice to sync date/time between servers across multiple data centers or locations? How does one manages time stamp between web apps? e.g. Server A send data (contain timestamp of Server A) to Server B (compare timestamp between Server B and the timestamp from the data to see if it has expired or not. This is to avoid HTTP replay) Should we really not use timestamp check? Thanks & Best Regards

  I am trying to sort out caching in IIS for my site. Basically, I want nothing cached, except for .png, .js, and .css files. At my site level, I opened the HTTP Reponse Headers and used the "Set Common Hedaers..." to set content to expire immediately. I have no Output Caching profiles set at any level in IIS. I clear my browser cache then try accessing my site. • Conditional formatting

  I have a rather annoying format I need to implement. There are 2 cells, both containing a date (cell A and B). B contains a date (24-06-2011). Cell B should be colored if cell A is between a date range, based on cell B. So if cell A lies between cell B - 7 days and cell B - 11 days, then it should be triggered. So with numbers: If B is 24-06-2011 then the range (which is not in any cell in the spreadsheet) is 13-06-2011 until 17-06-2011. If the date in cell A (let's say 14-06-2011) is in that range, cell B should be colored. Any ideas?

  I store some data in files which follow this naming convention: /interesting/data/filename-YYYY-MM-DD-HH-MM How do I look for the ones with date in file name < now - 1 month and delete them? Files may have changed since they were created, so searching according to last modification date is not good.
