• Prevent UIGestureRecognizer from firing selector more than once

  I utilize a UILongPressGestureRecognizer in my app. This is a continuous gesture recognizer which means it continuously fires the selector for the target it was initialized with. I would like the selector to be fired only once. I have tried to prevent further selectors being fired by setting the gesture recognizer's enabled property to Note the first time the selector is fired, but this only takes effect after the selector is fired again. How can I ensure the selector is fired only once?

  Hi, i set the cache symbols from symbol servers to directory to D:\WebSymbols, but whenever i use VS2008 attach to process to debug, the VS2008 will copy the .pdb to the location of the attached process, and i also found many .pdb in the Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\sym. is there any way to prevent VS copying the .pdb files? thanks in advance!

  Hey guys I've tried several tools (imagemagic, gif2png, Nconverter) to extract frames to make sprites from a .gif image that i have. I get the .pngs just fine, but they'r not the same size, some are 50x65 some 43x65 some 50x70, Which really screws any attempts at a descent animation. So is there a way to prevent this cropping or programmatically add extra transparent space to smaller ones and make them all the same size? Thanks.

  I have a UIScrollView subclass with a certain subview I'd like to prevent from scrolling (while all the other subviews scroll as normal). The closest example to this I can think of is UITableView's "index strip" on the right side (look in the Contacts app to see an example). I am guessing this is a subview of the table (scrollview) but it does not move as the user scrolls. I can't seem to make my subview stay put! How can I accomplish this?

He opens Change Password form with FireBug, changes his Id to GoodPerson's Id, so password changes for GoodPerson.   I need to recursively remove unnecessary files from a svn repository and i have the following batch file to do this: @echo on del /s ~*.* del /s *.~* del /s Thumbs.db However, this is also deleting the entries under the .svn/ subfolders. Is there any way to prevent this commands from being executed under the .svn/ folders so that it doesn't mess things up? Thanks in advance! Which i don't need to reference on the main layout page.
