Basically, my scenario as I have source data needs to lookup for other source table and on matching column from source I need to get all the records from other source data. its a one to many relations. I tried Lookup but gives only one record on matching condition, OLE DB command don't retrieve any data as it will do only Insert/Update operations. Thanks prav

    Hello, I have a listview with a custom BaseAdapter. Each row of the listview has a TextView and a CheckBox. The problem is when I click (or touch) any row, the textview foreground becomes gray, instead of the default behavior (background - green, textview foreground - white).     I'm working with xna in C# and in my game I will have a variety of space ships flying all over the place. They will each have an arbitrary rotation, size and position in space and I need a method to determine when they collide. Ideally the method would take two Rectangles, two doubles and two Vector2s for size, rotation and position respectively and return a boolean that indicates whether they have intersected or not.

"key" is generated dynamically based on a set of keywords, so sometimes it contains + and - symbols.

    Suppose I have some code that looks like this: Private Sub MySub() dim blnFlag as Boolean blnFlag = False for each item in collection if item.Name = "Mike" then blnFound = true exit for endif next item End Sub Now - the blnFLag = False assignment is not actually necessary - booleans are initialised as false, but I think it's inclusion makes the code easier to read. What's your opinion?

    I have a custom model class with an NSMutableData ivar that will be accessed by custom NSOperation subclasses (using an NSOperationQueue). I think I can guarantee thread-safe access to the ivar from multiple NSOperations by using dependencies, and I can guarantee that I don't access the ivar from other code (say my main app thread) by waiting until the Q has finished all operations. Should I use a nonatomic property specification, or leave it atomic? Is there a significant impact on performance?

  • Drawbacks of using an integer as a bitfield?

    I have a bunch of boolean options for things like "accepted payment types" which can include things like cash, credit card, cheque, paypal, etc. Rather than having a half dozen booleans in my DB, I can just use an integer and assign each payment method an integer, like so PAYMENT_METHODS = ( (1<<0, 'Cash'), (1<<1, 'Credit Card'), (1<<2, 'Cheque'), (1<<3, 'Other'), ) and then query the specific bit in python to retrieve the flag. I know this means the database can't index by specific flags, but are there any other drawbacks?

    I want to write a macro that spits out code based on the boolean value of its parameter. So say DEF_CONST(true) should be expanded into "const", and DEF_CONST(false) should be expanded into nothing. Clearly the following doesn't work because we can't use another preprocessor inside #defines: #define DEF_CONST(b_const) \ #if (b_const) \ const \ #endif Any idea about how to do it?
