  Hi Everyone: I am attempting to call a function when any cell in a NSMatrix instance is selected. I am using the following code in order to accomplish this: [[cellArray objectAtIndex:0] setAction:@selector(testing:)]; [[cellArray objectAtIndex:1] setAction:@selector(testing:)]; However, when I toggle the selection of the two cells, the function isn't run. Is my method of setting the action of each cell incorrect, or is the problem located somewhere else? Thanks for any help.

Without doing one cell per line, there are ~20 columns.   I want to resize my table view cells from inside the cell instead of from the UITableViewDelegate. I am resizing them based on asynchronous content, so I can't size them in the delegate. I tried setting self.frame inside the cell, but the table view was really unhappy about that. Cells were overlapping and all kinds of craziness was going on.

  I have an uitableview with UITableViewCellSTyleValue1 so i have a textlabel and a detail text label. The second thing i've got is a NSMutableArray. Now i want to fill the textLabels with the even items and the detailTextlabels with the odd entries. So for example cell one(zero) gets entry 0 and 1 cell one gets 2 and 3 and so on. I didn't get it working until now. :(

• indentationLevel property doesn't appear to do anything?

  I'm have a number rows I'm inserting into a table using -insertRowsAtIndexPaths:withRowAnimation, and I would like the rows to be indented from the left to distinguish them from the rest of the cells. The indentationLevel property of UITableViewCell looks like it's exactly what I need, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Here's the code I'm using to set the indentation level (dot syntax doesn't make a difference): [cell setIndentationWidth:10]; [cell setIndentationLevel:1]; Is indentationLevel what I want, or should I be looking elsewhere?

  lets say i want to test if the first letter in cell A1 is an "A" =Mid(A1, 1, 1)="A" Now lets say i want to find out if either the first and fourth letters in cell A1 is an "A" I would of thought you could something like this: =Mid(A1, or(1,4), 1)="A" Instead of having to do this: =IF(MID(A1,1,1)="A",TRUE,IF(MID(A!,4,1)="A",TRUE,FALSE)) Am i on the right track?   Hello, We've just got a HTC HD2 handset through (UK - T-mobile); and we've installed the Cisco Anyconnect client. It connects ok but then after a few seconds disconnects, then reconnects. It then keeps cycling through in this way, and at no point can we even attempt to sync Exchange! Our ASA 5510 reports; Group User IP <149.254.217.2 SVC Message: 17/ERROR: Reconnecting to recover from error.. And from the phone log; 10:56:03Debug Function: CSocketTransport::getTransportMTU File: ..\IPC\SocketTransport.cpp Line: 1058 Invoked Function: CNetInterface::GetTcpIpMTU Return Code: -32571377 (0xFE0F000F) Description: NETINTERFACE_ERROR_INTERFACE_NOT_AVAILABLE Does anyone have any advice on why it's constantly disconnecting? The phone log does suggest a lack of service; but the phone can browse the net, make calls, etc and appears to have good signal throughout. We did try the Anyconnect software on a Windows 7 PC which worked fine, no drop outs. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Myles

  I have had this Linksys WRT54G for many years now, and it has always worked without a hassle. But for some reason I am unable to connect my brand new Android phone (Magic). The wireless network is broadcast and simply secured using WPA PSK TKIP. My phone sees the network (with excellent signal strength) and correctly asks me for the WPA password. Then when it tries to connect it stays for a while on "Retrieving address..." (liberately translated from Dutch) and finally fails reading "Remember, secured with WPA". Does anybody know how to solve this issue? edit: the android phone is genuine (not modified/rooted or whatsoever).

  At my school, there is a WiFi network where you can register up to one computer or phone. I, however, wish to connect my phone and my computer (Windows 7). I talked to an IT guy at my school and he told me that it registers the computer based on the MAC address (For the record, he's the one who suggested I spoof). So, I got my phone's MAC and now I want to change my computer's address to the same thing. I found this link and this video, so I know how to change it. I was wondering if that would run into problems because they are normally on the same network at home.

  As the title says, I'm trying to find how to run adb commands through a pre-written script (such as how .bat and .vbs files work) so I can make a semi automatic program to pull some files from my android phone whenever I click on the launch.bat which launches a line of program to go through the phone and find certain files. I know the script line: adb pull /data/data/kik.android/databases/ %drive%\All\Database This copies all the files in this specific database into the flash drive's folder "Database" under the "All" folder. But, how could i make it so that the adb program looks through the phone and finds other files, and how could i pull the specific files, rather than pulling the entire folder?

• Disable SMS Syncing on Outlook

  I've paired up my Samsung phone with an Outlook Exchange inbox (probably Outlook 2010), and now I've got the outstanding SMS syncing feature. Only, of course, it sucks, since my inbox get's flooded with SMS's that I already have on my phone. After looking around the internet for quite a while for a option that would allow me to disable that kind of syncing, the only guide I got was designed for Windows Phone 6.x. I want desperately to disable it. Anyone has any clue of how? I can't really believe that MS has forgotten to include the option. I've already looked at this question (Filter rule for SMS / text messages in exchange active sync (SMS sync)), and while it might help me, that's not what I'm looking for.

  I want to stream data from my Laptop PC to my Android phone using TCP or UDP by creating sockets in both the phone and the laptop, but it has to be done wirelessly. How do I connect them to stream the data ? I thought creating an ad-hoc wireless network from my laptop and connecting to it using my Android would work. But my Android is not detecting the ad-hoc network. Is there any other way how I can connect the two ? I downloaded this software called 'connectify' and created a wifi hotspot on my laptop, and successfully connected the two. But will I be able to stream data to my device using this connection ? Can simple direct Bluetooth connection help me in creating sockets in both phone and laptop and stream the data ?

  Hi, When you download files from Google Code now (example), in addition to the text version of the SHA1 hash, it includes a QR code of it. The device that the file was downloaded to is the one that has to hash the file. But, if it can download the file (ie, has access to the webpage), it also has access to the text version of the hash, so the QR code seems completely useless—and more work to decode when the raw text is available. How would reading the hash into a mobile phone allow you to verify the file you download to the computer? Or if you download the file to the phone, how would you use the phone to take a picture of the QR code displayed on the webpage on its own screen? Does anyone know what the point to the QR code is or how you would use it to verify the downloaded file (I don’t mean QR codes in general, but specifically in this context).
