  • How to receive modified model value in MVC's Post method?

    HI, Does anyone know how can I receive the modified model value which I have bound to controls on view page. For instance I have used a text box on view, as follows- <%=Html.TextBoxFor(model => Model.firstName, new { id = "txtFirstName"})%> But in my post method I am not able to receive the modified value from the text box.   • Authlogic openid: getting undefined method openid_identifier? error in functional test

    I use Authlogic with the Authlogic-openid addon (I gem installed ruby- openid and script/plugin install git://github.com/rails/open_id_authentication.git) and get two errors. First when running functional test, I get an undefined method openid_identifier? message on a line in my new.html.erb file when running the UsersControllerTest. The line is: <% if @user.openid_identifier? %> When running script/console I can access this method without any problem. Second when testing the openid functionality and registering a new user to my application using openid and using my blogspot account for that I get the following in my log file: Generated checkid_setup request to http://www.blogger.com/openid-server.g with assocication ...     Hi all, This is hopefully a softball syntax question: I need to call a method with an empty Object array for evaluation and set initial state. In C# I would just do this: func(new Object[]{}); In VB.NET I am forced to do this: Dim ctrls() As Control = {} func(ctrls) Is there a way to shorthand the call in VB.NET and have everything happen in one line of code? P.S. VB-bashing will earn bonus points. ;-)

My question is this, is it ok or common practice in Java for some members to not affect equals and hashcode? How will this affect its use in my ArrayList? What type of java Collections would it NOT be safe to use this object now that it is mutable? I've been told that you're not supposed to override equals on mutable objects because it causes some collections to behave "strangely" (I read that somewhere in the java documentation).

  • Does calling a click method effect the HtmlPage object if there is a 404?

    If I call a click method on a HtmlAnchor, and say that page returns a 404, does that mean the HtmlPage will effect, so searching for another link on the page will result in an error because the page's HTML is the error page (assuming the link is NOT on the error page). Can I manually set the page's HTML, and then locate and click on links and continue on from this approach? (other than connecting via a URL)
