  • umbraco front end site stopped working suddenly

    Hi All, I created one webapplication and placed the default.aspx page in the root folder of the umbraco (i.e., httpdocs folder) and the application dll into the bin folder. I used the name “Default.aspx” as the other names are not working. Now the issue is all the pages are redirecting to the default.aspx page (I haven’t made any config changes anywhere in the umbraco setup) I found this root cause and removed the default.aspx page and its respective dll from the bin folder. The resource cannot be found. Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly. Requested URL: /default.aspx I stuck up here and struggling to resolve it.Please help me out on this THanks, Srilakshmi

    Hi, I have an ASP.NET 3.5 website project, where I have added a few assemblies. When I look in the bin folder in visual studio there the references are not shown, but if I go to the references in the property pages for the website they are shown as GAC. Shouldn't dll's in GAC be shown under references for a website project in visual studio?

    im trying to integrate the Jquery Uploader into my website http://blueimp.github.com/jQuery-File-Upload/ The problem I am having is that I cant seem to get it save the folder I want to to save to. In the UploadHander.php I have the following settings 'script_url' => $this->get_full_url().'/', 'upload_dir' => dirname($_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME']).'./images/machinery/', 'upload_url' => $this->get_full_url().'./images/machinery/', This results in an image uploaded url that looks like this http://domain.com/rcsetch/up/server/php/machinery/image.jpg Other than putting my php files in the root of the website, im not sure how to get it to work, as what I want it to do is upload the files to http://domain.com/images/machinery and not to the create a folder in the directory where all the php files for the uploader are located.

    I'm writing part of a web page that allows a user to build a table and fill it with information. In the course of building the table, the user will be adding additional columns with headers. I'd like to code it so when the combined width of all the headers causes one of them to wrap that the table columns switch to using vertical text (writing-mode: tb-rl).   • How can I pin a div in my sidebar column to the bottom?

    I have a simple two column layout with a footer at the bottom. When the content in the sidebar is taller than the content in the main column, everything looks great. But when the height of the main column is greater than the sidebar, I need the sidebar to grow to the same height as the main column and for the last <div> in the sidebar to be pinned to the very bottom.     In column A, I have dates. In column B, I have my body weight logged for the day. I add one row to each every day when I weigh myself, so this means the data is sorted by date ascending. The weights, of course, fluctuate (though it would be nice if they would go down every day for my own personal benefit). For a couple of calculations, I want to get the latest (or last) weight entered in column B. Not the max or the min, but the last one entered in the column. I want it to work no many how many rows I enter. I use Excel 2007, if that ends up mattering.

My ComputedColumn currently adds the Columns 1 and 2, as follows... col1 col2 ComputedColumn 1 2 3 4 1 5 Instead of this, my ComputedColumn should join the columns 1 and 2 (includimg the '-' character in the middle) as follows... col1 col2 ComputedColumn 1 2 1-2 4 1 4-1 So, what is the correct syntax?

    Is it possible to have a connection to LotusNotes and use it as a data source for a C# project? We use LN for email/calendar :(... and management wants a web page that would interact with the calendar. I think this can all be done within Notes, but I would much rather do it in .net.   • Oracle ODBC x64 - getting 0 when selecting a number(9) column

    I'm having a really weird problem with a third party web service that uses an ODBC connection to Oracle 10.2.0.3.0. I've written a .NET client that generates the same SQL as the web service so I can find out what's going on. The web service is hosted by IIS 6 that's in x64 mode so we use Oracle x64 client. The oracle client version is 10.2.0.1.0. I have a table that looks like this (I've removed some columns and names): SQL> describe tablename; Name Null? Type ----------------------------------------- -------- ---------------------------- KOD VARCHAR2(30) ORDNING NUMBER(5) AVGIFT NUMBER(9) I then in SQL*Plus issue the following statement: SELECT KOD as kod, AVGIFT as riskPoang FROM tablename Where upper(KODTYP) = 'OBJLIVSV_RISKVERKSAMTYP' ORDER BY ORDNING And I get the following result: KOD RISKPOANG ------------------------------ ---------- Hög risk 55 Mellan risk 35 Låg risk 15 Mycket låg risk 5 But when I execute the exact same SQL using the same DSN on the same machine I get this: Values Kod: Hög risk RiskPoäng: 0 Kod: Mellan risk RiskPoäng: 0 Kod: Låg risk RiskPoäng: 0 Kod: Mycket låg risk RiskPoäng: 0 If I first cast the number to varchar and then back again to number, like this: SELECT KOD as kod, to_number(to_char(AVGIFT, '99'), '9999999999') as riskPoang FROM tablename Where upper(KODTYP) = 'OBJLIVSV_RISKVERKSAMTYP' ORDER BY ORDNING I get the correct result: Values Kod: Hög risk RiskPoäng: 55 Kod: Mellan risk RiskPoäng: 35 Kod: Låg risk RiskPoäng: 15 Kod: Mycket låg risk RiskPoäng: 5 Has anyone else experiences this? It's incredibly annoying and I'm completely stuck and not sure what to do next. I think read-modify-write operation on the beingProcessed needs to be atomic but I'm open to other strategies. Open to other code refinements too.

For example, X person saves 10 contacts, Y persons save 15 contacts, z persons save 20 contacts and so on. I cant create seperate tables to save contacts of x,y,z and so on. But i just want to know the alternative method to do that. Is there any easy method to save different cotacts and is there any easy method to retrieve it.     Hi all! I've only just started using Kohana ( 3 hours ago), and so far it's blown my socks off (and I'm wearing slippers, so that's quite impressive). Right now, I have a controller 'Controller_FrontPage' with associated views and models and I'm trying to get it accesible from the root of my website (eg, http://www.mysite.com/). If I edit the default controller in the bootstrap from: Route::set('default', '(<controller>(/<action>(/<id>)))') ->defaults(array( 'controller' => 'welcome', 'action' => 'index', )); to 'controller' => '', I get an error, could not find controller_ (which makes sense), and if I change it to 'controller' => '/', I get an error, could not find controller_/ (which also makes sense). If I set 'controller' => 'FrontPage', everything works fine, but all my links (html::anchor(...)) point to http://www.mysite.com/FrontPage/*. Is there a way to have all the anchors point to http://www.mysite.com/*?
