  I am using FBML for rendering certain elements on the page such as the name of the user, profil pic, etc. However when there are many FBML elements on page, there is a slight delay which occurs before they are rendered - that's fine since AJAX calls are made to the server to fetch the data by the JS FB library. However, I want to hide the container DIV holding these element till the elements have finished loading, so is there any way to specify a JS callback function which gets fired when the FBML data has finished loading?

  I want to fill a CSS box with text till there is no overflow or scrollbar. I fetch text from MySQL. The user clicks a button and the next bit of text that can fit will fill the box. The only way I've figured to do this is by parsing through the text and counting characters and newlines, etc and calculating whether it will fit in the box. Is there an easier way to do this?   Our application fetches the correct database server from a pool of database servers. So each query is really 2 queries, and they look like this: Fetch the correct DB server Execute the query We do this so we can take DB servers online and offline as necessary, as well as for load-balancing. But the first query seems like it could be cached to memory, so it only actually queries the database every 5 or 10 minutes or so. What's the best way to do this? Thanks.

  I'm sure this is really simple, but I can't for the life of me find any documentation explaining how to do this. How do I get the results of a ManyToMany field inside a join as opposed to doing this: {% for tag in article.tags.all %} Which results in an extra query? What I'd like to do is fetch all related tags when I retrieve the initial article, so I could then do something like: {% for tag in article.tags %} Without the .all and the extra query. Thanks!

  I am using Padrino and when I try to specify my application.sass file I get this error NameError at / uninitialized constant Sass::SyntaxError I thought I might have something missing, so I checked out the sample_blog application at their GIT to verify my SASS is working correct. It was working correct and the blog app was running fine. Then I decided to change a line in the blog's application.sass and I got this error. I am using TextMate to edit the file. Weird indeed, any advices?

  Hi there, I am using SQLITE database in my iPhone app. I have a refresh button on my home screen and on click of that refresh button I usually fetch the data from my web service and store it into my database. In normal scenario it works fine but when I click my refresh button 4-5 times frequently my app crashes and My app log Shows "Unable to open the database" I am not sure why I am getting this SQLLITE error. For the most part, my profiles that use it have had their avatar icons of various sizes refreshed, except one.
