    Hi guys... I've been doing some research in to installers for visual studio express 2008. I don't much like the standard publish option. I'd rather have a proper windows installer. Am I right in thinking that the only way to do this is to upgrade to the standard edition? Are there any third party tools which can be used? I've tried googling a lot, but don't seem to be getting anywhere!

    We have a project where we're using Spring-js. With it comes Spring-dojo and the full dojo package. But in the current version of Spring-js (2.0.9), it's using dojo 1.3. Is there a way to upgrade manually to dojo 1.4? Or even a new Spring-js.jar-file that can be donwloaded that uses dojo 1.4?

    Hi I've recently installed VS2010 and I'm trying to upgrade a project that I created using VS2008 and WSSF (Web Service Software Factory). I've installed the 2010 version of WSSF and it's prerequisites. After upgrading, when I try to load the solution I get "blah.ssfproduct cannot be opened because its project type (.ssfproduct) is not supported by this version of the application".     Hey guys I get this error on my wordpress blog hosted on my server each time i search for plugins or try to upgrade wordpress and on the dashboard. I have tried changing the timeout from 5 to 30 in the http.php file in wp-includes. This did NOT help. My blog works perfectly fine. This problem is really annoying as I have to manuall copy plugins and themes and upgrades.

    I'm using Fluent Nhibernate with the following query on DerivedClass which extends BaseClass: var query = Session.CreateCriteria<DerivedClass>().SetLockMode(LockMode.Upgrade) What I want is the lock hints (updlock, rowlock) to be applied to both DerivedClass and BaseClass, but the generated SQL only applies the lock hints to DerivedClass: SELECT * FROM DerivedClass this_ with (updlock, rowlock) inner join [BaseClass] this_1_ on this_.Id=this_1_.Id WHERE ... This is the same situation described in http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-2392 If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

    How do I add a cordova plugin made on 1.6.0 to a 2.2.0 cordova project for iOS? Upgrade the 1.6.0 project to 1.7.0, then 1.8.0 and so on (doesn't feel right)? Or how do I resolve the current callback signature on the new Cordova(2.2.0) that uses "(CDInvokedURL *)command" as parameter instead of (NSDictionary *)options? More specifically, I am trying to add the Calendar Plugin for iOS to a Cordova 2.2.0 project.

    It seems that I have more trouble getting standard Unix things to run on Snow Leopard than any other platform--including Windows cygwin For the past couple of days, I've been trying to get ImageMagick to run on Snow Leopard. So now I'm two steps away from ImageMagick, trying to get a newer libiconv on my machine. I downloaded the latest libiconv, compiled and built it. I put the resulting library in /opt/local/lib, and I still get the same error message: tppllc-Mac-Pro:.libs swirsky$ sudo mv libiconv.2.dylib /opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib tppllc-Mac-Pro:.libs swirsky$ convert dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib Referenced from: /opt/local/lib/libfontconfig.1.dylib Reason: Incompatible library version: libfontconfig.1.dylib requires version 8.0.0 or later, but libiconv.2.dylib provides version 7.0.0 Trace/BPT trap Now here's something interesting. The error message shows it's looking in /opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib. otools -L shows that this does implement 8.0.0: tppllc-Mac-Pro:.libs swirsky$ otool -L /opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib /opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib: /usr/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib (compatibility version 8.0.0, current version 8.0.0) /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current version 125.0.0) tppllc-Mac-Pro:.libs swirsky$ And, for good measure, I set the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH to make sure this directory is the one for dynamic libraries. So even though I do have a library that provides 8.0.0, it's being seen as 7.0.0! Any ideas why this would happen? So here's my question: Is it possible to get ImageMagick to run on OSX Snow Leopard? Are there any binary distributions that have static libraries baked in so I don't have to worry about these issue/

  • Using SimpleXMLTreeBuilder in elementtree

    I have been developing an application with django and elementtree and while deploying it to the production server i have found out it is running python 2.4. I have been able to bundle elementtree but now i am getting the error: "No module named expat; use SimpleXMLTreeBuilder instead" Unfortunately i cannot upgrade python so im stuck with what i got. How do i use SimpleXMLTreeBuilder as the parser and/or will i need to rewrite code?

  • When will a newer version of flex for windows be available?

    I'm using flex (lexical analyzer, not Adobe Flex) on a project. However, I want to be able to compile on Windows platforms as well, but the Windows version's newest version is only 2.5.4a, so it won't compile my file for version 2.5.35. And no, I can't downgrade to the highest supported Windows version. Anyone know about plans to upgrade the windows version, or have a suggestion to compile on windows anyway?

  • How do I gather TeamCity code coverage reports from multiple projects into one report?

    We use the build in coverage application in TeamCity 6 (about to upgrade to 7.1) If we wish to see the code coverage (or other metrics) of a particular build it is fine as we can navigate to that build, but it would be great if we could pluck out a few interesting metrics from all/some of the current projects/build configurations and display them all together. For convenience I would expect the new display to be accessible from within TeamCity itself, however if there are solutions that require a separate solution we could look at them. Thanks

Initially i install database on this pc with some initial data (there are some tables that application uses and the user doesn't touch). The question is - how can i upgrade this database after user created some new data without harming it (i continue developing and can add some new tables or stored procedures or add some columns to existing tables). Since my website is hosted on shared server, many have suggested that those server won't upgrade to 5.3 in near future (probably due to incompatibility issues for many shared users).
