    I am trying to use a trivial geometry shader but when run in Shader Builder on a laptop with a GMA X3100 it falls back and uses the software render. According this document the GMA X3100 does support EXT_geometry_shader4. The input is POINTS and the output is LINE_STRIP.   • Why does this jquery slideToggle code not work?

    I am trying to alter the button text for a expand/collapse button. Basically, a user clicks "Collapse" and I perform a slideToggle and when the slideToggle is done, I change the button text to "Expand" and vice-versa. The following code works great however if you click the expand/collapse button rapidly, it looses its mind and shows "Expand" when it's already expanded or "Collapse" when it's already collapsed. Any tips are appreciated.   • Searching phpbb's 'topic_title' via MYSQL php, but exact match doesn't work

    I am trying to setResult after the BACK button was pressed. I call in onDestroy Intent data = new Intent(); setResult(RESULT_OK, data) But when it comes to onActivityResult(int requestCode, int resultCode, Intent data) the resultCode is 0 (RESULT_CANCELED) and data is 'null'. So, how can I pass result from activity terminated by BACK button?

  • How does COM registration work in Windows

    I'm an application packager trying to make sense of how the COM registry keys (SelfReg) interrelate to the given .dll in Windows. ProgID's, AppID's, TypeLibs, Extensions & Verbs are all tied around the CLSID right? Do CLSID's always use Prog/App IDs or could you just have a file extension class? Which bits are optional? Some of it seems to be 'like a router' where there's the two interfaces (internal - .dll) and external (the extension etc). How does this all fit? (The SDK documentation doesn't make sense to me) I ask as this is all pivotal to application 'healing' with Windows Installer (which packagers are all 'big' on, but there's no nitty-gritty breakdowns since its a coder-thing really) ---Edit: Am I safe in assuming that for what COM is registered, it must all link back to the CLSID and cannot be a 'dead-end'? Verbs need extensions which need progid's... What about the AppId's, TypeLibs and Interfaces? How do they interrelate?

    I happens to find this nice article explaining how OpenID works. Clearly, OpenID consumer and OpenID server transfer information through URL query string. I'm wondering how Live ID accomplish similar functionality. It seems the info is not exchanged through query string in URL. And, since Live ID login server have different domain name from consumer domain, it is not applicable to transfer info through cookie. I tried to google tutorial of Live ID, but the result is full of jargon and hard to understand. Is there any easy-to-understand tutorial about How Live ID works?

    I'm trying to password protect a directory on a server that's running IIS. I've put the following in the .htaccess file in that directory - AuthName "Restricted Area" AuthType Basic AuthUserFile /path/.htpasswd AuthGroupFile /dev/null require valid-user I've tried a whole bunch of different paths and although it's asking for a username and password it won't take it. I've tried using the path provided by _SERVER["PATH_TRANSLATED"] but that's no help either. Is this a problem with my path, or does IIS just not support .htpasswd?

I have implemented both of these suggested solutions: 1# Change SpinningWheelCSS 2# Change JQTouch CSS, JS files, and add JQTouch wrapper to body Neither worked for me.     They say that compacting garbage collectors are faster than traditional memory management because they only have to collect live objects, and by rearranging them in memory so everything's in one contiguous block, you end up with no heap fragmentation. But how can that be done quickly? It seems to me that that's equivalent to the bin-packing problem, which is NP-hard and can't be completed in a reasonable amount of time on a large dataset within the current limits of our knowledge about computation. What am I missing?

    I am trying to use InvokeScript method on the WebBrowser control to execute a script on the web page that has been loaded into my WebBrowser control. If I am calling just a simple javascript function, this works properly. However, the javascript function that I am trying to call is nested within a variable like this: var holder = { DoA: function() { .... }, DoB: function() { ..... } } Calling holder.DoA works fine when called from within the javascript, but the function is not called successfully when I try to call it from within my C# code like this: object obj1 = m_webBrowser.Document.InvokeScript("holder.DoA"); Any ideas?

    Hello community, i have the following problem sometimes my openURL-Dialog works perfectly, then i looked at the variable from the url and that is the variable: www.brehm-gmbh.de but some other times there are some crazy elements at the end of the variable like this: www.adamczyk-fenster.de%E2%80%8E i get this pages from an .asc file and both are in this file normal without this elements, what can i do to solve this problem? thank you all for helping beforehand

  • Silverlight Dataform validation doesn't work

    Hi I can't get dataform and it's controls to catch exceptions when validating. Fir instance, I have: <PasswordBox Password="{Binding Password,Mode=TwoWay,NotifyOnValidationError=true,ValidatesOnExceptions=true}" /> All required properties are set to true. In the setter of my Password property I throw a ValidationException upon failed validation, but the data form doesn't catch it, it just causes the application to crash as if it were a normal exception. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks
