  • Trying to created a tabled layout won't work with CSS

    Hello, I'm trying to recreate a sort of table layout of a contact form. Here's the current form: http://www.radonsystems.net/contact-us and this is what the work-in-progress is like http://www.radonsystems.net/newsite/?do=contact-us As you can see, there is an issue with the second form - I just don't know how to fix it. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? The style (CSS) for that part, is nearly 100% copied over, only that I've changed the font, but kept within same family.

    Hi, Kangxi radicals in the range 2F00-2FDF (see link text) are not displayed correctly on the iPhone device. They appear as a crossed-out box. In the simulator they display correctly. I tried the system font and also the [UIFont fontWithName:@"STHeitiTC-Medium" size:24]; ... Is the unicode codepoint coverage limited on the iphone (in my case OS 3.1.3)? How to make those radicals appear??? Thx

  • How do I change the size of the menus in Visual Studio 2008?

This is the weirdest thing: For some reason, when I'm running VS 2008 in XP, and I use the 'Advanced Appearance settings' control panel to change the Size of menu items in all applications, Visual Studio 2008 is unaffected by the change. (That's Control Panel - Display - Appearance tab - Advanced - select 'Menu' from the item drop-down, and change the Font size) Anyone else noticed this? Is anyone aware of a fix? Thanks in advance!

    GoogleAppEngineLauncher can display the local log file of my app while it is running on my Mac during development. However, I can't change the font size there so I would like to use the tail command to watch the log file myself. It's a shame but I can't find the log files. They are not under /var/log/, ~/Library/Logs or /Library/Logs. Do you know where they are?

My question is that word does not allow more that 200 characters in the prompt box wherein the user types in the questions. Is there a way I can increase its maxlength.     So, here's what I'm trying to do, and I, frankly, believe it should be obvious, but I can't figure it out. I am creating a very simple Artificial Intelligence simulation. And in this simulation there's an input box at the bottom of the screen (called "input" exactly). "input" has a variable in its properties that is called "inbox" (exactly). Using a key listener the script calls up a function when the enter button is pressed. This function has 2 if statements and an else statement which dictate the responses of the AI (named "nistra"). The problem is this, When I type in what I want to say, and hit enter, it always uses the second response ("lockpick" in the code below). I have tried variations on the code but I still don't see the solution. I believe the problem is that the "typein" variable holds all the format information from the text box as well as the variable, but I could be wrong, that information is in here as well, underneath the code itself.
