• "Downloading" a computed value form JavaScript

  I'm hoping you can prove me wrong here (please, please, please! ;). I have a situation where I need to download encrypted data from a Server D (for "Data"). Server K (for "Key") has the encryption key. For security sake, I would really prefer that Server D never know the key that Server K knows. What I want is my client (e.g. your browser) to connect to Server D for the data and Server K for the key and doe the decryption locally so the unencrypted stuff never leaves your computer. I can do this fine for text areas in the dom by replacing the contents of the HTML. However, sometimes, I would like to do larger files that I stream to the file system. For instance, perhaps I want to encrypt a movie and decrypt it and stream the contents to the my video player. I am not a JavaScript guru by any stretch, especially when it comes to the edge cases of things like the security sandbox. For Small D, I can handle the decryption, but I don't know how to save the decrypted file. Large D seems problematic as memory runs out. Anybody have any ideas that don't involve native plugins? Multi-value schema attributes get considerably more complicated. Say (for the sake of argument) my value is "Projects" and each user may be a list as many projects as necessary. • AdvancedDataGrid dynamic text Value Coloring - ItemRenderer problem

  In my AdvancedDataGrid, I am adding dynamic values to cells by dragging a cell value to other cells. While copying, I am setting the value to listData and setting the Red color to the value in ItemRenderer. Everything is working fine, but when I scroll down/up, the values remains in the cells where thay are supposed to be(as I am setting to listData) but the coloring behaves wierd(as I am trying to set the color in ItemRenderer). I don't want to store the color of the value, but I should be able to see the dynamically created values in Red color. Is there a way, I can do this? Do I need to set the color to actual dataprovider object and then check in ItemRenderer? • Identity column SQL Server 2005 inserting same value twice

  I have a stored procedure that inserts into a table (where there is an identity column that is not the primary key- the PK is inserted initially using the date/time to generate a unique value). We then use SCOPEIDENTITY() to get the value inserted, then there is some logic to generate the primary key field value based on this value, which is then updated back to the table. In some situations the stored procedure is called simultaneously by more than one process, resulting in "Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint..." errors. This would seem to indicate that the identity column is allowing the same number to be inserted for more than one record. First question- how is this possible? Second question- how to stop it...there's no error handling currently so I'm going to add some try/ catch logic- but would like to understand the problem fully to deal with properly

  I'm trying to find a cleaner alternative (that is idiomatic to Scala) to the kind of thing you see with data-binding in WPF/silverlight data-binding - that is, implementing INotifyPropertyChanged. First, some background: In .Net WPF or silverlight applications, you have the concept of two-way data-binding (that is, binding the value of some element of the UI to a .net property of the DataContext in such a way that changes to the UI element affect the property, and vise versa. One way to enable this is to implement the INotifyPropertyChanged interface in your DataContext. Unfortunately, this introduces a lot of boilerplate code for any property you add to the "ModelView" type. • TextArea being used as an itemEditor misbehaves when the enter key is pressed

• Interesting issue with ScriptManager timeout value happens only in win2k machines

  When I set the Asyncpostbacktimeout value to a large value like 3600000000, the scriptmanager throws a timeout exception (it throws the error almost immediately after user action which triggers ajax request, so it is not timing out because the server is not responding). If I reset this value to some sane number like 3600 or even 36000, it works fine. AJAx content is getting updated in the page. This weirdness happens only in windows 2000 machines and does not happen in XP machines Any thoughts ?

  Hi, I have a class which inherits from CListCtrl class, say class list. I have another class dlg, which inherits from CDialog. Class dlg contains an instance of class list. I have got a delete button in class dlg, on which I delete the selected item in listCtrl and do lots of other processing. I want the same functionality on delete key. I added OnKeyDown() fn is my class list, where I can capture VK_DELETE key. But my problem is that, how do I do otehr processing that I need to do in dialog class. All that processing is dlg class based not list class based. I have many such dlg classes with different data and in every dlg class processing is different. I tried capturing VK_DELETE in dialog class, but it doesn't capture it if focus is on list class. I am totally stuck and have no idea, how to do this. Please give me some idea how i can do this.   'SOUP.IO' is not providing any api. So Iam trying to use 'PHP Curl' to login and submit data through PHP. Iam able to login the website successfully(through cUrl), but when I try to submit data through cUrl, it gives me error of 'invalid user'. When I tried to analysed the code and website, I came to know that cUrl is getting values of only 1-2 cookies. Where as when I open the same page in FireFox, it shows me 6-7 cookies related to 'SOUP.IO'. Can some one guide me how to get all these 7 cookies values.
