  • Javascript table construction bug using JQuery in Firefox on Mac OSX

    I'm using some code to build up tables using JQuery, but in Firefox 3.5.3 on Mac OSX, the table cells all appear on separate lines by themselves, instead of in their respective rows. Chrome 5.0.342.7 beta on OSX correctly produces the table, as does Safari 4.0.5. Also, if I change the JS to append then entire table in one call then it also works -- the only time it doesn't work is if you append it part-by-part as I have done before. My question is: is this to be expected, or should I report this as a bug to Firefox? I'm pretty sure this is a Firefox bug, but I'm a bit of a newbie to JS and web development in general, so perhaps there's something I'm missing? P.S. obviously there are easy ways to get around this -- that's not my concern. See above.

    I'm currently building my first database in MySQL with an interface written in PHP and am using the 'learn-by-doing' approach. The figure below illustrates my database. Table names are at the top, and the attribute names are as they appear in the real database. I am attempting to query the values of each of these attributes using the code seen below the table.     (submit said I was trying to post an image so I've changed image everywhere to ix I am trying to get jQuery to replace an ix inside a datalist. The original ix is the thumbnail ix of a product on a category page. The small ix I am clicking on are swatch ix for the different colors of a product.   • Redirecting users in JSP from within a includes - java syntax error

    Hey everyone, So my setup for my web application is that I have a general header and footer and then I just include them in all my other pages so that all the common elements for all the pages are in a single page. The only problem I'm running into is when I want to redirect the user back to a login page if the "username" session has not already been created. The problem that I"m running into is that I have an if statement at the top of my header.jsp and then I have the else in the footer.jsp and it is giving me a java syntax error. Any ideas?   • jQuery selector .not() NOT working

    I've built a jQuery selector for a function which looks like this: $('html').not('.table-main tr[selected]').mousedown( function( e ) { But somehow it is not filtering at all and i do not quite understand why. Even if i just leave ('.table-main') for the selector i still trigger the function when clicking into the table... What is wrong with that? Using document or 'body' instead of 'html' does not help, as document is not triggering at all with .not() and 'body' results in the same.

  • Inconsistent email formatting with inline css created using Javamail

    Okay, so I have a program that sends an email when it is finished running. I use inline css to format the email. This was working up until yesterday however now I am seeing different formats depending on which email account I view the email in.
