  • how to save class object in registry?

    Basically I have some class objects, each with three properties. Once one class object is selected in the ComboBox, the corresponding properties shows on three textboxs. I am trying to add one save button. I can change the value of the properties. Once the save button is clicked, all the class ojects with three corresponding properties are saved in the registry. Save setting for later use It seems Registing tryKey.SetValue Method can not save an object directly?

  • jquery - targetting a select using $this

    I am trying to get individual selects (which have the same class as other selects) to respond to a .change function, however it only works on one of the selects. If you test out this code it will make more sense. Try to add a few "ON/OFF events", and then select "Specified Time" in the various selects. You'll see only the first one responds. Any ideas?     Hi. I've got form for some model A, which has got few fields: tile description ... colors colors are selected from multiple select and options are ['red', 'green', 'blue', 'yellow']. User can choose colors as many as he wants. I don't think that making Color model and has_many relationship is good solution here to store colors data in model A. So question is: How to store multiple data in db for such multiple select forms?

    When doing a search in active record I'm looking for record's that do not have an archived bit set to true. Some of the archived bits are null (which are not archived) others have archived set to false. Obviously, Project.all(:conditions => {:archived => false}) misses the projects with the archived bits with null values. How can all non-archived projects be selected wtih active record?

    I have an ASP.NET page which utilizes jQuery for an autocomplete-type scenario. The jQuery tucks the actual selected values into a hidden field it creates on the fly, but for some reason I cannot get the value of that standard HTML field on postback by calling Request.Form["HiddenFieldName"]. I can see it by ordinal in the Request.Form object, but if I add/remove controls it will break. Any suggestions?
