  I want to develop a simple search engine, using ASP.NET and C# , where I can search for a word which contained in a very big text (like the Holy Bible or something like that), then the program shows the user where the word is.   I am building an app for iPhone that has javascript running in a webview. When the new auto-select block selection tool is used to select text, and the block is resized from the side, it makes my javascript freak out.   I have the following dictionary: sites = { 'stackoverflow': 1, 'superuser': 2, 'meta': 3, 'serverfault': 4, 'mathoverflow': 5 } To check if there are more than one key available in the above dictionary, I will do something like: 'stackoverflow' in sites and 'serverfault' in sites The above is maintainable with only 2 key lookups. Is there a better way to handle checking a large number of keys in a very big dictionary?

I know when an index file is not present to a directory, files inside that directory are no longer private and will be visible to the browsers when point (eg yoursite.com/images/).   Hi, Depending on the font settings (DPI and such) on the user's computers, I can have text become too big to fit in a button and moves down to the next line (wrap), so if it is a small button that says "Do xyz", it will only show "Do" unless I increase the height on the user's computer, but it looks fine on mine. Is there any way to force it to stick to original font size?

If both classes contained an identical method, does the larger class take longer to execute it?
