  • how do I call create a name of a button variable in a code, with a number in it? (hard to explain)

    Ive got a int, that is changed in a previous method, that now has to be part of the name of a button variable eg int numberFromLastOne; numberFromLastOne = 4; I then want to get 'button4' to do something. Could i use something like this? [[button@"%d", numberFromLastOne] doSomethign:withSomethignElse]; Ive never had to do something this before.... Any ideas would be appreciated :) Sam

  • SubSonic error: db.tables with a ~ in the name result in a "Character is not valid" error

    I renamed a database table and added a ~ character to the table name (my way of notifying it is a backup of something). After generating the SubSonic files, my Visual Studio gives a "Character not valid" error on file "AllStructs.vb" When looking into this file the following line of code was generated; Public Shared ReadOnly DbTable1~old As String = "dbtable1~old". I assume this character has to be filtered out of the db.table names when generating the SubSonic names?

  • XSLT Stylesheet works with a vbs script, but not Perl

    I have a program that is essentially a search application, and it exists in both VBScript and Perl form (I'm trying to make an executable with a GUI). Currently the search application outputs an HTML file, and if a section of text in the HTML is longer than twelve lines then it hides anything after that and includes a clickable More... tag. This is done in XSLT and works with VBScript. I literally copied and pasted the stylesheet into the Perl program that I'm using and it does everything right except for the More... tag. Is there any reason why it would be working with the VBScript but not Perl?     Is there a way of updating the Option Set options for the Marketing List Member Type to reflect an entity display name change? i.e. if the account entity has been renamed to organisation, is there a supported way of reflecting this in the displayed options? I have been able to achieve this using javascript, but wondered if there was a better way of achieving this? At the moment I am unable to change the descriptions of the current options: Account, Contact or Lead.

    I don't suppose anyone knows of a function (PHP, preferably) that can take a hex color code and give an approximate color name for that hex value. I don't need a solution with 100s of colors. Even if it just amounted to the colors white, black, red, green blue, brown orange and yellow, I'd be pretty well in shape.   • How do you specify a direct build name directory using TFS build of an ASP.net web application?

    I have a TFS build set up to deploy an ASP.net project to a test server. The build works great, and deploys to the test server fine, but instead of putting it into the \Website directory that my IIS webserver is configured for, it puts the build into \Website_20100511.6 Why is the date suffixed to the directory name? Is there a way to turn that off so I can publish directly to the \Website?
