    I have an array of phrases (max 2 words) like $words = array('barack obama', 'chicago', 'united states'); and then I have a string like: $sentence = "Barack Obama is from Chicago. Barack Obama's favorite food it pizza."; I want to find/create an efficient algorithm that would return the number of occurrences of the words in the array $words in the string $sentence. In this case it would be: 'barack obama' => 2 'chicago' => 0 How can I built this?

    I am quite confused setting up cascade deletes in Doctrine 2. Here's what my setup looks like I want to setup cascading so that I can do something like $list->getStages()->clear() I tried in Stage class /** * @OneToMany(targetEntity="TaskProgress", mappedBy="stage", cascade={"remove"}) */ protected $taskStages; But that did nothing, I even tried putting the same thing in other classes like List, TaskProgress or Task but nothing seem to work, I may have done it wrong tho ..

I don't think to split Visitors to two tables like Impressions and Click is a good idea because again i would need to have Visitors with two more tables thanks

    Active record is a neet concept but sometimes I find it difficult to get more complicated queries to work. I find this is at least one place the CI docs are lacking. Anyway, This is the sql I wrote. Problem 1.) The OrderBy does not work, what do I need to change it to get it to show the results by posted date in descending order. Problem 2.) I am going to adding a VERY SIMPLE pagination, and therefore only want to show 4 results per page. How would I be best going about this? Thanks EDIT: In addition to problem 2, I'm looking for a simple Helper class solution to implement said pagination into my current code. This ones looks very good (http://weblogs.asp.net/andrewrea/archive/2008/07/01/asp-net-mvc-quot-pager-quot-html-helper.aspx), but how would I implement it into my application. Thanks.

    Hi, I'm trying to code a counter in Ninjatrader which uses C# as its programming language. I would like this counter to commence counting upon the completion of the first counter and once it commences counting to consider only the new condition when counting. So, the first counter commences when Close[0] < Close[4]. The second counter commences ONLY after the first counter has reached 9 and its condition for counting is Close[0] <= Low[2]. I don't know how to write the part of the code where the second counter commences counting and its counts are independent of the first counter reaching 9.

    I have a repository method that accepts an order by parameter in the form: public IEnumerable<TEntity> Get<TEntity>(Expression<Func<TEntity,string>> orderBy) Now that works fine when trying to sort by a property of type string, var entities = rep.Get(x => x.Name); but what if i want to sort by double or int or any other type. Doing something like var entities = rep.Get(x => x.Price); obviously throws a compile error saying I can't convert double to string. How can I make this more generic so I can sort by any property in my entity, or at least the properties where the type implements IComparable or something similar?

    I am trying to figure out how to validate a section of a form using php. If at least one of value 1-5 is checked, then at least one of value A-E must be checked. Value's A-E cannot be allowed without at least one of 1-5 being checked. Multiple values in each section can be selected, as long as there is at least one value in each section checked. I have tried individual IF statements and arrays without success. Does anyone have any suggestions or examples? I am missing something and I am certain it is pretty obvious, right in my face.
