• Google Analytics Campaigns Not Tracking E-Commerce

  I am running email campaigns via MailChimp and tracking the success of my campaigns via Google Analytics. I can successfully see data being tracked for: Reporting > Conversions > Ecommerce (Receiving Data) Reporting > Traffic Sources > Campaigns (Receiving Data) However, I am not receiving any Ecommerce data for the individual campaigns: Reporting > Traffic Sources > Campaigns > Ecommerce (No data) So I see data like: Visits: 18,501 Revenue: $0.00 Everything I have read leads me to believe this should just "work" if Ecommerce is setup. Is there some additional action I need to take for this work? Any help would be appreciated!

• html5 based advertisement guidelines

  I want to experiment with the idea of an html based ad that utilizes my company's search API, is anyone here aware of any rules or documentation (general or per network) that explains the guidelines for creating such ads - ie markup, delivery etc - note this is not a question on how to use my company's api, I already know how to do that. For example, I would like to access the api with jsonp, probably via jquery? Can this be done? Would I host the ad and have loaded via an iframe? I just don't know these things. It is all so new to me... I... I'm scared. Actually, I'm not. However, I would like to know. Thanks in advance.

  Is it possible to remotely (via ssh) make a login to GDM? I'll explain a situation in which I'd need this: I'm on my laptop and connect to my desktop via ssh. I realize there are some updates available. I install them all, but I need to reboot the computer. The problem is that once the desktop has rebooted, there will be no GDM session available, since it's necessary to log in. Can I somehow perform the GDM login remotely from my laptop?

  I'm currently working on a PHP project and quickly realizing how useful a templating engine would help me. I have a few tables whose table rows are looped out via a PHP loop. Is it possible to use just a JS templating engine (like Handlebarsjs) to also work with these tables? For example: $arr = array('red', 'green', 'blue'); echo '<table>'; foreach($arr as $value) { echo '<tr><td>' . $value . '</td></tr>'; } echo '</table>'; Now I want to add a column via an ajax call using a JS templating engine. Is this possible? • Second Monitor stays black/in power save mode

  I'm using two Monitors, a Belinea o.display 1 (Recognized as a Rogen Tech Distribution Inc 20" by Ubuntu, but working fine) on the DVI-Output (connected via DVI-to-VGA-adapter) as my primary Monitor and a Dell 19" (Recognized correctly) on the HDMI-output (via HDMI-to-DVI adapter) as secondary monitor. The graphics controller is a GeForce 9500 GS. I'm running a fully updated Ubuntu 13.04 with nouveau 1:1.0.7-0ubuntu1. The problem is that the second monitor (Dell) never seems to come out of standby during boot: the screen stays black and the status led on the monitor stays orange (it's green when it's on). It is correctly recognized an the size of the desktop is set accordingly, it just stays black. Changing any setting via xrandr/arandr/etc. does nothing. The on-screen-menu of the monitor reports it to be in power save mode. When using the proprietary NVIDIA-Drivers, the second monitor works just find. But these drivers cause a lot of other problems on my system, so i would really like to avoid them. On Ubuntu 12.10 i had found a workaround: When moving the relative position of the second monitor slightly down and the up again, it would turn on and function normally: xrandr --output DVI-I-1 --mode 1680x1050 --pos 1280x0 --rotate normal --output HDMI-1 --mode 1280x1024 --pos 0x88 --rotate normal sleep 2 xrandr --output DVI-I-1 --mode 1680x1050 --pos 1280x0 --rotate normal --output HDMI-1 --mode 1280x1024 --pos 0x0 --rotate normal This workaround stop working after the update to 13.04, and now i'm looking for a new solution. • 5 Step Procedure for Android Deployment with NetBeans IDE

  I'm finding that it's so simple to deploy apps to Android that I'm not needing to use the Android emulator at all, haven't been able to figure out how it works anyway (big blinky screen pops up that I don't know what to do with). I just simply deploy the app straight to Android, try it out there, and then uninstall it, if needed. The whole process (only step 4 and 5 below need to be done for each deployment iteration, after you've done steps 1, 2, and 3 once to set up the deployment environment), takes a few seconds. Here's what I do: On Android, go to Settings | Applications. Check "Unknown sources". In "Development", check "USB debugging". Connect Android to your computer via a USB cable. Start up NetBeans IDE, with NBAndroid installed, as described yesterday. and create your "Hello World" app. Right-click the project in the IDE and choose "Export Signed Android Package". Create a new keystore, or choose an existing one, via the wizard that appears. At the end of the wizard (would be nice if NBAndroid would let you set up a keystore once and then reuse it for all your projects, without needing to work through the whole wizard step by step each time), you'll have a new release APK file (Android deployment archive) in the project's 'bin' folder, which you can see in the Files window. Go to the command line (would be nice if NBAndroid were to support adb, would mean I wouldn't need the command line at all), browse to the location of the APK file above. Type "adb install helloworld-release.apk" or whatever the APK file is called. You should see a "Success" message in the command line. Now the application is installed. On your Android, go to "Applications", and there you'll see your brand new app. Then try it out there and delete it if you're not happy with it. After you've made a change in your app, simply repeat step 4 and 5, i.e., create a new APK and install it via adb. Step 4 and 5 take a couple of seconds. And, given that it's all so simple, I don't see the value of the Android emulator, at all.

• Open .doc file from my website in browser

  What's the best way to give the end-user of my web application the ability to open, edit and save (via browser) word documents that are stored in my database? I have this working by doing an html conversion of the file (via Aspose Words) but this method seems not even close to flawless and i'm trying to improve this. Is integrating with google docs possible/good? Their edition seems awesome and very powerful. I can't use any Microsoft Word objects (and this is even discouraged by MS). EDIT: The application is developed in .NET and currently uses the .NET framework 2.0. However, as this is fairly obsolete the idea is to restart from scratch and therefore use the 4.0 framework and C# or VB.

• Cann't find shared folder anymore

  I use VMware Fusion under Mac, and I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 and Windows 7 as virtual machine. Under Ubuntu, by "shared folder", I used to manage a common folder with Mac via /mnt/hgfs/myfolder. Under Windows, I have set up so that this folder is also accessible. But today I cann't find myfolder anymore under /mnt/hgfs in Ubuntu, while it is still accessible via Windows (and Mac of cause). I tried to restart the machine, reset the sharing settings, it still does not work. Could anyone help?

• How to proxy with apache site from same domain but another port as a subfolder?

  So I have a problem - I have my main site on apache web server on debian on port 80; I develop a web server (in some C++ or C#) and it currently runs on port 6666. But some people are living under firewalls and can access only port 80. I wonder if it is possible via apache map all requests to say mysite.com:80/6666/url as if they were to mysite.com:6666/url, not map via redirection, but really make apache stream content from my site to user as if it were in some folder?

  I create a ubuntu 10.10 bootable USB via the method that is described on the download page of ubuntu. I made that from windows and also from ubuntu 10.04 (I have dual boot). When I boot from the USB made, the menu shows and when I run it, it gives a beep and nothing else. It never boots. USB creation from both methods result the same. I downloaded ubuntu via the torrent provided from Ubuntu. Any help will be very appreciated. I want to make my USB just like a Live CD so that I can run it on some other computers also.

• Why doesn't cron complete my script?

  I have a backup script (rsync via ssh) which is run by cron (configured in /etc/crontab) 0 2 * * * root /bin/bash --login /opt/aebackup/sshbackup.sh If I run it as logged in root like following it runs prefectly fine. root@server:~# /opt/aebackup/sshbackup.sh If I run it via cron it would just stop after a while (not always on the same task in the script.. it seems pretty random, like the process is killed at some point randomly) Does anyone have an idea why my cron would do that? thanks for anything...   I'm wondering how best to optimize my Joomla site's SEO. I have pages with multiple articles on each page. Either via category-type pages, or via modules. In each case, I'm not wanting users to access the articles separately from the forward facing, menu-linked pages. I understand however that Joomla still generates a url for those articles, and Google can still crawl and display these articles separate from the pages. My question is what is the best way to control this so that my users get directed only to the front-facing pages? By using the canonical element for each article to point to the front-facing page it's on? Or is there a better method? Thanks for your help!

• How do I mount an HP Touchpad (Cyanogen Mod 9)?

  I've recently installed Cyanogen Mod 9 on my HP Touchpad tablet, but I'm encountering problems when trying to access it from my Ubuntu laptop (Ubuntu 11.10, Gnome-Shell, Nautilus). I've first tried accessing it via PTP as suggested here. Ubuntu will recognize the Touchpad as a digicam and only grant me access to two directories: "DCIM" and "Pictures". I then tried accessing the tablet via MTP using this post on OMGUbuntu!. Ubuntu will connect to the tablet, but only grant me access to a folder named "Playlists". I'm a bit clueless as to what I'm doing wrong and would very much appreciate any help or hints. Many thanks!

• Best way of accessing data on different pages

  I'm looking for a way to load data into properties/variables etc and have this information accessible to all the pages of my app. I want the information to be loaded via a background thread to keep UI thread free. Some of the pages will have various properties of their controls binding to these global properties. Here is what I tried. Created a static class. All pages could access the data but can't bind. Changed the static class to a Singleton and used DependencyProperty's. All pages could access data and binding worked fine but cross-threading issues when accessing via background threads. I have read in various places on this subject but haven't really come up with the best method yet for my situation.

• No sound in any web browser(s)

  Hello I recently tried to compile and update alsa from source via this guide http://www.stchman.com/alsa_update.html. Afterwards the sound in any web browser I open Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Chromium, Iron there is no sound on any pages. I went back through the script listed on the site and found where it had installed the drivers and deleted it and than re-installed alsa via synaptic. Though I still have no sound in my browser(s). All system sounds work as they are supposed to only web sounds don't work. Here is my alsabase.conf http://paste.ubuntu.com/1073135/ also a snapshot of alsamixer Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank You and let me know if any more information is required.

• 12.04 drops Wired Network if Wireless connects

  This is a little different then most of the questions I have seen here. When I am at my office I keep my Lenovo Thinkpad t61p running Ubuntu 12.04 x64 connected via wired Ethernet. I also typically leave the wireless radios on. After a recent update the behavior of laptop in regards to the networks has changed. It used to be that if the laptop had a wired connection, the wired would supersede the wireless. Now, when I get to work and plug the laptop in and power it up, it connects via wired (correct behavior), shortly after the wireless begins searching for its favorite network (also correct) but as soon as it finds a network to connect to, I lose Internet. If I disconnect from the wireless network, leaving the wireless radios powered on, and refresh the wired connection, all is well again. Powering down the wireless radios also corrects the problem. How can I set this up so that the wired network (if available) always has precedence over the wireless?

  Can anyone point me to an application development environment that uses menu-driven coding? This would mean where commands, variable names, etc. are not keyed in, but rather are selected from a menu of context-specific options. For example, the user selects an If...then command from a menu of commands, and is then presented with a menu of variables to choose from for the the 'if' conditions(s) (or creates new variable(s) on the fly via the menu), and is then presented with a menu of applicable functions that are applicable to the selected variable (e.g., val()), and so on until the If...then statement has been fully coded. The idea is that the user never types any portion of the code, but selects all code elements from a menu, or defines them on the fly via the menu. Thanks.

• Are Intel HD 4000 graphics supported on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS?

  I have an intel Core i7-3700 system with Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics with a dual monitor setup (1 connected via VGA, the other via DVI) on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64bit. I'm trying to get my monitors correctly detected. Right now, in only 1 unknown monitor is detected with a max resolution of 1280x1024, which is lower than my main monitor connected to DVI. Also, the desktop is mirrored rather than extended. I've previously managed to get a Core i5-2400 system with Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics with the same dual monitor setup and Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64bit to work using the glasen ppa drivers, but this time, after installing them following the instructions How do I install the Intel HD 3000 video driver? but it doesn't seem to work. Does the Intel HD 4000 require a different driver from the 3000? If so, where can I get it?
