  • Setting a ListView Divider in code

    One of my ListView's needs to be created in code. When I specify a ListView in xml, I can set a dividerHeight and assign a color to the divider. But apparently, in code a color is not acceptable nor is pointing to a resource id. Only a Drawable is acceptable - and I haven't gotten to that chapter yet. Can someone point me to an example of setting a ListView divider in code?

    When i run a JMS related application, i am encountering the following exception error. javax.naming.NoInitialContextException: Need to specify class name in environment or system property, or as an applet parameter, or in an application resource file: java.naming.factory.initial We are using Sun Application Server 9.1 Any idea what are we missing? I already tried adding the following but result still the same Properties env = new Properties(); env.put("java.naming.factory.initial","com.sun.jndi.cosnaming.CNCtxFactory"); Context ctx = new InitialContext(env);

  • Two Persistence Units, Two entityManagerFactory(s), SPring, JPA, Hibernate

    I am using Two entityManagerFactory{1,2} based on two persistence units, autowired through spring, hibernate, with resource local. My DaoImpls are configured with the PersistenceUnit(unitName='...') according to the unit needed. I was under the impression that using them with the unitName specified would allow me to use x number of PUs without problem but I still get: expected single matching bean but found two: [emf1, emf2]. Am I missing some other configuration?

    I like the ease of using @Resource annotation to get a DataSource, but as far as I know, it's not possible to use it in a regular JavaBean. Would it be considered a bad practice if I pass the DataSource object from a servlet to a bean along with the other data to avoid having that lookup code in the bean?

  • Strange iPhone application icon view in the iTunes's Applications section

    When I drag 'My iPhone App' application's file into iTunes it has proper view. Rounded corners and transparent background. Then I close iTunes and open it again. Corners are still rounded but...     What should I use: /findby/name/{first}_{last} /findby/name/{first}-{last} /findby/name/{first};{last} /findby/name/first/{first}/last/{last} etc. The URI represents a Person resource with 1 name, but I need to logically separate the first from the last to identify each.     How common is it for coding style guidelines to include a requirement that all functions include a return statement (including functions which return void)? To avoid being subjective or argumentative, I'd like answers which can name specific companies or open-source projects which have this requirement.     I have successfully configured FBA in SharePoint 2010 with client integration enabled. I can edit the Word document with Office Word. The ‘Open with Explorer’ tool bar is enabled, but I get the error: \siteurl\DavWWWRoot\document is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource. Is the 'Open with Explorer' option available with FBA? If yes, what are the missing settings?

Have tried following: var test = resultFromDb.Cast<BookedResource>(); return test.ToList(); But getting error: You cannot convert these types. Linq to Entities only supports conversion primitive EDM-types. UPDATE: When using the following the cast seams to work but when trying to loop with a foreach the data is lost. resultFromDb.ToList() as IEnumerable<BookedResource>; UPDATE 2: Im using entity frameworks generated model, model (edmx) is created from database, edmx include classes that reprecent the database tables. In database i have a history table for old BookedResource and it can happen that the user want to look at these and to get the old data from the database entity framework uses classes with the same name as the tables to receive data from db. So i receive the data from table HistoryBookedResource in HistoryBookedResource class. Because entity framework generate the partial classes with the properties i dont know if i can make them virtual and override. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, I Want to load Image size 2550X3300 (i.e 1.7 Mb size), i have loaded the image into UIImageView and application gets crash due to low memory, Now i have loaded into uiWebview it works fine but i have to save this image into an PDF file in local resource. While iam saving UIImage in background same app gets crash due to low memory. Anyone has some suggestion or help to solve this issue. Thank You.
