  • Display data FROM Sheet1 on Sheet2 based on conditional value

    Imagine a worksheet with 30 pieces of information, such as: A1= Start Date A2 = End Date A3 = Resource Name A4 = Cost .... A30 = Whatever B1 = 1/1/2010 B2 = 2/15/2010 B3 = Joe Smith B4 = $10,000.00 ... B30 = Blah Blah Now imagine a third column, C. The purpose of the third column is to determine WHICH report that row of data needs to appear in. C1 = Report 1 C2 = Report 1 and Report 2 C3 = Report 4 and Report 7 C4 = Report 1 and Report 5 ... C30 = Report 2 Each report is on Sheets 2, 3, 4, 5 and so on (depending on how many I decide to create). As you can see form my example above, some data may need to appear in multiple reports. For example, the data in Row 3 (Resource Name: Joe Smith) needs to appear in Report 4 and Report 7. That is to say, it needs to DYNAMICALLY appear on two additional worksheets. If I change the values in column C, then the reports need to update automatically. How can I create the worksheets which will serve as the reports such that they only diaplay the rows which have been "flagged" to be displayed in that report? Thanks!

  • getting the value of a filter at an arbitrary time

    Context: I'm trying to improve the values returned by the iPhone CLLocationManager, although this is a more generally applicable problem. The key is that CLLocationManger returns data on current velocity as and when it feels like it, rather than at a fixed sample rate. I'd like to use a feedback equation to improve accuracy v=(k*v)+(1-k)*currentVelocity where currentVelocity is the speed returned by didUpdateToLocation:fromLocation: and v is the output velocity (and also used for the feedback element). Because of the "as and when" nature of didUpdateToLocation:fromLocation: I could calculate the time interval since it was last called, and do something like for (i=0;i<timeintervalsincelastcalled;i++) v=(k*v)+(1-k)*currentVelocity which would work, but is wasteful of cycles. Especially as I probably want timeintervalsincelastcalled to be measured as 10ths of a second. Is there a way to solve this without the loop ? i.e. rework (integrate?) the formula so I put an interval into the equation and get the same answer as I would have by iteration ?

    I have a form where I have an administrator creating new users. The form uses the User model I created (login, password, first_name, etc...). For the last field on the form, I want to have a checkbox that doesn't need to be stored as part of the User record, but it is needed for the controller. The first thing I see is to use 'GROUP BY cu.idCustomer' but it limit only 1 Comment per Customer, but I wanna 2 Comment per Customer.. how now to proceed?

    Is it possible to use a converter the "wrong" way around? In other words: can I swap source and target? Here's an example: I created a simple IValueConverter called NullableDecimalToStringConverter which converts an input if "" into null and a number into decimal. I use it to bind a TextBox in my WPF view to a decimal? property in my ViewModel. In another context I'd like to convert a NullableDecimal into a String in the same way... Is it possible to simply use the existing NullableDecimalToStringConverter inverted? One method is to use the parameter of the converter to tell the converter which way it should convert. But is there a .NET build in way to do such a thing? Another way would be to build a base class with both conversion methods and two separate converter which call the base class methods...

First off, my sql skills are not great (I don't even know if I'm following the correct format for illustrating the db).     Hello, I'm working on the app that uses CoreData. There is location entity that holds latitude and longitude values. I'd like to fetch those entities sorted by distance to the user's location. I tried to set sort descriptor to distance formula sqrt ((x1 - x2)^2 + (y1 - y2)^2) but it fails with exception "... keypath ... not found in entity".     Hi, I am using solr with Lucene spatial 2.9.1 as per http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/library/j-spatial/ I want to write a query, that will retrieve records within a given radius using hsin function, and using cartesian tiers as filters. So i wrote query like this http://localhost:8983/solr/select/?q=body:engineering colleges^0 AND _val_:"recip(hsin(0.227486,1.354193 , lat_rad, lng_rad, 4), 1, 1, 0)"^100 &&fq={!tier x=13.033993 y=77.589569 radians=false dist=4 prefix=tier_ unit=m} My records include many US records and few Indian records. For US records filtering based on radius is working fine. But for Indian records its not varying even if i change the radius . So can any one tell me if anything is wrong with the query or is there any configuration issues related to solr in order to make this work, or since record density is very less for Indian records filtering is not happening properly.Am not able to figure it out.
