• varnish demon error: libvarnish.so.1 not found

  In order to try out varnish for an upcoming project I installed it on an ubuntu server using this tutorial: http://varnish-cache.org/wiki/InstallationOnUbuntuDapper The build process worked without any errors, but I cant start the varnish demon. I always get the error message varnishd: error while loading shared libraries: libvarnish.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory But /usr/local/lib/libvarnish.so.1 clearly exists. How can I tell varnish to look in that directory and load the library?

• BAD DC transfering FSMO Roles to ADC

  I have a DC (FQDN:server.icmcpk.local) and an ADC (FQDN:file-server.icmcpk.local). Recently my DC is facing a bad sector problem so I changed the Operation Masters to file-server for all five roles. but when ever i turn off the OLD DC the file-server also stops wroking with AD and GPMC further i m also unable to join any other computer to this domain. For Test purpose i also added a new ADC (FQDN:wds-server.icmcpk.local) but no succes with the old DC off i had to turn the old DC on and then joined it. I m attaching the Dcdiags for all three servers. And on other browsers, the page just loads for about 10 minutes but never appears. The only way to resolve it is to close the browser completely as the error appears to be saved in the cache. • wvMaxima Error: "Not Connected To Maxima" on Windows

  Maxima gives an error "Not Connected To Maxima" whenever I try to do anything with it. I've looked around, but I couldn't figure out how to fix this on Windows. The only results I got were for Fedora. According to them, I think this may have something to do with the Firewall, but I can't figure out what. I even tried adding wvMaxima to the Windows Firewall exceptions list, but the same error comes up.

  I currently used this code for Imagemagick: convert "c:\users\****\My Documents\test.png" -transparent white test2.png However, I keep on getting two errors that look like this: convert.exe: unable to open image `c:\users\****\My': No such file or directory @ error/blob.c/OpenBlob/2641. convert.exe: no decode delegate for this image format `c:\users\****\My' @ error/constitute.c/ReadImage/550. I installed Imagemagick to my c:\ directory. What does this mean, and how can I fix it?

  I keep getting this error when trying to launch Internet Spades on a Windows XP machine: Spades is unable to start. Close some other programs and try again, or try reinstalling Spades using Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. I used the Add/Remove programs to disable, then enable games.   There is a good tutorial of creation of Sharepoint 2010 My-sites here. In my environment I can't get the connection to Active Directory work, as it fails with: "An operation error occurred." There is a text "For Active Directory connections to work, this account must have directory sync rights." but I don't know what that means... My question is: There is nothing in the Event Log. Where is the error-log? :-)
