    I am working on my web service, and required to persist some image (jpg whatever) and video(wmv) into memmory. Just want to use single_node_cluster to feel voldemort. Can anybody give me a hint of the configuration and sample code of voldemort? I mean how to configure the value type in stores.xml? protobuf? java-serialization? Any sample or link would be helpful.     Hi , I am trying to capture images from two cameras using avicap32.dll messages.I am able to capture images with the first camera but when the second camera start o capture it shows me the dialog "Select a video device".My application dosn't have interaction with the user so I need to select the second camera programatically. can anyone help me?

  • wordpress user uploads, any solution?

    I need to build a solution which will allow registered users of a Wordpress site upload videos to the server and have them moderated before being published on the site. Failing that, I would like to let users upload their file, then the Admins would check the video is appropriate, upload it to youtube, and manually embed it into a post. This has to look transparent - so I don't want to make the users into contributers. Does anyone know of any plugins or home-made solutions that are available for this? edit: the closest I have found is this http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-video-pack/ but the unknown 3rd party hosting is a deal breaker.

    Hi, I am developing an iPhone app that uses Twitvid library for uploading videos to TwitVid. This library first authenticates the app using the user-name and password input parameters. Then it uploads the video. But, recently I switched to OAuth mechanism of authentication which leads to a web-page where user can enter the user-name and password. So, I cannot provide the input fields for user-name and password in my app for uploading video. Can someone help me out to solve this problem. Thanks and Regards, Deepa

    I have a web site and i am showing videos to visitors, at the admin side i am filling the form of video and upload video file and sometimes i need to change(update) the video so i update the video by uploading another one, when i create the video in the first time i concatenate a datetime variable with the video name to avoid repeatition(file already exist) and when updatting the video the problem appears.... as if i upload the new video with the previous name so it will replace the previous one and in this case if the video is used by another process it will fail and the second option(which i am already using) is to upload a new video and concatenating new datetime variable with video title, so the previous and the new video will exist in the same directory and in this case i will lose too much space in my server directory as i have unused videos which takes space which in future will cause problem to me in the disk space so how can i solve this problem ? Hope that my question is clear....thanks in advance for any try

    I want to change the container of a .mov video files that I pick using  UIImagePickerController and compressed them via AVAssetExportSession with AVAssetExportPresetMediumQuality and  shouldOptimizeForNetworkUse = YES to .mp4 container. I need programmatically way/sample code to perform a fastest 'trans-wrap' on iPhone/iPad application I tried to set AVAssetExportSession.outputFileType property to AVFileTypeMPEG4 but it not supported and I got exception I tried to do this transform using AVAssetWriter by specifying fileType:AVFileTypeMPEG4, actually I got .mp4 output file, but it was not 'wrap-trans', the output file was  3x bigger than source, and the convert process took 128 sec for video with 60 sec duration. I need solution that will run quickly and will keep the file size  please help

    Hello! I'm developing a Flash-only application and I want to integrate the flowplayer directly into it, but not on the webpage using some swfobject-like approach. So, at some moment (for example, when arbitrary event fires), I would like to add the flowplayer object to the scene so that it starts streaming the specified video.     Hi, I was working on an application that streams live video using Flash client and Wowza media server. As of now, I use an independent desktop based encoder(Flash Media Live Encoder) to publish my live stream. I wanted to know if it is possible to do the encoding part in the browser? My application would be a used by many to publish their streams so I cannot ask everyone to use FMLE to publish. I was wondering how do the other web based video chat applications do the encoding part over the web. Please help. Thanks
