• GridView with horizontal scroll

  I currently have a GridView scrolling vertically, and everything works fine. But now that I want to change my layout and have the gridview grow on its width instead of height as it grows bigger I am lost. I have tried to simply change the column width each time an item is added to the gridview. But no vertical scroll appears, even though the items are added correctly. Is there a neat way to fix this, or must I make my own gridview? :( Cheers,

• Comparing bitmap data in AS3 pixel for pixel

  Hi, I am looking for a fairly simple image comparison method in AS3. I have taken an image from a web cam (with no subject) passed it in to bitmap data, then a second image is taken (this time with a subject) to compare this data, from these two images I would like to create a mask from the pixels that match on both bitmaps. I have been scratching my head for a while, and I am not really making any progress. Could any one point me in the right direction for pixel comparison method, something like getPixel32() Cheers Jono

• UIPopoverController. Is there way to use Interface Builder to layout the VC and View it Contains?

  Since UIPopoverController is often a container for a non-trivial amount of view hierarchy, it would be nice to do the layout of the VC and View it contains in Interface Builder rather then programmatically. Has anyone found a good work flow for do this? For example I want to embed a UIScrollView in a UIPopoverController and I am not excited about having to do it all programmatically. Thanks in advance.   Hiya, Does anyone have any experience of storing data in JavaScript across all mobile platforms using PhoneGap? My ideal solution would be to use something like SQLite, but unfortunately SQLite isn't supported across all the platforms PhoneGap supports. I tried to ask this question a little while ago, but it got quite a few negative marks.   Hi I wrote this cell.accessoryType = UITableViewCellAccessoryDisclosureIndicator; in this method - (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath; but I can only see it when I select that cell otherwise it's not visible.and it work perfectly when background is white.   Hi, when using Python's stock XML tools such as xml.dom.minidom for XML writing, a file would always start off like <?xml version="1.0"?> [...] While this is perfectly legal XML code, and it's even recommended to use the header, I'd like to get rid of it as one of the programs I'm working with has problems here.   Hi, I want to develop my own REST service, so I've created a HttpHandler that is configured with verb="" and path="", the the application in "~/MyRESTsrv/" will handle any derivated URL. This approach works good in IIS7 with "integrated mode" and apparently in IIS6 if you map all the extensions to "aspnet_isapi.dll". Is this possible in Apache/XSP with Mono? The library uses sockets to connect to a server but if the client using the library is behind a proxy server it can't connect. What I want to be able to do is total the time for a given user and date. Member 1 was online for 1 hour and 37 minutes. I cant just use finish() when I start a new activity, because I want the activities to have a history until the user logs in.   I am investigating automated testing of an old Win32 application that used ActiveX controls. I am spiking use White (from Thougthworks) that uses Microsoft UIAutomation. I can find the AutomationElement related to the control, but how do I interact with it? Spy++ sees the grid control as a single window, so I can't talk to rows, columns, or cells directly.   Gday All, I am developing a site that uses PayPal to take online payments. I need to be able to send my client an email with the link to PayPal in order to pay. In this link I need a way to set a unique value (for example bookingId) that I can use to add the receipt number to the correct booking via PayPal's payment notification feature.
