  • Custom onsynctopreference for XUL textbox

    I wanted to enable custom shortcuts in my Firefox extension. The idea is that the user just focuses on a textbox, presses key combination, and it's shown in the textbox and saved to a preference. However, I couldn't get it to work. But when I click the OK button, I don't see a "syncing" alert. Why isn't onsynctopreference working? Is it impossible to have custom onsynctopreference attribute for a textbox?

  • Jeditable doubling up on linebreaks every edit

    I'm using var retval = value.replace(/<br[\s\/]?>/gi, '\n'); To strip the <br> tags from the textarea and nl2br('$_POST('newValueHere')') to insert into my database and to return back to jeditable to display the edits. The only problem I'm having is that each click on the editable field seems to make all the <br> tags be written twice? This makes no sense, does anyone have any ideas what could be going on?

  • Sharing code between two different git projects

    I have two different .Net projects, hosted on github. I would like to create a shared "commons" library for the two projects. How should I structure my repository to facilitate this sharing? Ideally, a change in this common library in one project could easily be pushed into the other project. I prefer to keep the code itself editable from the two projects (within Visual Studio), and not include it as a library. Are there best practices for this?

How to 'catch' the field editor for this field on form editing.     I want to use a field (kind of QTextEdit), which is capabale of storing picture and text (like MS Word is doing) and it serializes and deserialaizes picture+text data. Is there any Qt Widget that allows us to manipulate with picture and text simultaniously and it has set/get functions which operate with serializable type? In othger words, I want to know if there exsists any Qt widget that can store picture+text and has "get" types of function that returns the content of that widgets editable area, which is a Type that could be serialized with QDataStream.

    Hi im looking (but cant find) for sample app that will show me how to implement UITableView with custom UITableViewCell that is similar to one in the Things app, with smooth animation from read-only view (that hides empty cells) to editable view that shows only cells that can be edited, and custom cell with multiline input with small image. I would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction. Im new to Cocoa/Objective-C programming but Im familiar with Object Oriented programing concepts.

    Hi there, This might be a stupid questions but I wanted to know what happens if two users edit some data at once and then both click submit at the same time, I assumed Rails handled requests one after the other and so someone would get an error message but is this correct?
