• WPF TypeConverter ConvertTo not firing

  Hi, I have a dependency property in a class which I need to be converted to a string. I have added the TypeConverty attribute on the property. The type I am converting is the .net Style class. [TypeConverter(typeof(BulletStyleTypeConverter))] public Style BulletStyle { get { return (Style)GetValue(BulletStyleProperty); } set { this.SetValue(BulletStyleProperty, value); } } When I put the string "Rectangle" in for BulletStyle in xaml it hits the ConvertFrom method in my converter. However, when I use XamlWriter.Save() to serialise this, the property does not appear as an attribute in the string which is produced. I have implemented ConvertTo and put a breakpoint on, which is never hit. I have implemented CanConvertTo and put a breakpoint on, which IS hit and returns true. So i'm stumped as to why ConvertTo never fires.

  I'm using Spring WS 1.5.8, XmlBeans for marshalling/unmarshalling and AxiomSoapMessageFactory. My app. needs a custom SOAP header. The data that needs to be in the SOAP Header is a XmlBean (i.e sessionContext in the code below). How can I construct the SOAP Header with this XmlBeans XmlObject element in it? I've mentioned the code of my WebServiceMessageCallback that I'm using and executing this code results in "'Content is not allowed in prolog.' error.   Hi all, (LocalVariable)ABC.string(Name)= (Idatareader)datareader.GetString(0); this name value is coming from database.. what happening here is if this name value is null while reading it's throwing an exception? I am manually doing some if condition here. I don't want to write a manual condition to check all my variables..   I am using ASP.Net (.asmx) web services with Silverlight. since there is no way to find client ip address in Silverlight, therefore I had to log this on service end. these are some methods I have tried: Request.ServerVariables(”REMOTE_HOST”) HttpContext.Current.Request.ServerVariables["REMOTE_ADDR"] HttpContext.Current.Request.ServerVariables["HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR"]; Request.UserHostAddress() Request.UserHostName() string strHostName = System.Net.Dns.GetHostName(); string clientIPAddress = System.Net.Dns.GetHostAddresses(strHostName).GetValue(0).ToString(); All the above methods work fine on my local system, but when I publish my service on production server. it starts giving errors.   HI ..I made little Shooter game that on screen two ships firing each other.I ahve method on paintComponent like drawing or moving object.But in some reason it works different speed on each komputer.I searchand made some modification to my game like drawing and moving objects in thread..Now it works on every ?omputer same speed.Also if I change size.But problem is I used J3DTimer.getValue() .For this library I donwnloaded Java3d. Problem is If on machine there is no this library or installation my game doesnot working .How can I solw this problem? I should say every one to setup Java#d? :)) ALso I used standart System.currentTimeMillis(); but now my game works very slow...Any idea?

  I am using the webbrowser control in winforms and discovered now that background images which I apply with css are not included in the printouts. Is there a way to make the webbrowser print the background of the displayed document too? Edit: Since I wanted to do this programatically, I opted for this solution: using Microsoft.Win32; ... • How to CompareTo two Object without known about their real type

  I have to implement a one linked list but it should put object in appropriate position. Everything was OK when I use it in conjunction with specific class, but when I tried make it universal and argument of method insert was Object some problem appeared. When I want to input Object in right position I should use CompareTo method, but there isn't method in Object class! The problem is how to compare two object elements without known about their real types. Maybe I should use generic class type? But what about CompareTo? Or maybe combine with Element class and place CompareTo there? • How do I get an unexpanded REG_EXPAND_SZ string from a remote registry?

  I am currently using RegistryKey.GetValue(string name, object defaultValue, RegistryValueOptions options) with RegistryValueOptions.DoNotExpandEnvironmentNames for the options value. However, this is only valid when run on the local machine. Digging down via Reflector, I find it expands the strings locally. Which means that irrespective of the setting, the strings come down remotely already expanded. Has anyone come across a solution to this that does not require running a process directly on the remote machine to get a REG_EXPAND_SZ value? Update: I attempted to use WMI's StdRegProv provider to gain access, but it still expands the strings before sending them back.

• Copying data across tabs

  Hello, I got two different forms in two different tabs. One has data from our system and the other one is an interface of another, external, system in wich we need to copy data into (XML or API integration not an option here) The this is that, having open both forms - in two different tabs - i need a greasemonkey script or something similar that allows my to copy data from one form to the other (using the getValue method in Javascript). The problem right now is that I cannot figure out how to reference with a greasemonkey script one particular tab or window (to rad data from or write data to). Do you think it would be possible to do what I'm thinking to do? THANKS

Also i thought that maybe it's because the default fonts somehow do not support utf-8 so according to pisa documentation i tried to set fontface in template body in style section. that still gave no results. Does any one have some ideas how to solve this issue?

Can anyone suggest how I do this? Or do I need to specify the types I want to allow somewhere and switch on the property's type to see if it's allowed? That's a little messy, so it'd be nice if I there was a tidier way.

  Hi, I've got a Customer object with a Collection of CustomerContacts IEnumerable Contacts { get; set; } In some other code I'm using Reflection and have the PropertyInfo of Contacts property var contacts = propertyInfo.GetValue(customerObject, null); I know contacts has at least one object in it, but how do I get it out? I don't want to Cast it to IEnumerable because I want to keep my reflection method dynamic. I thought about calling FirstOrDefault() by reflection - but can't do that easily because its an extension method. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I think it is because itr.next() is not considered as a string. How can I solve this problem? I tried to replace Set keys by Set<String> keys. It did not help.
