  Hi, In the ContentObserver class, the method onChange is passed a boolean selfChange that's defined as: "true if the update was caused by a call to commit on the cursor that is being observed." What's the proper way to update the cursor so that selfChange is set to true? My current code doesn't reference the cursor at all for an update and selfChange is always false as a result.   Bazaar has a Launchpad pseudo-protocol (lp:) that able the user to operate in remote branchs without write full Launchpad location, I'm searching a way to create my own pseudo-protocols in a way like this (similar to GIT): bzr remote my sftp://[email protected]/home/myuser/myrepo/ bzr push my:mybranch bzr push my:otherbranch bzr push my:anotherbranch ...instead of... bzr push sftp://[email protected]/home/myuser/myrepo/mybranch bzr push sftp://[email protected]/home/myuser/myrepo/otherbranch bzr push sftp://[email protected]/home/myuser/myrepo/anotherbranch ...that is a pain in the ass.   I am having issues pushing my codes into my Bazaar repository. It worked earlier for my first commit but not it does not work at all. Everytime I try to push my codes, I get this exception Error while executing push [Error 5] Access is denied: 'c:\\users\\benjam~1.won\\appdata\\local\\temp\\tmpj2hcal.pag' Any idea how I resolve this? I have even deleted the repo and .git folder and tried again but I keep getting this error regardless of the branch I guess.   I'm updating the IDs with new IDs, but I need to retain the same ID for the master record in table A and its dependents in table B. The chunk bracketed by comments is the part I can't figure out.   I like the apparent simplicity of JdbcTemplate but am a little confused as to how it works. It appears that each operation (query() or update()) fetches a connection from a datasource and closes it. Beautiful, but how do you perform multiple SQL queries within the same connection? I might want to perform multiple operations in sequence (for example SELECT followed by an INSERT followed by a commit) or I might want to perform nested queries (SELECT and then perform a second SELECT based on result of each row). How do I do that with JdbcTemplate. Am I using the right class?

  We're trying to implement a custom solution for Growl for Windows. We tell the Growl client to subscribe to notifications from our server. The server then gets a message from the client via the GNTP (Growl messaging protocol). We require the name of the user logged into the client machine in order to do database lookups. The GNTP does not provide this information. So, we have a connected client socket (and thus, IP address) and a message from this client containing its machine name. Is there any possible way to determine the username of the user who is logged into the specified machine? We have access to windows domain services.

• Issue with WIC image resizing on ASP.NET MVC 2

  I am attempting to implement image resizing on user uploads in ASP.NET MVC 2 using a version of the method found: here on asp.net. This works great on my dev machine, but as soon as I put it on my production machine, I start getting the error 'Exception from HRESULT: 0x88982F60' which is supposed to mean that there is an issue decoding the image. However, when I use WICExplorer to open the image, it looks ok. I've also tried this with dozens of images of various sources and still get the error (though possible, I doubt all of them are corrupted). • How do I stub a view in rspec-2

  I'm in the process of upgrading an app to Rails 3/Rspec 2. I see that stubbing a view helper method has changed in Rspec 2. It looks like instead of doing template.stub!, we're now supposed to do view.stub!, but I can't seem to get this to work on beta 10. I get an "undefined local variable or method `view' for # < RSpec::Core::ExampleGroup::Nested_1::Nested_1::Nested_1:0x106785fd0" error. I see that in this commit David removed the view method, but I can't figure out what it was replaced with. Something in ActionView::TestCase::Behavior? I'm on rails 3.0.0.beta3. Any idea what I'm missing?

  I love reStructuredText, however the tools that support it are scattered all over the Internet. The official tool list is incomplete and/or outdated, and can be updated only via commit privileges. For some time there was a comprehensive list at the Wikipedia reStructuredText page, but this apparently "may not meet the notability guideline for web content" and is scheduled for removal. So to put it in a question form: What tool support can one expect to find when working with reStructuredText, e.g. text editors, Wiki software, converters to and from reStructuredText etc.?

  I have to set up an XML "web service" that receives a POST where the 'Content-type header will specify “text/xml”.' What is the simplest way to get the XML into an XDocument for access by VB.NET's axis queries? I don't believe the web service is guaranteed to follow any protocol (e.g. SOAP, etc); just specific tags and sub-tags for various requests, and it will use Basic Authentication, so I will have to process the headers. (If it matters: * the live version will use HTTPS, and * the response will also be XML.)

  I have a Windows Service that does the following when started. When running via a Console application it works fine, but once I put in a Windows Service I get the below exception. Here is what I have tried so far: Disabled the firewall, also tried adding explicit exclusions for the exe, port, and protocol Checked CAS Policy Config, shows unrestricted rights Configured the Service to run as an Administrator Account, Local System, Local Service, and Network Service, each with the same result Tried different ports Also tried 127.0.0.1 just to see... same issue This is wrecking my head, so any help would be greatly appreciated: The Code: var _listener = new TcpListener(endpoint); //192.168.2.2:20000 _listener.Start(); The resulting Exception: Service cannot be started. • Request builder call not returning when using ssl(https)

  Hi , I am using GWT. Currently using gwt-rpc to for login authentication. For only login purpose i want to use ssl(https) and so instead of using gwt-rpc i am trying Request Builder and calling a servlet with https. When in Servlet URL i use protocol as http the request builder works perfectly and response returns to client side(onResponseReceived ). but when i use https in the servlet url then the servlet is gettting called but the response is not returning to the onResponseReceived method of request builder. my url with http looks like : http://localhost:8888/myproject/myservlet and with https it looks like :https://localhost/myproject/myservlet Please give any suggestion or is there any other way to do it.and also is it possible to use ssl over gwt-rpc.

• deleting registry key, using Visual Studio 2008 setup and deployment project in windows 7

  I have created a setup and deployment project in Visual Studio 2008 Professional. I'm using Visual C++, and in it I have two exe files which run under custom actions. One is running in commit and other in uninstall. Purpose is to add a registry key at install time and remove it at uninstall. It works perfectly on Windows XP but when I change to Windows 7 and run the setup, only the key-adding part works. The key doesn't get deleted at uninstall. But when I take the uninstall exe file out from the setup and run it separately on Windows 7, (not through the setup, by just double-clicking on the exe) it removes the registry entry perfectly. Any idea what the problem is?

• Include OpenX ad in a jquery-ui dialog?

  I'm loading some content into a jquery-ui dialog via .ajax. That's all working fine but now I've been given an OpenX ad to embed into the dialog & can't figure out how to do it. I know all the script is stripped when coming in via ajax, & I know how to use $.getScript to load .js files for use in the dialog, but the OpenX ad script I've got uses document.write so I think it's expecting to be embedded inline into the desired position on the page. I've tried appending the escaped script string into the div on ajax success of the main content as below, but this results in the page being redirected to a page with just the ad on it.   Hey everyone, What I am trying to do is pass the raw content of an outgoing email to spamassassin in order to calculate a spam score. I am stuck in how I might get the raw content of the email. My C# code currently just constructs the MailMessage and passes it the SmtpClient's Send() method. Before sending, is there a way to get a raw version of the mail message (as the protocol might see it) so that I can pass this to the spamassassin tool for spam assessment?   I created a local Git repo on my laptop and then pushed the source to Heroku creating a remote branch. After a few days of commits and pushes, I need to rollback to an earlier commit. Here's what I did. cd <app root> git checkout 35fbd894eef3e114c814cc3c7ac7bb50b28f6b73 Someone told me that doing the checkout created a new working tree(?) and not the branch itself, so when I pushed the rollback changes to Heroku, it said everything is up to date and nothing was pushed. How do I fix this situation? Thanks for your help in advance.

• What is best way to raise application events for use with admin network monitoring tools

  In a semi-critical .NET service application, what would be a good strategy for raising application events that could be monitored by network administration tools? The events would be for errors, status changes, and possibly other notifications. My company is planning to use some kind of tool down the road to monitor all critical machines and services. As of right now they are using Spice Works to do some monitoring but it is not known if they will keep this down the road. By strategy I mean, perhaps using some sort of protocol ( my network admin has mentioned SNMP), perhaps a service such as windows event log. I have no idea what is available, so I'm leaving the options open. With that in mind, here is a list of preferences I came up with: Somewhat easy to use with .NET. Reliability Should work well with a variety of admin monitoring tools Works with non - windows monitoring tools Works with Spice Works

• Bitbucket Wiki TableOfContents

  Hello guys, I started with bitbucket and tried to use the wiki for my documentation. Therefore, i created a folder "documentation" unter the folder "wiki" (same level as home.wiki) and added some .wiki files. Now i'm trying to display all these contents of Documentation/ as table of contents. Therefore, i added the line: <<toc Documentation/ 2 >> After commit and push my home.wiki page really shows a TOC, but it contains only the first file stored in the folder Documentation/. I want them all to be listed. What is my mistake? Best regards Philipp
