• PODS + WordPress + User Registration

  So I have PODS installed on my wordpress site that I am developing. I need to put up a user registration system such that once the user registers, he/she can be directed to POD pages that I have created. Can I just use the default registration system that comes with wordpress and redirect users based on a default role I assign to them? I basically don't want my potential users to view any part of the admin site. Any help is appreciated.

  Currently my login controller doesn't work because i can't seem to fetch the username and password. I'm currently using something like this: form_username = str(request.params.get('username')) db_user = meta.Session.query(User).filter_by(username=form_username) if db_user is None: return redirect('auth/error') No matter which username is use, db_user always returns True and thus never goes to auth/error. I used the shell to play with this and i was able establish a connection with the database, so i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong here.

Something that I could turn on/off for each web application that tomcat is handling. is this possible? So basically it would be a re-usable filter that hooks into the web pipeline that could alter the requests behavior or perform/modify the requests. One example would be to log all ip's, or redirect based on the url, block the request, etc.
