  Greetings, in my ASP.NET MVC application I've created a custom MembershipProvider. It works fine, however when user is successfully logged, I would like to create an Operator object and make it possible to access this object on every controller and view. I was thinking about session to do this but when session expires this object is null but user that had been logged using MembershipProvider is still logged in. Is there any way I can store my Operator object in MembershipProvider and access it on every controller and view I need?

• asp.net prevent form submission twice

  I have a web forms web application (asp.net 2.0). When the user submits the form I have the submit link actually going away so they can't submit it again. However, they could press F5 and that is causing another insert into the database, which I don't want to have happen. Is there a setting of some sort that I can set if/when they do press F5 to tell the page - don't submit again?

Also what’s TModel that’s associated with viewdata? How does one utilize TModel? The viewdata explanation in spark view engine talks about TModel and I couldn’t get a clue of how I can use it in my projects. Can someone help me?

  Hello, We have a series of products with built in web servers each of which has a login page, a customer wants to create a web portal in which they log into once, from there they can simply click on any of the devices (external websites) and it will automatically login to that site and redirect them to the page after the login screen. The portal is using ASP.NET MVC, the external devices are Windows CE based units running embedded web servers. Can find a lot on scraping, but not much on redirection after the event. Only slight annoyance is that when developing new plugins, I don't get intellisense on classes inside the App_Code directory. On a successful build, I use a <buildpublisher to copy the site to a deployment folder. My problem is that the buildpublisher is copying everything to the destination folder, including every .svn folder and its contents. What is the easiest way to strip out the .svn folders before copying to the deployment folder?
