  • Jqeury Validate() special function

    Hi there, i'm using the Jquery validate() plugin for some forms and it goes great. The only thing is that i have an input field that requires a special validation process. Here is how it goes: The Jquery validate plugin is called in the domready for all the required fields. Here is an exemple for an input: <li> <label for="nome">Nome completo*</label> <input name="nome" type="text" id="nome" class="required"/> </li> And here is how i call my special function: <li> <span id="sprytextfield1"> <label for="cpf">CPF* (xxxxxxxxxxx)</label> <input name="cpf" type="text" id="cpf" maxlength="15" class="required" /> <span class="textfieldInvalidFormatMsg">CPF Inv&aacute;lido.</span> </span> </li> And at the bottom of the file i call the Spry function: <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- var sprytextfield1 = new Spry.Widget.ValidationTextField("sprytextfield1","cpf"); //--> </script> Of course i call the Spry css and js files in the head section as well as my special-validate.js. When i just use the Jquery validate() plugin and click on the send button, the page goes automatically back to the first mistaken input field and shows the error type (not a number, not a valid email etc.). But with this new function, this "going-back-to-the-first-mistake" feature doesnt work, of course, because the validate() function sees it all good. I already added a rule for another form (about pictures upload) and it goes like this: $("#commentForm").validate({ rules: { foto34: { required: true, accept: "jpg|png|gif" } } }); Now my question is, how can i add the special validation function as a rule of the whole validation process ?     Hello, I'm working in a course's project to predict the velocity and position of the solar system planets (and other objects). It will be really cool if I can visualize the predicted objects data, if it's possible generating 3D images, if in video that's amazing. Do you know any library that lets me to use this data to generate an image or video? (I don't care in which language) Data: - simulation step (time line step for a video) - positions of the objects - radius and/or colours of the objects Thanks in advance, any suggestion is welcome.

  • simple yet secure encrypt / decrypt asp to asp.net

    First post here. I have a asp/vb6 web app that logs in a user I want to encrypt the users identity field and pass(querystring) it to a asp.net app and then decrypt it to do a db lookup. I've google'd it of course and found rot13, not secure enough. I've also found some hits on MD5 / RC4 but did not find any good examples of encrypt / decrypt. Thanks, Michael

  • Adding an HTTP Header to the request in a servlet filter

    I'm integrating with an existing servlet that pulls some properties out of the HTTP header. Basically, I'm implementing an interface that doesn't have access to the actual request, it just has access to a map of k-v for the HTTP headers. I need to pass in a request parameter. The plan is to use a servlet filter to go from parameter to header value but of course the HttpServletRequest object doesn't have an addHeader() method. Any ideas?

  • Sanitizing input for display in view when using simple_format

    Hi, I'm trying to figure out the right way to display comments such that newlines and links are displayed. I know that usually, you should display user-inputs only when escaping html with h(). That of course won't display newlines or links, so I found the simple_format and auto_link methods. What I am now doing is: simple_format(santize(auto_link(comment.text))) Is this the right way to do this, and is it still safe from XSS attacks? Thanks! Eric

  • C# - Possible to use Subinacl or something else (an api maybe?) from C# code?

    I've created a program in C# which creates users and adds them to groups, everything is working fine. But I also want to create a "home folder", which is on another server, and the share will be like this: 81file01/users/username. And of course set the rights of the folder to the newly created AD-user. Now we're using a vb-script to do this, and this part is done with Subinacl, but is there a way to do this through my c# code? I'm using .net 3.5 by the way :)

  • Detecting a Lightweight Core Data Migration

    I'm using Core Data's automatic lightweight migration successfully. However, when a particular entity gets created during a migration, I'd like to populate it with some data. Of course I could check if the entity is empty every time the application starts, but this seems inefficient when Core Data has a migration framework. Is it possible to detect when a lightweight migration occurs (possibly using KVO or notifications), or does this require implementing standard migrations? I've tried using the NSPersistentStoreCoordinatorStoresDidChangeNotification, but it doesn't fire when migrations occur.

    I have a SW which reside in external HDD, it will run automatically when user plug external HDD, of course, the SW have to close automatically when user unplug the external HDD. I can receive the device lost message, however my SW will not be respond druing releasing all objects, if I call exit(0) directly, the SW will show a crash message.
