The data source control in turn performs the appropriate command for the database. For this reason, the Bind function is used inside the EditItemTemplate or InsertItemTemplate of a data-bound control. Why is Bind() needed to extract values and pass them to GridView. Why isn’t GridView able to extract child control’s values directly? thanx

  Hello- Quick question: I am trying to fill in empty spaces with a specific number of zeroes in an NSString stringWithFormat formatting string. For example, I want: @"The number is %d", 5 // I want this to output 'the number is 05' @"the number is %d", 10 // I want this to output 'the number is 10' I know how to do this in Java, but I cant seem to find the same function in objective-c.   Hello, I have a few inputTextBoxes and I'm using document.activeElement to handle value changes of those inputboxes called by "change()" function of inputBox element. the problem is when I change the value of one of the inputboxes and then click in another inputbox... the function will get the document.activeElement of the new inputbox and will not work... how to make the function "know" that the one that changed was the previous one?

  Hello, It looks like the final release for ASP.NET MVC 2 has been already around for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, I can't find documentation that's intended for MVC 2 exclusively. I've checked Amazon.com (no book yet on MVC2), ScottGu's Blog (only 2 short posts), ASP.NET/MVC website (they've only posted what are alreadi in the ScottGu's blog).   Hello, I would like to deploy a directory to multiple developers having different permissions. So this is one thing Git cannot do. What about creating two repositories in one directory and assigning them different file lists by excluding files managed by the other repository with the .gitignore file. Example: /www/project/.git for all files execpt in /www/project/css /www/project/css/.git - only files in this directory Has anyone tried this solution? Now my problem with it. When using Postgres as the database, it does not setup foreign keys. I would like the benefits of foreign keys in my schema such as referential integrity.   Um so I was in for a little bit of a surprise tonight. I spent a good 20 mins trying to figure out why I was able to submit a form knowing that what I entered into the recaptcha field was invalid. Is it true that you don't need to input the exact words it displays? If it shows me two words and I misspelled one of the words, I still pass validation? Same goes if "hello world" and I input "hell man" it still works.
