  • PHP bitwise left shifting 32 spaces problem and bad results with large numbers arithmetic operations

    Hello, I have the following problems: First: I am trying to do a 32-spaces bitwise left shift on a large number, and for some reason the number is always returned as-is. For example: echo(516103988<<32); // echoes 516103988 Because shifting the bits to the left one space is the equivalent of multiplying by 2, i tried multiplying the number by 2^32, and it works, it returns 2216649749795176448. Second: I have to add 9379 to the number from the above point: printf('%0.0f', 2216649749795176448 + 9379); // prints 2216649749795185920 Should print: 2216649749795185827

    Hello, I have been looking for an alternative to Hibernate for various reasons. I came across Liquibase and i like the idea so i am willing to try it. Liquibase will cater for database creation/modification in a SQL independent fashion. My main question is how does my code in my application execute SQL statements without being database dependent?     hello everybody. I am new to fullCalendar and i do not kno how to use gotoDate method. What i have is a tabbed page with 12 tabs (every tab is a month of the year). What i need is when i load jquery calendar, foreach tab, the calendar to switch to the month that is assigned.     Hello I have a ASPxGridView. In it(for the uninformed) is only a DataSource property for telling it what data to load. My problem is that I'm simply trying to mock up an example and don't need to tie it to an actual database. How would I do this? I basically just want a few rows and some columns but since it only takes a datasource I'm not sure how to do it. Would ObjectDataSource be what I'm looking for?

    Hello all, I have tried to use the UIPrerenderedIcon/"Icon already includes gloss and bevel" on the Info.plist of my app and it worked perfectly on the Simulator, but not on the real device (iPod touch 2g).
