I'm trying to make alternating rows in JSF2 h:dataTable (no richfaces or such) but i get an unexpected result. the table is built but it has a white grid shown (but i didn't specifiy any border) and there's no buttom line under each row.   • Android listview produces black highlighting over text when scrolling. How to stop this?

    I have a listview within which each item contains black text on a white background. When testing on a Nexus One, when scrolling down to read through the text, a black highlight appears over the text and makes it unreadable. I am trying to figure out what is this setting so I can turn it off. I do not want anything to get highlighted when scrolling down through the list. How can I accomplish this? Thanks.

  • Generate random coordinates from area outside of a rectangle?

    Hi all, I'm working on a simple tutorial, and I'd like to randomly generate the positions of the red and green boxes in the accompanying images anywhere inside the dark gray area, but not in the white area. Are there any particularly elegant algorithms to do this? There are some hackish ideas I have that are really simple (continue to generate while the coordinates are not outside the inside rectangle, etc.), but I was wondering if anyone had come up with some neat solutions.     Using FullCalendar, is there any way I can programmatically colorize specific days differently than the rest of the days? For example, in the "month" or "week" views, I'd like to colorize days with no events on them "red", and days with some events (but not yet a full schedule) "yellow". Days with a full schedule would be colorized normally (white background). Are there any callbacks or CSS tags I can take advantage of to add this behavior? Thank you.

    Hello Everyone, I have started working on a software synthesizer (or keyboard). I have decided to use Java because of the available Jfugue API. I am trying to figure out how to go about creating the actual keys (notes) of the keyboard user interface, but I am stuck. I am having a little bit of trouble with the algorithm and was hoping someone could help spot my errors.     I'm using jquery.qTip on http://comps.gunnjerkens.com/phws/services/ Looks beautiful with the drop shadow and rounded borders in modern browsers...unfortunately the drop shadow is lost on IE. So I want to specify an IE-only rule that makes the border a different color than white.     I have a tree view <asp:TreeView ID="TreeView1" runat="server" DataSourceID="SiteMapDataSource1" ShowExpandCollapse="False"> </asp:TreeView> As you can see, root node is hidden. However when the treenode gets rendered, there is a whitespace to the left of each leafnode. This is probably because the root node is hidden but is taking up space. How do i remove that white space.

    Trying to parse a csv file that has all the data wrapped in double quotes, because there may be commas in the double quotes. Looks like this: $songs = '"1, 2, 3, 4 (I Love You)","Plain White T's","CBE10-22",15,"CBE10-22","","","CB",984,"","10/05/10"'; $regResult = preg_match( "", $songs, $matches ); I can't figure out a regex that will return the data between the quotes as the matches. I'm sure there is some regex master that can help me with this.
