  When working with Bash, I can put the output of one command into another command like so: my_command `echo Test` would be the same thing as my_command Test (Obviously, this is just a non-practical example.) I'm just wondering if you can do the same thing in Batch.

  Hi all, In general, it seems that the majority of times that ConnectionDroppedHandler would get called in an OCS server application is for expected reasons e.g. server application has been unregistered, server is shutting down, etc. Are there any unexpected situations in which ConnectionDroppedHandler can be called? Basically, i'm wondering whether it will ever be necessary to log an error to the event log from this event handler. Many thanks, Paul

Like why not just pass the username and password through the parameters instead? Is it more secure to do it like the way the guy is in the tutorial verus just using passing it through as parameters? I know it can be done from a Java environment, but I am wondering about the opportunities with modern web languages like Ruby or Python. For instance, why use this code: System.Xml.XmlReader reader = System.Xml.XmlReader.Create(inputUri); over this code: System.Xml.XmlReader reader = new System.Xml.XmlReader(inputUri); I cannot find the rationale for using one over the other, and can't find any relation between classes who use this construct over the other.   I am wondering if there is a way to change the schema that I am working in while inside Management Studio. For instance I may have a default schema of dbo. But there are times I may want to query objects in say the accounting schema. It would be nice if I could issue a command and make it so I no longer must include the accounting before tables and views. But the next time I go in, I will be back to default of dbo.

  I'm trying to set up a JCarousel instance witht the wrap set to circular, however, I noticed an issue where I "inspect element" in Chrome, duplicate elements are added to the html when the slides repeat (it can be viewed on the official example page). http://sorgalla.com/projects/jcarousel/examples/static_circular.html I know this is an open bug on GitHub.
